God is concerned with the whole of life

Hebrews 13:1-25
God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence,"The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Through Jesus, therefore, let us us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess his name.
Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
God is concerned with the whole of life - the use of the home; response to the nee of others; marriage; use of money.
Love shows itself in practical living.
Follow the good example of those who have gone before - for Christ does not change. Live, not by the rule-book, but by drawing on the inner strength which God provides.
Not the old order but the new. Not the old sacrifices, but Jesus.
Not permanent home on earth, but a city yet to come.
Do good and help one another. Follow your leaders,
The writer closes with a deeply moving prayer an blessing.
Why?
For Jesus has died for us let offer to God a sacrifice of praise.
How wonderful and great that God never forsake us, so I am not afraid, what man can do to me? Obey the commandment of the Lord, blessing from the Lord will be with us.
God is concerned with the whole of life, so let us do the best to honor his name.
How?
Praise God and confess his Holy name for ever.

Strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet

Hebrews 12:1-29
Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfect of our faith.
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons.
Strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disables, but rather healed.
Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptable with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire."
Consider Christ - the ultimate example of faith: its pioneer and perfecter. He id not give up when he faced the cross. Fix your eyes on him.
Why?
This discipline is like an athlete's training. The pain is short-term: the reward, lasting. So brace the trembling limbs, and keep going!
We have come to God by a better way than the terrors of Sinai, the writer says, and he sets out the glories of heaven for us to see.
Warning: There is no escape for those who refuse him : they will find him 'a consuming fire.'
Make level paths for your feet, which not only good to me but also may help other lamb can walk on it, follow us on the right way. Let us be an example of righteousness.
Everyone has been marked out by the Lord, so let us run with perseverance and strengthen our weak knees.
How?
Fix our eyes on God, Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Since the reward is great last.

Made strong out of weakness

Hebrews 11:17~40
By the faith like Abraham offered up his only son. Jacob at end of his life, made mention of the exodus of the Israelites and gave directions concerning his bones.
Moses led people of Israel crossed the red sea...
Those who through faith conquered kingdoms, enforced justice, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, were made strong out of weakness, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.
Though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.
Why?
Those great people have to wait after Jesus Christ came, then the promise may come.
The suffering and struggling for  the faith to God will not in vain, God is faithful, God gives the better award than we can imaging.
Jesus Christ has come, we have the hope, so let us be strong and have faith in what we believed.
How?
Be a faithful Christian in this generation. Made strong out of weakness.

Acknowledge that we are strangers and exiles on the earth

Hebrew11:1~16
Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
So that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. He is the Lord.
Without faith it is impossible to pleased God.
These are died in faith, not having received the things promised, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having acknowledge that they  were strangers and exiles on the earth.
They desire a better country, a heavenly one.
Why?
There were many famous men they were faithful to the Lord, even they did not received the things promised, but they having acknowledge that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.
So all of us are strangers and exiles on the earth. What I earnest praying for, it is the matters in heaven, for where is my destination.
Prayer without faith it is impossible to pleased God.
How?
Nothing is permanent existing on the earth, all will perish, only the love and faith can leads us to the heavenly kingdom.

Jesus has won for us open access to the presence of God

Hebrews 10:19-39
Encouraging:
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkle to cleanse us from a guilty conscience a having our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess.
Let us not give up meeting together.
Warning:
How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. We are not of those who shrink back an are destroyed, but of those who believe and are save.
Why?
Jesus has won for us open access to the presence of God. 'So let us come near to God', the writer urges.
Hold firm to the hope that is ours in Christ. Go can be trust to keep his promise.
There is no sacrifice left that will save those who oppose God, despise God's Son an insult his Spirit. It is a fearsome thing to face judgment at the hands of the living God.
These are people who have suffered for their faith, who have gladly endure loss. Keep up your courage, the writer urge. Hold on, Patient endurance will be rewarded, 'Just a little while longer...'
How?
Keep up our courage with confidence, considering and persevere the suffering, so that we will be rewarded.

Sins and misdeeds are not only forgiven but forgotten through Christ

Hebrews 10:1-18
Those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins, because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
By that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
When this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. Because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
Psalm 40:6-8 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepare for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not please. Then I said,'Here I am -- it is written about me in the scroll - I have come to do your will, O God.'"
The writer continues to press home his point that the old repeated sacrifices could only remind people of their sins, not remove them. What the law could not do, Christ has one. His offering is effective for ever. No further sacrifice is needed. Sins and misdeeds are not only forgiven but forgotten.
Why?
Jesus himself made perfect of sacrifice and remove our sins once forever. New covenant replaced the first covenant. God's word will put in our hearts,  write on our minds.
The cleanse of our sins is not only forgiven but forgotten, Salvation from Jesus Christ is completed.
How?
Jesus is the Lord, Jesus is my Savior, my rock, my fortress and my hope.

Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment

Hebrews 9:15-28
Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise eternal inheritance - now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
The law requires that nearly everything be cleanse with blood, and without the shedding there is no forgiveness.
Christ has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.
Christ will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
As perfect high priest he offered himself as the perfect sacrifice - a single voluntary offering, effective for all time, setting people free from the wrongs they have done. And his death brought the terms of his will into effect.
For he went into heaven itself, to stand on our behalf in the presence of God. Sin has been remove. When he returns it will be to save.
Why?
And the very repetition of the sacrifice made its ineffectiveness all too clear. It was also limited. For sin with a high hand or deliberate, premeditated sin, there was no atonement, only punishment.
When Christ came, the whole system was reformed; a new order began.
Jesus Christ to be sacrifice like the image in heaven, but this ransom is not man made but God made, so it is more powerful and die once for eternal atonement effect.
If there is not Jesus Christ hat can be after man die and it is a destination to man.
How?
Jesus is our only savior, he is the mediator of a new covenant. Without Him no one can get into the heaven.

So we may serve the living God!

Hebrew 9:1-14
The first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary. A tabernacle was set up. They are only a matter of good and drink and various ceremonial washings - external regulations applying until the time of the new order.
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
The writer's thoughts are again back in the time of the exodus, when God made his covenant with Israel through Moses, an gave them the pattern on which to construct his Tent, the Tabernacle. Although God had chosen to live with his people, in a tent like their own, they ha no right of access to him.
The layout of the Tabernacle an the whole system of animal sacrifice emphasize God's separateness and the people's sin. The high priest, the only person allowed to enter the inner sanctuary, went in every year on the Day of Atonement. (the great Jewish day of fasting)
Why?
Compare old new covenant we can understand that old Tabernacle can not made atonement of human sins forever but every year, it is earthly sanctuary. Jesus Christ himself be the blameless lamb offered to God, cleanse our sins and conscience.
It is not ceremonial clean but clean our conscious and heart.
Old Tabernacle is prepared for people until the new one coming. Let us know the meaning between these two.
How?
How much more is the blood of Christ can cleanse our conscious, so that we may serve the living God!

God establishs a new covenant

Hebrew 8:1-13
As it is, Christ has obtained a ministry that is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, they would have been no occasion to look for a second.
Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not like the covenant that I made with their fathers on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them our of the land of Egypt.
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
A new covenant, what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
Why?
God made a new covenant which is better than the old covenant.
Christ has obtained a ministry and more excellent than the old covenant.
Their is a new covenant with new way to everyone who follows Jesus 1)put laws of God into their minds 2) write them on their hearts 3) God will be their King, so everyone can face to the Lord themselves through Jesus Christ. The Law is not only the priest can read it but to every believer.
Israelite are failed in the Law of God even they had seen his miracles in the history.
How?
God loves us so God made a new covenant to us, let people has opportunity to be free from the sin and the way of free is believing in Jesus Christ and follow him.

Jesus is a priest forever and make a better covenant

Hebrew 7:1-28
For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah, and in connection with that tribe Moses said nothing about priests. This becomes even more evident when another priest arises in the likeness of Melchizedek, who has become a priest, not on the basis of a legal requirement concerning bodily descent, but by the power of an indestructible life.
The Law made nothing perfect. but on the other hand, a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.
You are a priest forever. This makes Jesus the guarantor of a better covenant.
For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.
Why?
Writer described many evidence that Jesus is the priest forever, He is not appointed by man not by the law but by the word of oath from God.
Former priest were limited by dead, but the Jesus continues forever so he holds his priesthood permanently.
Even Jesus came later than the law, but he has an indestructible power can save us from sin and dead.
How?
Trust in Jesus is the son of God, who is the savior and hope to all believers.

Promise be confidenced from God

Hebrew6:13-20
When God made his promise to Abraham,  saying, “I will surely bless you and give you many descendants.” Abraham received what was promised.
People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf.
Why?
God made promise to Abraham, so as made oath to us through Jesus Christ, who is the high priest and pray for us beside God.
We have hope in the future and promise. Confirm our faith in Him. The God I trust.
How?
Confidence to my believe in Jesus Christ

Do not become lazy but diligence to the very end

Hebrew 6:1-12
Foundation are 1)repentance from acts that lead to death, 2)faith in God, 3)instruction about baptisms, 4)the laying on of hands the resurrection of the dead, 5)and eternal judgment.
It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tested the goodness of the word of God, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of go all over again.
God will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Do not become lazy but diligence to the very end, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
The writer is frustrated in what he wants to say because of his hearers' lack of understanding. They have got stuck at the ABC level in their faith.
This lack of progress is bad enough in itself. But it is symptomatic(徵候的) of something much more serious. They are in anger of abandoning their faith altogether. So the writer gives his sternest warning. If despite all their Christian knowledge and experience, they willfully reject their faith, they will become Christ's enemies, effectively crucifying Jesus afresh. There will then be no hope for them, for they have refused the one available means of forgiveness. This is where their thinking is leading them, though they have not yet reached the point of no return.
Why?
Writer gives his sternesr warning, warning is quickly followed by encouragement.
One who have taste the goodness of word of God is really a Christian.
Do not become lazy but diligence to the very end, what we have done for the Lord will not be in vain.
How?
Do not become lazy but diligence to the very end!

Christ is the perfect high priest appointed by God a mediator for all time

Hebrew 5:1-14
Christ is the high priest who is called by God. So Christ also is not take upon himself the glory of becoming a high priest. But God said to him, " You are my Son; today I have become your Father.: "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek."
Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.
Aaron was appointed by God as the first high priest of Israel He was the intermediary between a holy God an a sinful people, the go-between who represented each to the other.
Why?
The Jewish religion - the system these Jewish Christians were tempted to return to - still had its high priest. But in Christ, the writer says, we have a high priest who fulfills all the statutory requirements, and far more, because he has no need to atone for his own sins. He is the perfect high priest appointed by God a mediator for all time.
Jesus Christ is the high priest but but not chosen among man but in the order of Melchizedek. He is from the Lord, so he is a priest forever.
For his close relation with God and his obedience and he make perfect so Jesus can be the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him. If one who does not obey him won't have the salvation. Believe in Jesus Christ as savior is the only way to get eternal life.
How?
Jesus is the high priest forever and appointed by God, there is not question. So just trust in Him you will be saved.

God's word is active, alive, penetrating, exposing everything

Hebrew 4:12-17
The word of God is alive and active.it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
Since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
The writer has being arguing from God's word: now he steps back to consider it.  alive, active, penetrating, exposing everything to the One to whom all must be account.
The write moves on from Jesus ,as the Son of God, to Jesus, our greatest high priest. A title given him nowhere else in the New Testament.
Why?
God knows us everything, nothing can be hidden from Him, thank Jesus who knows our weakness and would not emphasizing it, so let us hold firmly to the faith.
God's word can penetrate our heart and gives us clear mind to make right decision.
How?
Confidence to what we believed and carefully listen his words.

Make every effort to enter that rest

Hebrew 4:1-11
Make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.
It still remains that some will enter that rest, an those who formerly had the gospel preached to them did not go in, because of their disobedience.
Psalm 95:7,8 "So I declared on oath in my anger, 'they shall never enter my rest.'"
The parallel is made more explicit. The 'rest' God spoke of was more than just a stable and secure life in the land he had promised. Through the psalmist, hundreds of years after Joshua's day.
God was still appealing to people to enter his rest. There is a spiritual counterpart to the promise land, and the passport to it is faith.
Why?
God's resting-place has existed from the time of the creation. It is still there. We enter into that eternal rest, God's peace, as we trust him and take him at his word.
Enter the rest is the peace of God, and the rest place is located in heaven one day we will enter with eternal life.
How?
Make every effort to enter the rest. Faith is gained after many testify, hold on it!

Do not harden your heart and encourage one another daily

Hebrew 3:7-19
Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion during the time of testing in the desert.
But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.
We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly till the end the confidence we had at first.
This whole passage is rooted in the Greek version of Psalm 95:7-11
Those to whom this letter is addressed are in a very similar position to Israel at the time of the exodus. Both have seen God at work in an amazing way. But despite this the Israelites rebelled against God in the desert. "They did not believe' - and so a whole generation forfeited沒收 their right to enter the promised land and enjoy the rest God would have given them.
Why?
Do not harden your heart, should encourage on another daily, in case of being hardened by sin's deceitfulness. Bribe, sexuality, power, etc.
Hold on the confidence we had at first till the end, then we have come to share in Christ in his brotherhood and the relation with the Lord.
Be warning. What happened then can happen now, if those who hear God' message do not accept.
How?
Encourage one another daily, so that none of us may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.

To be a faithful servant to our God

Hebrew 3:1-6
He who share in the heavenly calling, fix our thoughts on Jesus, the high priest whom we confess.
Jesus was faithful to the one who appointed him as a son over God's house.
Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant.
Jesus has been found worth of greater honor than Moses, like the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.
God is the builder of everything.
We are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.
Moses made Israel into a nation. He led them out of slavery in Egypt and through the desert. He gave them God's law and their forms of worship.
No one was more revered by the Jews, and rightly so. But he could never more than God's faithful servant. Jesus is God's son.
Why?
Faithful: Honest, obey and consistent to follow word of God.
Fix our thoughts on Jesus, for he is our hope and leader.
Obey the word of Jesus is more important than laws of Moses, although the laws of Moses are right.
We are the house, but Jesus and the Lord is our builder. We are belong to Him.
So hold on to our courage and the hope.
How?
Faithful servant to our God and Jesus Christ, hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast

We are the brothers in Jesus Christ

Hebrew 2:11-18
Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus call the brothers.
He too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death - that is  the devil- free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
Abraham's descendants are higher than angels he helps.
Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.
It is 'as if the whole created order was designed on the principle that glory could be secured through suffering'(Donald Guthrie)
He is the 'pioneer', blazing the way to salvation for all who follow.
What is more, because he was one of us - like us in every way - we can be sure he is able to help us.
Why?
Jesus is the savior to all who follow him.
To be sons of God so Jesus call them brothers.
Jesus became flesh came to among us, so he can help us and has power to conquer the dead, the consequences of sin.
Does the brothers love each others? Yes, we have to love each for Jesus has loved us first.
How?
We are the brothers in Jesus Christ.

How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation?

Hebrew 2:1-10
Warning 1:
How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.
Four reason for God in flesh 1)The son of man 2) In bringing many sons to glory, make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. 3) destroy him who holds the power of death(v 14) 4) He might make atonement for the sins of the people( v17)
The son of man you made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor and put everything under his feet.
In bringing many sons to glory , it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists.
Why?
If the message of the angels - that is the law of Moses - proved true, how much more important is the Son's message of salvation.
For a little while Christ shared our human nature. Now he is crowned with glory because he willingly suffered death for our benefit, to free us from the power of death and to cleanse us of sin.
Made perfect: meaning is 'bring to completion'.The idea which underlies these verses is the notion that this word is the realm of the imperfect and that through death we enter heaven, the realm of the perfect.
This salvation is truth and important to everyone in the world. How can we escape the punish if we ignore such a great salvation ?
How?
Worship the Lord who has great mercy and love to us, let us may free from sin and enter perfect through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is much superior to all angles

Hebrew 1:4-14
Jesus he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
Many words has been described by God in the Bible. From Psalm 2:7, Samuel 7:14, 6, 1 Chron 17:13(Psalm 97:7) , Deut 32:43, Psalm 104:4, 7, Psalm 45:6,7, Psalm 102:25-27, Psalm 110:1
All angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation.
You are my son; today I have become your Father. He makes his angels winds his servants flames of fire. Let all God's angels worship him.
The quotation in Hebrews are from the Greek Septuagint version, which differs in some respect from out own Old Testament. The writer is in any case more taken up with the meaning than with the precise words used.
Comment and quotation are often merged, as was quite customary in his day. And if we look up the references, we find that the writer - like other New Testament writers - exercises a surprising freedom of interpretation. Some verses are filled with meaning far beyond their original context.
Why?
The angels (whom some Jews came close to worshipping) themselves worship Christ. They are spiritual beings, but no more than God's servants. The Son is far and away above them - as the scriptures prove.
Jesus Christ is the son of God. The heaven will perish, but Christ remain.
Angels worship him, so we all human being should worship Him either.
How?
Worship Jesus Christ. He is superior to all angels. Angles worship Him. Man worship Him either.

Jesus is the Lord, Jesus is son of God

Hebrews 1:1-3
Jesus had been spoken through the prophets at many times and in various ways.
But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, Jesus.
Jesus appointed hair of all things, and through whom he made the universe.
After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
The letter begins with the most amazing statement on the nature of God's Son. Jesus is not only God's complete, supreme and final revelation of himself. He is the actual embodiment of the character and glory of God: the imprint of his person; God's express image. He is the 'heir of all things', the creator and sustainer of the universe, the one who has effected God's great purpose of salvation. Through him sin has been dealt with, forgiveness made possible. His work complete, he is seated now at God's side, in the position of supreme power.
Why?
Jesus is the Lord, who did many things like God himself.
Jesus is express image of God.
Jesus has been revealed and spoken many times and various ways through prophets. so it is the truth story and real promise from the Lord Almighty.
How?
Jesus is the Lord, through Him salvation to man is completed. Jesus is son of God.

Forgive others first

Job 42:1-16
Job replied to the Lord“I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwartedYou asked, ‘Who is this that obscures my plans without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understandthings too wonderful for me to knowMy ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you. Therefore I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.
God angry with Eliphaz and his two friends, because you have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has.
So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite did what the Lord told them; and the Lord accepted Job’s prayer. After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.
V1-6 contains Job's reaction the climax of the book. Job now realizes he had been dabbling涉足 in things beyond his understanding, totally out of his depth. Before, he had gone by hearsay; now he has seen God for himself, as he longed to do.
There is now no question of putting his case; seeing God is enough. His questions remain unanswered, but he is satisfied. It is unthinkable that this God could ever let him down or act inconsistently. He can trust, where he does no understand.
Now he can accept what comes. Self-righteousness melts away. Job regrets the bitter things he has said. As he looks at God and worships, he sees himself and his problem in perspective.
V 1-6 are the high point in the story. Final passage in prose merely rounds things off. Job has been vindicated, and this must be visibly demonstrated. (There is no promise of a fairy-tale ending to every case of suffering.)
God has taken Job to task for his reaction to suffering, but his integrity is beyond question. Job's good name is as clear as his conscience. It is the three friends who have been wrong. Job's was an honest search for truth. They would not allow for truth being bigger than their understanding of it - and so they were guilty of misrepresenting God. They must obtain Job's forgiveness before God will forgive them.
Significantly, it is at the point when Job has accepted his suffering and forgiven his friends, that God reverses his fortunes. Friends, prosperity, family are all restored to him, with a long life in which to enjoy them.
God will forgive us when we forgive others all.
How?
God can do all things and things are too wonderful for me to know. Forgive others more than seventy seven times.

What folly then to claim equality with God who make them!

Job 41:1-34
Who has a claim against me that I must pay? Everything under heaven belongs to me.
Leviathan possibly is the crocodile. He looks down all that are haughty; he is king over all that are proud.
Look at the crocodile strength, their sheer untameability.((of an animal) not capable of being domesticated.)
Why?
People are utterly powerless to control them. What folly then to claim equality with God who make them!
How?
God is the Almighty, No one can question the Lord, God does not lack man anything for God who make us.

God is good

Job 40:1-24
Job answered the Lord:"I am unworthy - how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth. I spoke once, but I have no answer - twice, but I will say no more."
The Lord spoke to Job out of the storm:"Brace yourself like a man; I will question you and you shall answer me. "Would you discredit my justice? Would you condemn me to justify yourself? ..."
Look at the behemoth河馬, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox.
Look at just two of my creatures, says God - Behemoth(the hippopotamus) and Leviathan (the crocodile). Look at their strength.
Why?
Is Job God's equal, that he calls him to book, and questions his justice? (Job's wild words had brought him dangerously near the sin of Adam and Eve)
God seriously criticize Job his justice is wrong. God does not have to answer Job's questions.
How?
To be a man we only have to humble ourselves, God is always right and good, he is the sovereign Lord.

How great is our God

Job 39:1-30
The wings of the ostrich鴕鳥 flap joyfully, but they cannot compare with the pinions and feathers of the stork. She lays her eggs on the ground and lets them warm in the sand, unmindful that a foot may rush them that some wild animal may trample them. She treats her young harshly, as if they were no hers; she cares not that her labor as in vain, for God did not endow her with wisdom or give her a share of good sense. Yet when she spreads her feathers to run, she laughs at horse and rider.
Stork

Does the eagle soar翱翔 at your command and build his nest on high? He dwells on a cliff and stays there at night; a rocky crag is his stronghold. From there he seeks out his food; his eyes detect it from afar. His young ones feast on blood, and where the slain are, there is he.
What does Job know about the creatures of the wild - the lion, the goat, the wild ass and ox, the ostrich, the horse, the eagle?
Did he make them? Can he feed them, tame馴服 them - as God can?
Why?
Wild animal can live for their way which is God make them. God feed them. How can man do it?
Where the slain are, there is he: There is the cause so there is the consequence.
There is sin so who will die.
How?
How great is our God, sing praise to our God, His name above all. Age to age He stands and time is in His hands, from beginning to the end.

Do you know the laws of the heavens

Job 38:22-38
Can you ....
Do you know the laws of the heavens?
Who endowed天賦 the heart with wisdom or gave understanding to the mind?
Who provides food for the raven when its young cry out to God and wander about for lack of food?
Where was Job when God made the world, light and darkness, wind and rain, the constellations in their courses?
Why?
Many things what man can but much more man can not do it even do not understand it.
Wisdom comes from the Lord, who give understanding to our mind.
God created the world and he provides food for the all living creatures.
How?
God is the Lord, Jesus is my God and my savior.

Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?

Job 38:1-21
God answered Job out of the storm, He said:"Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?"
Who marked..., have you ... Can you...  God asked many questions to Job.
God breaks in just when Elihu has finished his list of excellent reasons why Job cannot expect an answer!
God is almighty, far and away above humanity. But he is also near, He hears, and He cares.
Job had imagined himself putting his case to God, asking his question. But imagination is not reality. It is God, no Job, who asks the questions now.
Although the succession of searching questions Job finds his opinion of himself shrinking, his concept of God expanding. His mental image of God had been altogether too small. The God who confronts him is God on a different scale altogether.
Why?
God knows everything, includes what they were debating in the world among Job and his friends.
God is great that the scale we can not image. God is Almighty, far and away above humanity. But God is also near, He hears, He cares.
How?
I love you Oh my God! You are almighty beyond what I can say. Praise be to you, Honor is yours and Glory belongs to you.

I have noting without God

Job 37:14-24
Tell us what we should say to him; we cannot draw up our case because of our darkness.
Should he be told that I want to speak? Would any man ask to be swallowed up?The Almighty is beyond our reach and exalted in power; in his justice and great righteousness, he does not oppress. Therefore, men revere him, for does he not have regard for all the wise in heart?
Why?
We are right to fear him. He pays no attention to people (like Job!) who grow too big for their boots.
We need wisdom to pray to God, and God does not have to answer us.
God is righteousness and he loves us so he won't oppress us. Man should fear God.
How?
What man is? only a fresh and living in the would short time. God loves us so we can survive. I have nothing with God!

How great is God - beyond our understanding

Job 36:24~37:13
How great is God - beyond our understanding. The number of his years is past fining out.
God's voice thunders in marvelous way; he does great things beyond our understanding.
He brings the clouds to punish men, or to water his earth and show his love.
God is great. He commands the thunder and lightning, rain and snow. He spreads out the clouds and the shining skies.
We are as nothing beside God's awesome splendour, his unassailable無懈可擊 holiness.
Why?
God is good and God is great beyond our understanding. Fear God and Love God for he loves us.
God bring rain from cloud to water his earth and to punish men, both are his way to judge the earth.
How?
Praise be to the Lord, How Majesty our God, praise his name forever!

God is mighty, but does not despise men

Job 36:1-23
God is mighty, but does not despise men; he is mighty, and firm in his purpose.
He does keep the wicked alive but gives the afflicted their rights.
If men are bound in chains held fast by cords of affliction, he tells them what they have done - that they have sinned arrogantly.
But if they do not listen, they will perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
But those who suffer he delivers in their suffering; he speaks to them in their affliction.
The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when he fetters them, they do not cry for help.
Beware of turing to evil, which you seem to prefer to affliction.
God i almighty, all-wise. He is a Teacher who uses suffering to open our ears to listen ad learn where we have gone wrong.
Job should not be longing for death, but learning his lesson.
Why?
Each suffering to those who loves God will learning in his lesson. But for godless they do not cry for help even when they are in suffering.
Prerer to affliction: choose die is choose evil but not affliction.
How?
God is good, he loves us and teaches us in every lesson.

Where is God my Maker?

Job 35:1-16
Elihu answered and said: "Do you think this to be just? Do you say, 'It is my right before God,'..."
If you have sinned what do you accomplish against him? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what do you do to him? If you are righteous, what do you give to him? Or what does he receive from your hand?
Your wickedness concerns a man like yourself, and your righteousness a son of man.
But none says, 'Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night, who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth and makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?'
Surely God does not hear an empty cry, nor does the Almighty regard it.
Elihu sees good and bad conduct as a matter between people; God remains high above, untouched by either.
Why?
People cry out to him in their need. But they are concerned for their own skins, not for him. This is why he does not answer.
How?
Pray to the Lord for his Almighty, for his Glory, for his Love endure forever.
I am nothing without God!
