Esther 1:Obey the commands of most high king- the Load

Queen Vashi was deposed for she refused to listen the command of the king Xerxes, king became furious and burned with anger.

The Mumucan replied in the presence of the king and the nobles that it will be no end of disrespect and discord.

Therefore the king and his nobles were pleased with his advice to give her royal position to someone else who is better than she.

Why?

Obey the king's command, since a king's word is supreme. (Ecclesiastes 8:4)

How?

Ecclesiastes 12:1-14

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, " I find no pleasure in them"

The dust return to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.

Like goads and like firmly embedded nails: let men encourage and remember these words.

Making many books there is no end, and much study wearies body.

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.

For Go will bring every deed into judgement, including hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

Why?

Why a man passed away every thing in the world is gone, and it is meaningless to him. Even when you getting older, every thing is no pleasure, then there is meaningless.

Ecclesiastes 1:1-10

Have mercy to others or help other needed, for one day may be we need other's help either.

When you fell down, then there is your place be still, you do not know.

If we are worry too much such as wind and cloud, it might rain, and won't plant or reap.

So many things we cannot understand the work of God the Maker of all things. Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle.

However many years a man may live let him enjoy them all. But let him remember the days of darkness, everything to come is meaningless.

Be happy while you are young, but know that for all these things God will bring you to judgement.

Remember your creator.

Don't wait until life has become futile and empty and there is nothing ahead but dead.

Fear God- hold him in awe and obey him.

Why?

Help others some times is help our self.

Don't worry too much, do what our duty work, and enjoy the limited life, but one day God will judge us everything we did.

Cast your bread upon the waters mean do all you can do, you do not know what will reap.

How?

Don't wait until life has become futile. Even we cannot understand the reason or the results. Just do it and enjoy it. But remember the Load.

skill and calmness to anger will bring success

Ecclesiastes 10:1-20

If the ruler's anger rises against you, do not leave your post; calmness can lay great error to rest.

The sort of error that arises from a ruler: fools re put in many high position while the rich occupy the low ones. Put man in wrong position.

Whoever do any evil thing will be get hurt his fool. If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed but skill will bring success.

Woe to you, O land whose king was a servant and whose princes feast in the morning. Blessed are you, O land whose king is of noble birth and whose princes eat at a proper time for strength and nor for drunkenness.

A feast is made for laughter and wine makes life merry, but money is the answer for everything.

Do not revile the king even in your thoughts or curse the rich in your bedroom.

Why?

Under ruler's anger need calm down my self, and do not leave your post. Some times the anger is temporary.

Put a man in wrong position may lead error, ruler is the most error.

A king a wise man the land is blessed.

Many question or problem are caused by the money

Sharpened is mean have prepared well before do it.

Pursue the feast, wine and money is the life of fool.

Thinking in your mind, then it will showing your mind in your behavor.

How?

Skill will bring success- I need skill not do it by strength more and calmness to anger.

Wisdom is better than strength

Ecclesiastes 9:11-18

The race is not the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant,or favor to the learned;The time and chance happen to them all.

No man knows when his hour will come: men are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.

Wisdom is better than strength, but the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are no longer heeded.

Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good.

Wisdom may not pay, yet it is still worth more than power.

Why?

Usually battle to the strong, but some times wisdom and time, chance happen may let it reverse.

Do not too confident to my self, some thing we can not expected what will come.

People did many good but once he has done a wrong thing for his sin mind, destroy all he has done.

How?

More knowing the Load and live by His word is wisdom.

Ecclesiastes 9:1-10

The author concluded that the righteous and wise and what they do are in God's hands, but not man knows whether love or hate awaits him.

The same destiny overtakes all. Anyone who is among the living has hope-even a live dog is better off than a dead lion

For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even the memory of them is forgotten.

Go, eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with joyful heart, for it is now that God favors what you do. Always be clothed in white, and always anoint your head with oil. Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.

Why?

The dead and disease will come to everyone, the same destiny. No matter who you are, good or evil man. A man cannot control his length of life.

Eat, drink and enjoy the life that God gives you with your love wife.

Living is is better off than dead.

So American don't leave too much money to his heritage, they will enjoy their life.

Dead comes to all people, so work hard and enjoy life while it lasts. for death cuts us off from all the worlds has to offer.

Food, wine and oil is necessary in living, be clothed with white and anoint your head with oil is let life more joyful and marriage is important in life neither.

How?

man can not comprehend what goes on under the sun

Obey the king as Obey the Load for man can not understand or comprehend what goes on under the sun.

Wisdom brightens a man's face and changes its hard appearance.

Wise heart will know the proper time and procedure.

For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a man's misery weighs heavily upon him.

The ending of wicked men and righteous men sometimes are reverse or the same. But God-fearing men who are reverent God will go better. The wicked do not fear God will not go well with them, and their days will not lengthen like a shadow.

Nothing is better than to eat and drink and be glad, then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun.

Why?

Faith cannot resolve the problem of evil, good people getting what the bad deserve; wicked people admired and having a cushy time. The people can only assert what they know is true.

Enjoyment is the best thing in life.

God has concealed from us the answer to life's mysteries.

Confess that I am a man, my wisdom is so less can not comprehend everything.

How?

Fear God and obey his commends, He will deserve the good for us, there are so many burden and wicked in the world, enjoy the life that God gives us.

do not extreme to do everything

Ecclesiastes 7:15-29

Observed life's anomalies: there are good people who die young, and wicked people who grow old in their wicked.

Do not be over righteous, neither be other wise, do not be over wicked, and do not be a fool. It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other. The man who fears God will avoid all extremes.

Do not pay attention to every word people say or you may hear your servant cursing you- for you know in your heart many time yourself have cursed others.

Whatever wisdom may be it is far off and most profound - who can discover it?

To understand , to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of the things.

This only have I found: God made mankind upright, but men have gone in search of many schemes. Our trouble are all of our own making.

Why?

Sinner man is described as woman here,

Wisdom can not understand the scheme of things.

People always easy sin in mouth, in speak.

How?

Do the right thing, have mercy to others, there is no one righteous in the world, so am I. So do not extreme to do everything.

Consider what God has done

Ecclesiastes 7:1-14

It is better go to a house of mourning than go to a house of feasting, for dead is the destiny of every man; the living should take this to heart.

The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride.

Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.

Do not said " Why were the old days better than these" For it is not wise to ask such thing.

Wisdom is a shelter as money is a shelter.

Consider what God has done: when time are good be happy; but when time are bed consider

It is wise to take account of death as well as life. A serious outlook on life is best . Know how to enjoy good time and learn from bad ones.

Why?

Life has good time and bed time, bed situation may let man learn faith from it. All of this is came from God. Man should consider it. Do not ask why? No one know about the future.

How?

I have the problem usually quickly provoked in my spirit, be patient is wise.

Have faith in the Load, who knows the future, ask why is a fool question who is not knows God.

Consider what God has done.

Enjoy my life under God's mercy and gifts

Ecclesiastes 6:1-12

Meaningless thing: 1)he lacks nothing his heart desires, but God does not let him to enjoy them.

2)A man have 100 children and live many years, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not received proper burial.

All man's efforts are for his mouth. yet his appetite is never satisfied.

Better what the eye sees than the roving of the appetite. Both are meaningless, cannot enjoy it.

The more the words, the less the meaning, and how does that profit anyone?

Whatever exists has already been named, and what man has been known.

What value is long life without the chance to enjoy all we have worked for?

The person ruled by appetite and desire will never be satisfied.

Why?

People desires many thing, and always cannot satisfied. The desires are sometime not needed.

Busy in his labor but cannot enjoy it, it is many people's situation, for he need to spend much time to maintain what he has. Another situation is decease let people cannot eat something, such as diabetes.

What is the meaning of long life and have prosperity? Just let people know what I have? After he is gone who can tell him what will happen, and not one knows him.

What man can do is already known, he cannot beyond it.

How?

The meaning of life is know the Load, if it does not the life is meaningless.

I have to humbles myself, I have to confess that I have my limitation. Don't desire like the others, rich, or career big, I have my destiny is leaded by the Load.

Enjoy my life under God's mercy and gifts.

Satisfaction and knowing the Load has given all

Ecclesiastes 5:1-20

Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven, and you are on earth, so let your words be few.

As a dream comes when there are many cares, so the speech of a fool when are many words.

Do not surprised at the poor oppressed and justice and rights denied; for one official is eyed by a higher one.

Whoever loves XXX never has XXX enough or never satisfied with XXX. money, wealth, food

The sleep of a laborer is sweet, whether he eats little or much, but the abundance of a rich man permits him no sleep.

A grievous evil under the sun: wealth hoard to the harm of his owner, He takes nothing from his labor that he can carry in his hand.

I realized that it is good and proper fro a man to eat and drink , and to find satisfaction in his toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given him.

Sound advice is given about promises made to God and ltitudes to money.\Another life's evil is the business crash.

The way to enjoy prosperity if it comes, for these are God's gifts.

Why?

Loves something, especially money, never satisfied with it. It is greedy.

All of the wealth and goods is consume them, man can not keep it forever.

When we have some thing like to talk to the Load, we should speak less and listen to the Load with respective and fear altitude to the Load. When we care many, our prayer may not concentrated to the Load.

How?

All I have and all I toilsome labor is gift of the Load, enjoy these gift and satisfy with all these in the few days of God given. Speak less, listen to the words of the Load it is a wise man.

What I should worry about, What can I earn more, more close to the Load may get more rejoice.

Satisfaction and knowing the Load has given to him is good and proper for man.

Contentment and humble is the key altitude

Ecclesiastes 4:1-16

The oppression was take place under the sun, and they have n comforter; But better than both is he who has not yet been.

The fool folds his hands and ruin himself. Better one handful with tranquility than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind. Labor & nothing to do, both can get joy. But lazy with negative mind is ruin himself.

This is meaningless:

1.All labor and all achievement spring from man's envy of his neighbor. Spent effort to learn, to achieve but envy come from.

2.A man all alone, he has neither son nor brother, yet his eyes were not content with his wealth. Labor all his life and handover to others.

3.The youth may have come from prison to his kingship, or he my have been in poverty within his kingdom. There was no end to all the people who were before them. But those who came later were not pleased with the successor. His success attracted his generation only.

Two are better than one, may help each other, keep warm, has more strength to defend.

Why?

Do our best to achieve some success may not get honor before all people. Success is defined by your self.

We wear ourselves out with work, trying to outdo one another, never stopping to ask waht it's all for.

Marriage is better than single, it may help each other, share the mind and joy, labor and has more meaning of life.

Even be a king can attract people in his time, after that all of this honor are gone after his pass away. Humble.

One hand is two hands hold something, no competition, contentment, enjoy the rest, two handful is to busy, labor with toil.

When getting older has more experience, but need humble himself, listen wise young men, may own the respective.

How?

What my labor for? For my family, for my next step for the Load.

Contentment and humble is key altitude in joyful life.

There is a time for everything

Ecclesiastes 3:1-22

There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven.

God made everything beautiful in its time.

There is nothing better for men than 2)to be happy and do good while they live. 3)for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is hos lot. 1)to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work.

Who can bring him back to see what will happen after him?

Everything God does will endure forever, God does it so that men will revere him.

We understand time but we cannot comprehend the whole of God's work. So e learn to stand in awe of God.

There is injustice an corruption in life, but has set a time for just judgement, although we must all die.

Man's life is like that of the animals; do dies the other. All have the same breath; man has no advantage over the animal. all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the spirit of man rise upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?

Why?

Man is living under time control, has limitation in time, then everyone has to pass away. What man can grep anything? So let it go, why so care about it?

God does these let men revere Him.

Man is so little if God does not care about us.

Man's behavior sometimes even worse than animals.

God gas set eternity in the heart of men. So men won't satisfy his life in earth.

How?

Men cannot full fill his ambition or desire, except he knows the Load.

There are corruption in the world, in the time God will just judge everyone. Why I felt unfair or anxiety,complain.

A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work

Ecclesiastes 2:1-26

Pleasures are meaningless

Wine, great project, slaves, houses, trees, silvers, gold , concubines for myself. all of these are meaningless.

Solomon want to see what was worthwhile for men to do under heaven during the few days of their lives. He surveyed a that his hands had done and what he had toiled to achieve everything was meaningless, chasing after the wind. Nothing was gained under the sun.

The wise man has eyes in his head, while the fool walks in the darkness; but I came to realize that the same fate overtakes them both. "This too is meaningless"

I hated life, because the work that is done under the sun was grievous to me. All of it is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. Toil is meaningless.

A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God.

To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but the sinner he give the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God.

Why?

Most people chasing are meaningless, meaningless is means all of this is temporary, all of these will hand over to others. Even it gain nothing except toil, anxious striving, pain and grief, even at night his mind does not rest.

Real pleasure is come from the Load, He gives good property and wisdom to the one who pleased God.

Sinner has many property but he can have even he can enjoy with it.

The best for a man is to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. And this is the mercy of the Load.

How?

Remember what done to me from the Load

Nothing is worthy and nothing need me toil to it, if I can eat and satisfy what I have that is the grace of the Load. I should praise the Load.

God has laid heavy burden on men, for our sin.

Ecclesiastes 1:1-18

King Solomon wrote this words be a teacher, or a leader of assembly.

Meaningless! Everything is meaningless.

The teacher found "What a heavy burden God has laid on men!"I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

King Solomon apply himself to understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, he learned that this too, is a chasing after the wind.

For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief.

Why?

To be the most wise man in Jerusalem, in his generation, said the most real truth on the world.

Life as we live it, without God, is futile, meaningless, purposeless, empty. Life is unfair; work is pointless, pleasure fails to satisfy;

If life without God us the whole story, see it for what it is, Don't pretend, Don't bury your head in the sand. This is the truth about life.

A man should think out of the cycle style of living, material, but to more higher spiritual level.

Meaningless like a breath(Psalm144:4)

How?

Thanks the Load that I have known Him, but my focus and my purpose of life is supposed to focus on the Load, everything in the world is meaningless if there is not God in it.

I am not discourage but rejoice for God authorized everything.

Don't worry too much, God has laid heavy burden on men, for our sin.

Whom shall I be afraid?

Zechariah 14:1-21

On that day has many signals. 1) your plunder will be divided among you, all nations come to Jerusalem to fight again it, the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, women raped. Half of the city will go exile. 2)Earthquake, Mountain of Olive will split in 2 from east to west. 3)No light, no sun, moon,and stars 4) a day known to the Load 5)The Load will be king over whole earth. 6)Living water flow out from Jerusalem, half to eastern sea, half flow to western sea. 6) Whole land in Jerusalem in peace and secure.

The Load will strike all nations that fought against Jerusalem.

The survivors from all nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the king, the Load Almighty, and to cerebrate the Fest of Tabernacles.

On that day HOLY TO THE LOAD will be inscribed on the bell of the horses. Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Load, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the pots and cook in them.

There will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Load Almighty.

On that day, first will have disaster come down and many nations fight against Jerusalem. Then the Load will go out to fight against those nations. Then the peace will coming.

Why?

The New Testaments book of Revelation, Chapter 21, 22, echos many of the detail in this finale to the book of Zechariah.

V 6, another mean is no light, no cold, no frost, all cold temperature won't coming again.

Canaanite is unbeliever, all of this men won't exist in the temple of the Load. If they don't come to worship the Load there will no rain.

Before the final peace coming, there will have many flight and trouble. It is like most of our life but it is a hope to all of the people of the Load.

How?

Stand firmly, In Him we trust.

Living water flow from Jerusalem, flow from Jesus Christ. I will joy and satisfy with the Load. Whom shall I be afraid? The Load is the stronghold of my life.(Psalm 27:1)

Zechariah 13:1-9

One that day: a fountain will be open to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to clean them.

One that day: God will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remember no more.

On that day: every people will be ashamed of his prophetic vision, he will not put on a prophet's garment of hair in order to deceive.

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me! Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.

In whole land, two-third will be struck down and perish, yet one third will be left in it. This third God will bring them like silver;

Refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them.

They are my people and they will say,"The Load is our God"

Why?

v6. the wounds are ritual gashes, in some religious they will hurt them self. (I Kings 18:28)

v7-9: God's people will be tested and purified until just the faithful few remain. Only a little, with remnant, the special relationship between God and his people will be renewed.

On the day: No one knows the date, only God knows it. All detestable things God will clean it on that day.

Our relationship with God will be tested and purified like silver and gold need be refined. Faithful life need go through this way and it is God allowed.

How?

Don't worry about the dismay or troubles, trust in the God. After refined faith is real faith and more know the Load.

Christian life is not a easy way to walk, but it is a blessing way from the Load. Don't say why God let this happened, but for God is with me all of these trouble will pass away, since He delights in me.

No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame(Psalm 25:3)

They will look on me, the one they pierced

Zechariah 12:1-14

The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Load Almighty is their God.

The nations attack Jerusalem but they are defeated.

The triumph of victory turns to deep mourning for a man they have killed. The overwhelming sense of compassion which leads to his mourning comes from God himself.

The Load will save the dwelling of Judah first, so that the honor of David and of Jerusalem's inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah.

I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child.

Why?

Suggesting that it is God's own representative the people kill.

John's Gospel quotes from this passage, applying Zechariah's words to the death of Christ

Zechariah 11:1-17

Lebann, Bashan and the shepherds wailing for pastures are destroyed trees are ruined. Their proud has been cut down. It isan ironic lament for the fallen forest of Lebanon and Basshan.

The shepherds and flock images: the nation's leader and its people.

The prophet is sent to shepherd God's flock- but people prefer exploitation to the genuine care of a good shepherd. So God sends his prophet as the worthless leader they seem to want.

Zechariah was a role of shepherd. He took 2 staff, Favor and Union. These 2 staff were broken is means the the relationship between Israel and God broken, Jerusalem was broken 70 years later. Union staff broken mean the brotherhood between Judah and Israel break.

When people don't like the shepherd of the Load, God let bad shepherd raise up, Woe to the worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock.

Why?

verse 1-3: This is clearance in preparation for the returning Israelite.

Who are these shepherds? we do not know.

The lordly price- this was the price of a slave. 30 shekels of silver is the value on the good shepherd(Mattew 26:15,27:3-5)

How?

I was a shepherd when I was in Taipei anointed by the Load, I did my best to take care the flock of the Load, I am doing my duty.

Jesus is my shepherd, so I my release my tension and burden. I don't worry so many unknown thing to come, God will lead my way step by step.

Zechariah 10:1-12

It is the declares of the Load.

Ask the Load for rain in the springtime, it is the Load who make the storm clouds, He gives showers of rain to men, and plants of the field to everyone. General Mercy.

The idols speak deceit, diviners see visions that are false, they give comfort in vain.

The Load almighty will care for his flock, the house of Judah, and make them like a proud horse in battle. Fight for them is the Load.

God will restore them, have compassion on them, will answer them, gather them in, redeem them, bring them back from Egypt, Assyria, and numerous in number

God will strength them in the Load, and in His name they will walk.

Why?

God will be their leader without others. return to the original era of Abraham.

Trouble sea mean the Red sea, they will go through the trouble sea, but they will conquer it.

God is the God of Judah, not pagan gods. He is the only living God.

Walk in His name, I may have save and peace.

How?

Some times I do not pray to the Load everything, I should have more mind in the Load, ask Him to resolve my problem. such as I have confirmed my journey to China and Taipei next month , I have bared heavy burden.

shine the light of the Load,God gave us the freedom from the sin

Zechariah 9:1-17

On the day the Load their God will save them as the flock of his people, sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown. How attractive and beautiful they will be. Give them the grain and new wine, let his young men and young women thrive.

The words of the Load is against the land of Hadrachm Damascus, Tyre and Sidon, take away her possessions.

The Load will defend my house against marauding force. Never again will an oppressor overrun my people, for now I am keeping watch.

The coming of Zion's king, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

The military power of Israel will equal even that if rising Greece. God is his people's protection and salvation.

The Philistines eat food forbidden and abhorrent to God's people.

Why?

The Load give the prophet that the new king of Zion- Jesus Christ will coming with righteous and salvation and gentle.

free your prisoners from the waterless pit: means will free the prison people in Babylon.

How?

Our relationship between the Load like the shepherd and his flock.

God give us the salvation like jewels in a crown, to shine the light of the Load. We, the christian, should faithful to the Load, my God. God gave us the freedom from the sin

Zechariah 8:1-23

The Load almighty give bless words said to Zechariah. I am very jealous for Zion; I am burning with jealousy for her.

Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the Load mighty will be called Holy Mountain.

God will bring his people back from east and west to live in Jerusalem; they will be my peope, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God.

Let you hand be strong, you hand be strong, Do not be afraid.

As you have been an object of cursing among the nations, so will I save you, and you will be a blessing.

You are to do:1) Speak the truth to each other, and 2)render true and sound judgement in your court; 3)do not plot evil against your neighbor, and 4)do not love to swear falsely.

The fasts of the months will become joyful and glad occasions and happy festivals for Judah. Therefor love truth and peace.

Many peoples and inhabitants of many city will come to Jerusalem to seek the Load Almighty and to entreat him.

Why?

Before this Jerusalem have been cursed, it will be a blessing city for God is jealous to Zion.

God encourage his people do not afraid, your hand be strong to do the work of the Load.

God love his people with faithful and righteous.

people should love each other with truth and peace.

The love of god attract many people from many nations to come.

They will come to Jerusalem saying,"We want to share in your destiny, because we have heard that God is with you."

How?

God is with us, God has send his only son Jesus Christ saved me, I should love others with truth and peace in God's blessing until that day come.

Do I Zealous to love God and obey his commands?I do, but not enough.
you hand be strong, for God blessing me.

Obey commands of god is important than fast

Zechariah 7:1-14

Some men come to the Temple to ask about keeping fasts.

God challenged their motives.

Administer true justice: show mercy compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your heart hearts do not think evil of each other.

But they refused to listen God's word which were sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. Their heart were as hard as flint.

The Load called, they did not listen; so when they called, God would not listen. This is how they made the pleasant land desolate.

Why?

Israelite fasts on fifth and seventh month for their country was lost. Fifth month fasts marked for the fall of Jerusalem to the Babylonians in 587BC, when the temple is destroy. The fast in seventh month commemorated the death of Gedalih, governor of Judah after the fall of the city. So when they came back to Jerusalem, they ask God, should they continue to fast.

Flint is the hardest stone.

Fast is a confession, but more important is the behavior, if doing evil and pay not attention to the Load, fast is meaningless.

The Load reminded the Israelite what their forefather did evil things, so made their pleasant land desolate. It is their own sin. The Load is true Justice.

How?

Listen and obey the words of the Load is more important than fast.

I have the honor of the Load with me, no proud but the spirit of the Load

Zechariah 6:1-15

Vision: 4 Chariots coming out from between 2 mountains- bronze mountain, first chariot had red horses, the second one black, the third on white, and the fourth dappled- all them powerful.

These are the 4 spirits(winds) of heaven. They went through the earth. Black went to north, white went to west or follow after them, the one with dapple horses toward the south.

Look, toward the north country have given my spirit rest in the land of the north.

Crown for Joshua, and the Load almighty said "Here is the man whose name is the Branch, and he will branch out from his place and build the temple of the Load and he will be clothed with majesty and will sit and rule on his throne. And he will be a priest on his throne. And these will be harmony between the two.

Those who are far away will come and you will know that the Load Almighty has sent me to you.

Branch: a messianic title. Here is prophet the coming Jesus. He is the king and priest.

Far away will come- from far east 3 wisdom kings came to worship Jesus.

Why?

This is the last vision recalled the first, though that was of riders not charioteer.

Four winds: The nations have been judged.

Now God's spirit is at rest- in contrast to 1:15- and there will be peace on north.

The crown is given on the head of Joshua, then on the head of Zerubbabel. (As in chapter 4's vision)
How?

The work of the Load be done as if impossible, but for almighty God, who can do it, then we will know is God let it be done. What Load Almighty said will be done.

The servant of the Load with crown, is honor from the Load, I am the servant of the Load, so I should have the honor of the Load with me. It is not the proud but the spirit of the Load.

Jesus cleans our sin, it is according to His grace

Zechariah 5:1-11

Vision:The Flying scroll: it is the curse; every thief and who swears falsely by God's name will be banished, include his house.

Vision: measuring basket; It is the iniquity of the people throughout the land; There is a woman st in the basket, and cover of lead was raised , he cover down over its mouth. 2 flying woman with wings taking the basket to the country of Babylonia(Hebrew Shinar)

The 7th and 3th commandments, God's word carries with it the power of punishment.

Basket like those for measuring grain, in which all this wickedness is contained. God's angle ensured that no evil can escape. All of it is carried off on strong wings, far away to the east; to Babylon, the land of the exile. The clean is complete.

Why?

Wickedness, an all-inclusive word, is feminine in Hebrew: hence the figure of a woman.

The wind in the women's wings be read as 'Spirit'(same word in Hebrew).

Emphasizing the cleaning is God's work.

Shinar is the place where human being were against God first time.

Measuring Basket is the biggest measuring unit, about 22kg, means the wickedness are very big.

Lead cover: cut off the evil

Angle pushed her back into the basket, she(the evil can't escape away)

How?

Clean the holy place of Jerusalem. Sins as thief and swears falsely by God's name in Jerusalem.

Thief steal the treasure of the Load or someone else: Greed, False teaching and swearing. Be careful God will count on every evil thing.

To be Holy is my life's meaning. After be clean by blood of Jesus, we should care about this precious life for us. Clean our sin is according to Go'd grace, no by our behavior.

Follow the way from Holy Spirit to serve God

Zechariah 4:1-4

The angle who talked with Zechariah and wakened he, as a man is wakened from his sleep. Saw this vision is under clear condition. Asked him "What do you see?"

Vision: a solid gold lampstand with a bowl t the top and 7 lights on it. There are 2 olive trees by it, one one the right of the bowl and the other o its left.

Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit.

What are you, O mighty mountain? Who despises that day of small things?

The word f the Load : The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it, Then you will know that the Load Almighty has sent me to you.

The 7 (eyes of the stone) is the eyes of the Load, which range throughout the earth. Original scripture haven't eyes, it might be the 7 lights.

2 olive trees are 2 anointed to serve the load of all the earth.

Why?

The lampstand stands for the Temple and faithful Jewish worshipers. Like a city set on the hill, their light shines out for God and cannot be hid.

Two anointed are the priest and the prince (king) go together here. Jesus as fulfillment of this priest-king ideal. Priest Joshua and province chief Zerubbabel.

Zerubbabel was the heir to David's throne, but he is not called king.

This vision shown the coming Jesus will be the light of GOD, cannot be hid. Holy Spirit will come after Jesus, Spirit can do mighty things.

Don't despise the day of small things. It remind us that is important to all human being. About the salvation, the everlasting life.

Mighty mountain can do anything, even it looks so huge, only Holy Spirit can do mighty things.

This temple is smaller than previous one, but it was the work from the Load.

How?

I need to care about the small things, it might be the work of the Load.

Depend on the Holy Spirit to serve God. Follow the way from Spirit to serve the Load.

We are burning stick snatched from the fire

Zechariah 3:1-10

The Load rebuked Satan, is this man, the high priest Joshua, a burning stick snatched from the fire.

The Load clean garments for the high priest.

If you walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.

As a token of good things to come God speaks of his servant, the Branch from the family of David( The coming Messiah)

The stone set in front of Joshua, there are seven eyes on that one stone, God will engrave an inscription on it.

In that day each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and fig tree. It is means peace and prosperity.

Those word are said to Zechariah and his associates- men symbolic of things to come.

Joshua: represent the people,

Satan, a accuser , charges against them.

Joshua's filthy clothes are sin-stained.

The Seven eyes: 7 facets may make it all-seeing, all-knowing. It may be a building-stone, or a jewel engraved with some symbolic meaning.

Why?

The Load, who has chosen Jerusalem, clean the sin and salvation to us. Jesus will coming and clean our sin and sin in this land in one day.

Satan are accuse sin of people, but God is loving his people. The necessary we have to do is walk in his ways and keep His requirements.

How?

To be a good servant in house of God, is walk in his ways and keep His requirements.

All of the visions of Zechariah have seen are meaning of God's extra love. We have to appreciate it and it is precious love.

We are burning stick snatched from the fire, we are sinner should put to dead, but for God's love we can living here.

Be still before the load, but not be quiet

Zechariah 2:1-13

Vision: a man with a measuring line in his hand. He was going to measure size of Jerusalem.

The Load will be a wall of fire around Jerusalem, God's glory will be within.

Then you will know that the Load almighty has sent me: 1)Their slave will plunder them. 2)Many nations will be joined with the Load in that day and will become my people. I will live among you.

Be still before the Load, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

Why?

Jerusalem has be destroyed at that time. God will protect Jerusalem, it is portion of the Load. it will be holy land of the Load.

God let Zechariah to tell the young man of His people, come back to Jerusalem, come back to the Load, the glory of the load will come back, God will live among them.

Be still before the Load, don't panic, don't worry, God will do great jobs, new things

I will know that Load almighty has sent me: sent angle to help us, doing the miracle.

How?

Be still before the Load, the Load almighty will do miracle for me. And I know it is He done for me. Solved my problems this week in my research work.

Be still but it is not be quiet. I like to tell young men about the vision & good news of the Load.

Zechariah 1:1-21

Same time s the prophet Haggai

The 8 month of second year of Darius, Darius king of Persia, let the work on the house of God in Jerusalem came to continue.

Return to me, declares the Load almighty, and I will return to you.

1) The Load Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.

24 day of 11th month, in the second year of Darius. 15 February 519BC

2)4 horse men, The man among the myrtle trees said: I will return to Jerusalem with my mercy, and there my house will be rebuilt. My house will again overflow with property, nd the Load will again comfort Zion and choose Jerusalem.

3)Four Horns, 4 craftsmen: These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel and Jerusalem. but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down their horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people

Why?

After 70 years rest of Jerusalem, the Load has said, people will return to Jerusalem. Mercy of God comes back to Jerusalem.

God's words come true and this is the town of the Load.

The significance of the colours is now lost.

4 indicates completeness- four corners of the earth. Their power will be smashed by 4 workmen: smiths.

How?

God loves his people which he chose. return to me then I will return to you.

I have to repent to the Load everyday. For I am living in the sinned world.
