I will save my people from your hands.

Ezekiel 13:17-23
Woe to the women who sew magic charms on all their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own?
By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live.
I am against your magic charms with which you ensnare people like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set free the people that you ensnare like birds.
I will save my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the Lord.
Unlike the false prophets, when God says something will happen, he means it - and he has the power to carry it out. There is often a conditional aspect to prophecy, even so the response of the people (in repenting, for example) may bring about a change in the way God carries out his plans.
Why?
God also again the women of Israel who sew magic charms on all their wrist and ensnare people. They ensnare the loves of people but preserve for their own.
There were not righteousness, injustice society.
But God will save his people from their hand. God will set slaved be freed. Like snared bird be free.
How?
Bring the salvation and freedom and joy to people who does not know Jesus Christ. For God is love and hope and freedom.

cover it with whitewash

Ezekiel 13:1-16
Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign Lord.
Because they lead my people astray, saying, "Peace," when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall.
I will say to you, “The wall is gone and so are those who whitewashed it, those prophets of Israel who prophesied to Jerusalem and saw visions of peace for her when there was no peace, declares the Sovereign Lord
The work of Jeremiah and Ezekiel was constantly undermined by false prophets, who told people what they wanted to hear, and claimed God's authority for their message of false hope. They were like plaster, concealing the crumbling structure of the nation, but unable to stop it falling. There were also prophetesses practising magic and holding helpless individuals in thrall.
Why?
Those prophets said lying visions and false words, so God's angry against them. For they refused said the truths and fear the Lord.
People like to hear what they like to hear, people like to hear the good news. But don't like to turn away from their sins. They put themselves above the Lord and others who says the truth.
It is because of their pride and arrogance mind.
Cover it with whitewash is false outside beauty.
How?
Be humble and fear the Lord, for God's way is the best way to me. Be careful do not proud to what I have done for it is the mercy of the Lord gave.

None of my words will be delayed any longer and will be fulfilled

Ezekiel 12:21-28
I am going to put an end to this proverb(諺語), and they will no longer quote it is Israel.
There will be not more false visions or flattering divinations(占卜) among the people of Israel. But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay.
This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.
Ezekiel's prophecy proved accurate to the last detail. Ezekiel could not see because his eyes were put out. It was as God said it would be, and within a very short space of time.
Why?
God is the sovereign Lord, God's word will be fulfilled and without delay.
There is not more false visions or flattering divinations among his people. God against these detestable thing.
To be a God's servant have to suffer many trouble and said the truth word.
How?
Follow God's word and follow God's command.

Acknowledge all their detestable practices

Ezekiel 12:1-20
God said to Ezekiel as exile symbolized living style. God have made him a sing to the Israelites.
When Israelite asked what are you doing? This what the Sovereign Lord says: This prophecy concerns the prince in Jerusalem and all the Israelites who are there.
They will know that I am the Lord, when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them through the countries. But I will spare a few of them from the sword, famine and plague, so that in the nations where they go they may acknowledge all their detestable practices.
Although most people refuse to listen, the prophet continues to make God's word known. As he puts together the bare necessities, ready for flight, and as he breaks through the mud-brick wall at night. Ezekiel is playing he part, not just of any escapee, but of King Zedekiah.
Why?
Even they were rebellion people God still let Ezekiel to play the exile living style to let Israelites know that it is the Sovereign Lord make it, let them acknowledge all their detestable practices.
But all of these understanding are stayed among the nations and scatter through the countries. They had lost their country and their land.
What I have seen, what I have listened, be care of the meaning to me from the Lord.
How?
With humble and always turn to the Lord, may the Holy Spirit  shows me the way to go.

Remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh

Ezekiel 11:14:25
Therefore say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.’
 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh. 
Then the cherubim, with the wheels beside them, spread their wings, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them. The glory of the Lord went up from within the city and stopped above the mountain east of it.
Why?
God has promised that his people will come back from the countries where they have been scattered.
God will give them an undivided heart and a new spirit in them.
Change from heart of stone to a heart of flesh. This is the changing of my heart before Christian and after. It is the work of the Holy Spirit. For such as me so hard heart man may turn to the Lord.
God's glory moved from the Temple in Jerusalem and mountain of east them lift up and away from Israel.
Jesus is next salvation came from the Lord for us.
How?
Appreciate the gift from the Lord, Jesus Christ as our savior.

This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be the meat in it

Ezekiel 11:1-13
There at the entrance of the gate were twenty-five men, and I saw among them Jaazaniah son of Azzur and Pelatiah son of Benaiah, leaders of the people. They say, ‘Haven’t our houses been recently rebuilt? This city is a pot, and we are the meat in it.’
Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: The bodies you have thrown there are the meat and this city is the pot, but I will drive you out of it.  You fear the sword, and the sword is what I will bring against you, declares the Sovereign Lord.  I will drive you out of the city and deliver you into the hands of foreigners and inflict punishment on you. You will fall by the sword, and I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord. 
This city will not be a pot for you, nor will you be the meat in it; I will execute judgment on you at the borders of Israel.  And you will know that I am the Lord, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you.
But first Ezekiel sees two men he recognizes, rulers who are advocating resistance to Babylon, despite the insistence of God's prophets that this would prove fatal. Ezekiel pronounces God's judgment, and as he speaks to his alarm. Pelatiah falls dead in confirmation of God's word.
Why?
Leader of Israel said this city is a pot, they killed many people. So the Lord said I will drive them out of it. This city will not be a pot for them, nor will them be the meat in it. God will destroy this city and the people who are doing wicked. Because they have not followed God's decrees or kept God's laws.
How?
To be a leader have to care the people life and love them. For God give is authority to help others but not to control them or killed them. God will judge us according to what we are doing.

Each of the cherubim had four faces

Ezekiel 10:1-22
God's glory departs from the Temple.
Each of the cherubim had four faces: One face was that of a cherub, the second the face of a human being, the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
Chapter 10: following the terrible slaughter which makes Ezekiel cry aloud for his people, he sees again the vision of the cherubim, the glory, the whirling wheels, that he describes in chapter 1. What greater contrast imaginable than this sight of God in all his glory - and the loathsome scenes of idolatry in his Temple. This is why God's presence will be withdrawn, leaving the Temple an empty shell and Jerusalem without its heart and soul.
Why?
God's grloty leave away from Temple, there is an empty temple, a building only. There were not God's spirit and soul and heart in it.
Church with Spirit is God's church, without the Spriti is a building only.
Cherubim are described in the Bible as having four faces: a face of an ox, a lion, an eagle and a man. Christopher shows through historical evidence how these faces depict different aspects of a king's power, majesty, and intelligence. He then concludes by providing an application of what cherubim can teach us about the character of God.
, "The first living creature was like a lion," symbolizing His effectual working, His leadership, and royal power; the second [living creature] was like a calf, signifying [His] sacrificial and sacerdotal order; but "the third had, as it were, the face as of a man," -- an evident description of His advent as a human being; "the fourth was like a flying eagle," pointing out the gift of the Spirit hovering with His wings over the Church. 
How?
Give honor to the Lord Almighty, Praise his Holy name, and humble myself, all my blessing are mercy of the Lord.

Begin at my sanctuary

Ezekiel 9:1-11
Then the Lord called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side  and said to him,“Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it.” 
Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion. Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children,  but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.”
Contrary to popular belief, God both sees and judges. Only those who grieve for the loss of the true faith will be spared.
But God spared the people who were lam and grieve over all the detestable things that are done in it.
So God is fair and with mercy to his people, God blessed those who kept away from detestable things.
God is righteousness and love us with mercy, God's judgment will come from the sanctuary, from the  elder and his servants - ministers, Christians.
How?
Fear the Lord and away from any detestable things. For the righteousness of the Lord.

Transported in vision to Jerusalem

Ezekiel 8:1-18
In the entrance north of the gate of the altar I saw this idol of jealousy.
I saw portrayed all over the walls all kinds of crawling things and unclean animals and all the idols of Israel.
In front of them stood seventy elders of Israel, and Jaazaniah son of Shaphan was standing among them.Each had a censer in his hand, and a fragrant cloud of incense was rising.
At entrance to the temple, between the portico and the altar, were about 25 men. With their backs toward the temple of the Lord and their faces toward the east, they were bowing down to the sun in the east.
Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a trivial(不重要的) matter for the people of Judah to do the detestable things they are doing here?
In September 592 God comes to Ezekiel a second time. He is transported in vision to Jerusalem, and set down beside the Temple. What he sees may be actual practises, or the description may be symbolic. Either way the meaning is plain. There has been a total departure from the true religion of Israel. Asherah/Astarte(the image of jealousy 3) has been set up in God's Temple. The nation's leaders are secretly practising animal worship. The women are mourning the Sumerian god Tammuz, who was supposed to die with the old year and rise again with the spring. Men turn their backs on God to worship the sun.
Why?
God let Ezekiel saw the truth sins of Judah in Jerusalem in vision.
Almost all Israelite from priests to men and women were worship the idols, they didn't trust in the Lord for their enemies attacked them. All of them lost their faith to the Lord.
The problem is they forget because they forsake the Lord so God forsake them.
How?
God knows everything what we are doing, trust in the Lord God won't forsake us. God is good forever.

Then they will know that I am the Lord

Ezekiel 7:14-27
They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd. Outside is the sword; inside are plague and famine. Those in the country will die by the sword; those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague.
Prepare chains! For the land is full of bloodshed, and the city is full of violence. I will bring the most wicked of nations to take possession of their houses. I will put an end to the pride of the mighty, and their sanctuaries will be desecrated.
They will go searching for a vision from the prophet, priestly instruction in the law will cease, the counsel of the elders will come to an end.
I will deal with them according to their conduct, and by their own standards I will judge them. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
Shaven heads were a sign of disgrace as well as of mourning.
Why?
The punishment and destruction were whole direction, both inside and outside, the city was surrounded by enemies. What they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle. How sad those people, for God's wrath against them, their is no way escape from the hand of the Lord.
They had gold and silver but could not deliver them out of it.
For their land full of bloodshed and violence, so God has not pity on them.
God waned let them know that I am the Lord through this terrify way.
People have to shed their life to compensate innocent people's life is punishment, so as Jesus shed his blood as ransom for our life is grace.
How?
Be acknowledged God is my Lord. Jesus is my savior.

The end is coming

Ezekiel 7:1-13
End! The end has come to the land.
Disaster! An unheard of disaster is coming.
I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practises.
The seller will not recover the land he has sole as long gas both of them live, for the vision concerning the whole crowd will not be reversed. Because of their sins, not one of them will preserve his life.
The seller grieve: because he has been forced to sell the land which was his heritage.
Why?
The Lord is announced the vision of the End on the land of Israel.
It is truth to the land, but it seems people were not care about it.
God's word is the truth and the life. Follow God's word is live, disobey it is dead.
End comes with disaster, horrible like Jesus told us the end will come in the time of God. Return and turn to the Lord, repent to our sins and accept the Jesus Christ as our savior, then we will be saved at the Day.
Everyone will face the judge by our conducts and our practises.
How?
God is the Lord, who knows what we are doing, so turn to the Lord and listen to his word! 

Doom for the mountains of Israel

Ezekiel 6:1-14
Wherever you live, the towns will be laid waste and the high places demolished, so that your altars will be laid waste and devastated, your idols smashed and ruined, your incense altars broken down, and what you have made wiped out. Your people will fall slain among you, and you will know that I am the Lord.
And they will know that I am the Lord; I did not threaten in vain to bring this calamity on them.
This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Strike your hands together and stamp your feet and cry out “Alas!” because of all the wicked and detestable practises of the people of Israel, for they will fall by the sword, famine and plague.
And I will stretch out my hand against them and make the land a desolate waste from the desert to Diblah—wherever they live. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
The acted message us reinforced by the spoken word. The people's flagrant idolatry is about to bring destruction upon them judgment from which there is no escape. Then they will know that the Lord is God indeed. Terrible, total calamity is be falling the land.
Why?
People are easy forget the grace of the Lord and even warning from the word they believed they can make it so they are doing the same things same wicked matter the make their own idols. Until all of their idols, altars are broken down, there is no way to go then they come to the Lord if God have mercy on them.
All of the mountain are beauty but Israelite make altar and idols on the hills, so God let sword and demolish come upon their land. totally calamity is be falling the land.
How?
Listen to the word of the Lord and humble myself, meditate the word of God in my heart, get away form any evil things.

Therefore I myself am against you

Ezekiel 5:1-17
This is what the Sovereign Lord says: This is Jerusalem, which I have set in the center of the nations, with countries all around her. Yet in her wickedness she has rebelled against my laws and decrees more than the nations and countries around her. She has rejected my laws and has not followed my decrees.
Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself am against you, Jerusalem, and I will inflict punishment on you in the sight of the nations.
Therefore in your midst parents will eat their children, and children will eat their parents. I will inflict punishment on you and will scatter all your survivors to the winds.
Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your vile images and detestable practises, I myself will shave you; I will not look on you with pity or spare you. 
A third of your people will die of the plague or perish by famine inside you; a third will fall by the sword outside your walls; and a third I will scatter to the winds and pursue with drawn sword.
They watch him shave his head, sharing Jerusalem's disgrace. They see him burn the hair and toss it away, till only a tiny hair handful - representing the exiles themselves - remains. It is an awesome lesson.
Why?
Because of Israelite rebelled against God's laws and decrees more than other nations, therefore there were many disgrace and disaster come upon them.
God's punishment are terrible and awesome lesson.
How?
Fear the Lord and aware the way I am walking is on the word of the Lord.

Siege of Jerusalem symbolized

Ezekiel 4:1-17
Siege of Jerusalem symbolized.
Then take an iron pan, place it as an iron wall between you and the city and turn your face toward it. It will be under siege, and you shall besiege it. This will be a sign to the people of Israel.
“Then lie on your left side and put the sin of the people of Israel upon yourself. You are to bear their sin for the number of days you lie on your side. I have assigned you the same number of days as the years of their sin. So for 390 days you will bear the sin of the people of Israel.
After you have finished this, lie down again, this time on your right side, and bear the sin of the people of Judah. I have assigned you 40 days, a day for each year. Turn your face toward the siege of Jerusalem and with bared arm prophesy against her.
Take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them in a storage jar and use them to make bread for yourself. You are to eat it during the 390 days you lie on your side.
The props for the drama are ready to hand: a large sun-dried brick on which Ezekiel draws an outline of the city; and the metal plate on which they bake their flat loaves of bread. We are in the realm of symbol, as so often in this book.
The people watch and get the message. With growing horror they see him weigh out his message measure of mixed grain and eke out(掏出來) his water ration(配給). They see the prophet wasting away, as the population of Jerusalem will do under siege.
Why?
Ezekiel live out the living style of Jerusalem people, to people of Israel how they will be under siege in their land.
It is very hard job to transfer this message to Israelite, lie down on one side 390 days, and eat the same food 390 days. No one can bear this living style. So as to symbolized the people of Jerusalem.
Because they have to bear their own sins, but prophet have to bear this hard work first.
To be a prophet of the Lord is a heavy mission, if their is no the grace and Spirit with us no one can do it.
How?
Remember the grace of the Lord and let the history of Jerusalem be our reminder and warning message. Follow God's word and give honor to the Lord!

Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse

Ezekiel 3:16-27
Son of man I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me.
I will make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth so that you will be silent and unable to rebuke them, for they are a rebellious people. But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them, 'This is what the Sovereign Lord says,' "Whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse; for they are a rebellious people."
They will learn it first through the terrors of judgment. Afterward they will see his power to restore and renew.
The meaning seems to be that Ezekiel would be dumb except on the occasion when God had a message for him to give. Was he forbidden to speak or did he actually lose the power of speech? Either way, the utterance he did make had added. Not until news reached of the fall of Jerusalem did  he speak normally again.
Why?
Ezekiel was assigned to be a watchman for the people of Israel. His mission is warning his people, if he did God will not hold him accountable for their blood. All of of the Christan has the mission to tell or warning others away from the sins.
Preach gospel is not pressure for whoever will listen let them listen, and whoever will refuse let them refuse.
How?
Don't forget the mission I am in this world to deliver gospel to other and do good witness among people.

Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them

Ezekiel 3:1:15
Son of man, go now to the people of Israel and speak my words to them. But the people of Israel are not willing to listen to you because they are not willing to listen to me, for all the Israelites are hardened and obstinate. But I will make you as unyielding and hardened as they are.
Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.
The Spirit then lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness and in the anger of my spirit, with the strong hand of the Lord on me.  I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Aviv near the Kebar River. And there, where they were living, I sat among them for seven days—deeply distressed.
From this point on it will be Ezekiel's life-mission to let God's people know that he is the Lord.
Why?
The scroll tested sweet, God's word is sweet and good to us. But people don't like to listen  becasue they are not willing to listen to God.
Exekiel felt distressed for seven days, because he knew this message will be rejected by his people.
Even knew it is hard to do, but for the command of the Lord, Ezekiel keep going on to speak God's word to his people.
How?
Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them, when God's Spirit lift me up I can say to them with Spirit. Preach God's word with strong brave and faith.

Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you

Ezekiel 2:1-10
He said to me, "Son of man, stand up on your feet and I will speak to you. As he spoke, the Spirit came into me and raised me to my feet, and  I heard him speaking to me.
Whether they listen or fail to listen - for they are a rebellious people - they will know that a prophet has been among them. And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.
The purpose of God's coming is to make Ezekiel his messenger to the exiles. the watchman sent to warn the remnant of God's rebel people. And the words of God, though hard, are satisfying.
Son of .man: Ezekiel is addressed in this way throughout the book. It simply means 'human being', Jesus most often used 'Son of man' to describe himself, with an intended allusion also to Daniel.
Why?
God sent Ezekiel as a prophet to preach God's word among Israelites. They were rebellious people, so when Ezekiel say to them, they will oppose Ezekiel. Sometimes it is dangerous, but God is with him.
Do not be afraid of them, the Lord encouraged Ezekiel.
The Spirit came into Ezekiel body so he can listen what God is saying and gives him strength to make it.
How?
Ask the Spirit to do the work of the Lord, let me understand and walking on it. More humble and more come close to the Lord. Yes we can come to the Lord!

The glory of the Lord

Ezekiel 1:15-28
The spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
Then there came a voice from above the vault over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.  Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. When I saw it, I fell face down, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
The Almighty, the God of Israel is present in all his power in far-flung Babylonia! Who can look on this and live?
Why?
Who can look on this and live? None. But God's mercy poured on Ezekiel, for God had word and vision let Ezekiel knew and preach God's vision and words.
God is Holy and awesome! Don't think we may see God on the world for all of us are the sinner. Except Jesus through Jesus blood no one can come to the present of the Lord!
When we see the glory we are nothing and very little, as Ezekiel fell face down.
How?

The Glory of the Lord. Ezekiel

Ezekiel 1:1-14
I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north —an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was human, but each of them had four faces and four wings. Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze. Under their wings on their four sides they had human hands. All four of them had faces and wings, and the wings of one touched the wings of another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved. Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a human being, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle. Such were their faces. They each had two wings spreading out upward, each wing touching that of the creature on either side; and each had two other wings covering its body. Each one went straight ahead. Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went. The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Fire moved back and forth among the creatures; it was bright, and lightning flashed out of it. The creatures sped back and forth like flashes of lightning.
As Ezekiel gazed out over the Babylonian plains, he sees what looks like an approaching storm: thunder, lightning, black clouds. Then he makes out the figures of four cherubim, angelic creatures, standing wing-tip to wing-tip, forming a hollow square. At the center, fire glows; and above, under the blue vault of the heavens is the Lord of glory in human form, seated on a throne, blue vault of the heavens, is the Lord of glory in human form, seated on a throne, encircled by a dazzling rainbow. Beside each four-faced cherub is a terrifying, whirling wheel, moving like a Castor and full of eyes.
Why?
Ezekiel looked the glory of the Lord, he is like fire, like human seate on the throne. There are four Cherubim beside Him.
God is glory and above all in all.
Cherubim go follow the Holy Spirit.
How?
Follow the way leading by Holy Spirit.

Inheritance of Zelophehad’s daughters

Numbers 36:1-13
Then at the Lord’s command Moses gave this order to the Israelites: “What the tribe of the descendants of Joseph is saying is right. This is what the Lord commands for Zelophehad’s daughters: They may marry anyone they please as long as they marry within their father’s tribal clan. No inheritance in Israel is to pass from one tribe to another, for every Israelite shall keep the tribal inheritance of their ancestors.  Every daughter who inherits land in any Israelite tribe must marry someone in her father’s tribal clan, so that every Israelite will possess the inheritance of their ancestors.  No inheritance may pass from one tribe to another, for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits.”
Zelophehad’s daughters—Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milkah and Noah—married their cousins on their father’s side. They married within the clans of the descendants of Manasseh son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in their father’s tribe and clan.
Why? 
Israelite follow the word of Moses let Zelophehad’s daughters may get the land by lot and have the inheritance for themselves.
The spirit is that for each Israelite tribe is to keep the land it inherits.
Keep the tribal inheritance of their ancestors, another spirit is keep the faith to the Lord as their ancestors. It is the Lord lead Israelite out from Egypt, the slave, to the promised land, to be free.
How?
Keep the faith to the Lord for God loves us. Let this faith being kept in my inheritance.

Do not pollute the land where you are

Numbers 35:9-34
Person is a murderer the murderer is to be put to death. The anger of blood shall put the murderer to death when the meet.
They will be places of refuge from the avenger, so that anyone accused of murder may not die before they stand trial before the assembly.
This is to have the force of law for you throughout the generations to come, wherever you live. Anyone who kills a person is to be put to death as a murderer only on the testimony of witnesses. But no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.
Do not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer, who deserves to die. They are to be put to death.
Do not pollute the land where you are. Bloodshed pollutes the land, and atonement cannot be made for the land on which blood has been shed.
Why?
The Lord care about the judgment and righteous on the world.
The murder is to be put to death. And keep the land clean and holy where they are live.
God made a law to all the social event, no one can be put to death before the stand trial before the assembly, could not be put to death on the testimony of only on witness. For there are revenge or hate or some personal reason.
God is holy so we have to be live holy, without any ransom for the murderer.
How?
God is holy, so we all Christian should be walk on the right way and do the righteousness and love each other. Do not pollute the land where you are.

Town for the Levites and refuge

Numbers 35:1-8
Towns for the Levites.
Cities of Refuge. Siz towns you give the Levites will be cities of refuge, to which a person who has killed someone may flee. In addition, give them 42 other towns. In all you give the Levites 48 towns, together with their pastureland.
Why?
God has arranged many towns for Levites and for the refuge men. For they are innocent and careless killed someone else. They may have save places.
Jesus Christ is our refuge, Jesus rescue us from God’s angry for our sins.
God’s plan always is good and perfect. God has nice plan for his children.
How?
Obey the word of God and follow God’s command, then there is blessing and increase fortune come with us.

Boundary of promised land

Numbers 34:1-29
Boundary of Canaan.

The Lord said to Moses,  “Command the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance is to have these boundaries:
The Lord said to Moses,  “These are the names of the men who are to assign the land for you as an inheritance: Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun.
Why?
Before Israelite enter the promised land, God has arranged the boundary of the land they will have. Set the boundary of the promised land, but this land was almost never reached in the history of Israel, except in King Solomon.
For the Israelite lost faith and did not follow the word of the Lord.
How?
God wanted us follow and obey his command and honor God's holy name with all my heart, all my strength and all my mind.

But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land

Numbers 33:40-56
They left the mountains of Abarim and camped on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.  There on the plains of Moab they camped along the Jordan from Beth Jeshimoth to Abel Shittim.
But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs(倒鉤) in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live.  And then I will do to you what I plan to do to them.
Why?
Here record the last stay point of Israelite, they camp near Jericho. ready to fight.
God warned to Israelite before they entered the Canaan, they mist drive out all the inhabitants of the and, destroy all their carved images and their cast idols, and demolish all their high places.
If they didn't do it, God will do to them what God plan to do to Canaanite.
How?
Listen to the word of God, love each other and honor the holy name of the Lord.

Obey God's word is the way of life

Numbers 33:1-39
On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho the Lord said to Moses,  “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you cross the Jordan into Canaan,  drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you. Destroy all their carved images and their cast idols, and demolish all their high places.  Take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.  Distribute the land by lot,according to your clans. To a larger group give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group a smaller one. Whatever falls to them by lot will be theirs. Distribute it according to your ancestral tribes.
“‘But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will give you trouble in the land where you will live.  And then I will do to you what I plan to do to them.’”
This chapter is a resume of the whole journey, from Egypt to the plains of Moab. Forty camping places are listed, most of them now unknown.
Why?
Moses record the journey of Israelite came out from Egypt to Canaan, let the inheritance may remember where their ancestor had been.
The had said to them what they have to do to the people and images and idols in Canaan, but finally they kept some of them. The consequence of did not obey God's word is clear.
How?
God's word is the law and is the blessing to his people. Obey God's word and follow Jesus is the way of life.
