Preach the kingdom of God

Luke 9:1-17
Preach the kingdom of God: Jesus and his disciples went out to do it with the power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases.
Herod heard about all that was going on, and he was perplexed, because some were saying that John had been raised from the dead, other said that Elijah had appeared.
Jesus feeds he five thousand people in remote place. Because he loves them. He cared about their needed. Jesus has the power to make very little food to a lot of food.
The feeding is a miracle and a 'sign' which indicates Jesus' true identity. It may also anticipate the Messiah's banquet-feast with his people.
Why?
Jesus let his disciples go out without anything, for they may live through preach the gospel. It is good to anyone, service people, people should support them.
Herod feared to hear information about Jesus, because he killed John. Jesus did much more than John.
Jesus always preaches the kingdom of God, this is the main purpose of his coming to this world. His miracles are indicate he is came from God.
How?
Feeding and cure diseases are temporary matter and signs of the gospel, the most important is how to enter the kingdom of God.

Jesus loves us. Be strong with faith

Luke 8:26-56
The destination of the demons is bring possessed man to dead.
People in Gerasenes understood how the demon-possessed man had been cured they asked Jesus to leave them, because they were overcome with fear.
Jesus said to the man from who the demons had gone out return home and tell how much God has done for you.
Sick woman came up behind Jesus and touched the edge of his cloak and immediately her bleeding stopped. Jesus said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you, Go in peace."
Don't be afraid; just believe and she will be healed, Jesus said to Jairus.
Stop wailing Jesus said, "She is not dead but sleep."
Jesus took her hand and said "My child, get up!", Her spirit returned and, and at once she stood up.
Why?
Port was forbidden food for Jews. But the country east of the lake was largely non-Jewish.
Luke as so often notes the effect of the miracle on those around - "Her parents were astonished, but he ordered them not to tell anyone what had happened."
All believers dead in this world is sleep in eyes of God and to the believers.
Everyone should tell how much God had done for me.
The bleeding woman has enough faith, so her sick be healed.
People in Gerasenes lost the blessing from Jesus, because they were overcome with fear. Fear the Lord and love the Lord is blessing for God loves us.
How?
How much my faith have? Jesus is the Lord, Jesus helps us, save us. Be strong and listen to the Lord carefully.

Testing of faith to listener of gospel

Luke 8:1-25
Only Luke tells us the part the women payed in Jesus' mission.
Jesus said to his disciples,"The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables."
The devil, testing, life's worries, riches and pleasures will affect the faith of listener of gospel.
Parables: though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear: preaching good news to everyone who has ears.
Lamp on a stand: Consider carefully how you listen. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does no have, even what he thinks he has will be taken from him. The Lord knows heart of everyone, people will know what you have listen from your behavior.
Why?
Jesus said many parables in Mark to describe the kingdom of God.
Gospel listener need prepare their heart, otherwise, what he has listened will be lost and fell.
Faith needs be tested through testing from evil(our desire), environment challenges(money, position, living. etc). Only rely on the Lord can gain from the faith.
Jesus' message is prepare to those who been chosen by the Lord. But we do not know who were chosen.
What we have listened we will react it in our behavior, so everyone will see it. Nothing is hidden and nothing concealed that will not be know or brought out into the open.
How?
How about my faith to the Lord? does the worries of living choke my heart? Praise the Lord I know that the Lord is with me, no matter where I am. I have experience the help of the Lord many many times in my life.

He who has been forgiven little loves little

Luke 7:31-50
God's wisdom, however, is shown to be true by all who accept it.
People turned to God in response to the preaching of both John and Jesus.
They have many reasons to reject the Jesus when they don't accept the truth.
Jesus knew this woman is a sinner, because she loved Jesus much, so her sin has been forgiven. She turned to Jesus with tear, kiss and put oil on Jesus' head.
He who has been forgiven little loves little.
Simon shows Jesus no special courtesy. But a common prostitute, to whom she has opened up the possibility of forgiveness, pours out her gratitude in lavish love, not caring what anyone thinks.
Jesus reads Simon's thoughts and takes them up in his story. The woman's love does not earn forgiveness, it follows it.
Jesus said to her,"Your sins are forgiven, your faith has saved you; go in peace."
Why?
Jesus came to this world for the sinners, no matter how much sin has, one who loves Jesus and repent to his sin, his sins will be forgiven. This is the mercy of God.
Open up the possibility of forgiveness to Jesus, God will pour out mercy to us.
Jesus is God so he forgives sins.
How?
Keep preaching the gospel to anyone we don't know who accept it. Unbelievers always have many reasons. Our faith to the Lord is more important. He who has been forgiven much loves much.

The Faith of the Centurion to Jesus

Luke 7:1-30
God created all in this world, so He knows what is going on, He has the ability to repair anyone He created.
The Faith of the Centurion is greater than anyone in Israel. He believed the words of Jesus has power to heal his servant.
Jesus has pity on the widow's son in Nain, Jesus let this young man raises from dead. The crowd were filled with awe and praised God.
Jesus brings the story in at this point in relation to the report back to John.
John was questioned about the identity of Jesus. 'Are you the one who was to come?' Jesus said "The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me."
John is more than a prophet. No one greater than John; yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.
Why?
Have faith to God, the prayer is delight to the Lord.
Jesus is the savior, the Messiah. Only the one comes from God has done these 7 missions.
Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of Jesus. Trust in Jesus is the blessed one. Jesus not only help us, but save us.
How about my faith? Does my faith much more as the Centurion?
How?
Jesus is the Lord who comes to save us from the sins. May the Holy Spirit blesses me have enough faith in Jesus!

What measure you use? Why do you call me, Lord?

Luke 6:37-49
With the measure you use, it will be measured to you. So 1)do not judge, 2)do not condemn, 3)forgive, 4)give.
Each tree is recognized by it own fruit. Good man brings good thing out of the good stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.
Why do you call me,'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?
One who hears Jesus words and puts them into practice like wise builder, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock.
Why?
The moment the torrent means the stress or suffering comes, the faith will lost in his heart.
The safe course is to act on Christ's teaching: a house built on rock can stand the storm.
The measure is the standard in our heart to see others. So don't judge and condemn, but do forgive and give to others. All is based with true love.
People's heart and life can be recognized from his mouth speaks and behavior.
Many come to church listen and worship the Lord, but don't do the teaching when they go out of church. Reading the bible for whom? It should be for our self.
How?
Carefully read the bible, listen to the words of the Lord and check myself, then put it into practice.

Be merciful and The law of love

Luke 6:20-38
Jesus said about the four blessings and the four woes in the kingdom of God.
What is the literally poor and hungry and sad and hated on account of the Son of Man.
Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
Give to everyone who asks you.
Do to others as you would have them do to you. -- The law of love.
Love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great in heaven.
Be merciful,  just as your Father is merciful.
Why?
The love of God is great to us, so as Jesus follower shall do good as Jesus did for us.
Be merciful, treat the unloved one, even the enemies. Give to others and gain more.
Yes, do to others as I would have others do to me. Sometime very little help from  a stranger is very precious to me for we need help.
How?
Give to the needy person, be merciful to everyone. Thank for the help of my boss when I was in US.
