1 John 3:11-24
We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.
If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us. The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him,and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
The message 'heard from the very beginning' is that God's people must love one another. What does that mean? John tells us plainly: "This is how we know what love is: Chirst gave his life for us!" This love is not just talk. It expresses itself in sacrifice and self-giving. And it will touch our pockets! If our conscience is clear on this score, we can approach God with confidence. He answers the prayers of those who obey him.
God commands us to believe that the Jesus of history is in fact the Son of God, the Christ - and to love one another as Jesus commanded. Those who do so 'live in him and he in them'. We know it by his gift of the Spirit.
Why?
Love one another is not love with words or tongue, but with actions and in truth. It means will touch our pockets.
We know these from the beginning we know it by the Spirit. So when we do love it, and our conscience is clear then we know we have approached it.
How?
Love one another with actions. For Jesus laid down his life for me!

The child of God shares God's own nature
1 John 2:28-3:10
The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
Sin is lawlessness. And in him is no sin. No one who lives in him keeps on sinning.
The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.
How we know who the children of God: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.
The child of God shares God's own nature. It is against that nature - out of character - to live a life of sin, to go on breaking God's law deliberately(故意) and habitually (the tenses of the verbs in the Greek make a distinction between this and the particular 'one-off' sins referred to in 1:10).
The difference between 'God's children and the devil's children' is that 'the devil's children' do not do what is right, or love others.
Why?
The reason people do not know us is they did not know Him. Son of God appeared is to destroy the devil's work, the devil is against God from beginning.
No one can be son of God but do not do the right.

Warning against antichrist
1 John 2:18-27
Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.
They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us.
But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.
It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you.
The early Christians were taught that an arch-enemy of Christ - the embodiment(實施例) of evil - would come on the scene when the Lord's return was imminent (即將來臨).
18: the actual word 'antichrist' occurs only in John's letters, but 2 Thessalonians 2 makes the same point. John sees many Antichrists already on the scene (false teachers, once within the church, who deny that the man Jesus was the Messiah and Son of God).
These early manifestations(表現) of the Great Evil are a sign that the time is near.
John comforts his readers that they are different. They know the truth. They have God's Holy Spirit to teach them. If they stay with the message they have heard, they will stay with the Son and the Father which means eternal life.
Why?
John was worry his reader didn't know how to identify the false teacher, and what they are belong.
The kernel of our believe is the Son of God, Jesus Christ and his resurrection and the God.
Holy Spirit is within me, so we don't need others to teach us the truth. Holy Spirit will teach us what is the truth.
How?
Stand firm in what I have received from the Lord and Jesus Christ. the time is near there are many antichrist coming. Be aware of those evil things.

在前與在後的啟示
太 19：29-30；20：15-16

當孝敬父母，又當愛人如己。那少年人說：這一切我都遵守了，還缺少什麼呢？
我的東西難道不可隨我的意思用嗎？因為我作好人，你就紅了眼嗎？這樣，那在後的，將要在前；在前的，將要在後了。
前言:
你來教會這麼快樂的原因？
變聰明？成就非凡？致富？成功一族？
所求的只對一半，所以後來失落了。我要得恩典，卻不要委身
人都有一死，死後有審判！所以人會懼怕！
家庭和樂的質感！
家庭同心事奉的喜樂！
教會團隊在世代的 震撼感！
教會道路無限的 榮耀感！
在愛裏沒有懼怕的盼望！
思想：
1. 事奉一輩子？卻成為空的惆悵？［虛空］
將自己的話不講神的話！
2. 全套的敬拜與奉獻？卻得罪神？［虛假］
曠野的百姓有全套敬拜，做出不合神心意的事！
3. 熱心參與活動？神卻不認識你？［虛幻］
熱衷於活動的喜樂卻忘記活動的宗旨！

凡為我的名撇下房屋，或是弟兄、姊妹、父親、母親、兒女、田地的，必要得著百倍，並且承受永生。
有些人對於撇下父母...的話反感，認為不孝。神的意思是走要神的道路，不是按照自己的傳統道路
要使父母得榮耀，是按神的方式
身邊是否有完美女人？有，但是嫁給你以後就不完美了，因為你常挑剔！
委身的議題？／自我傳統的防衛…使我們看不見神！
2. 因為我作好人，你就紅了眼嗎？
忌妒的問題！紅了眼嗎？
天天澆水，沒有種子，所以沒有發芽，成長！不是時間長短問題，不是工作多少的問題。
管理文具，結果用量很少，違背老闆希望大家使用與工作中的效益。我們在教會也常如此，緊抓資源不用。
忌妒的潛在危機…該隱？掃羅？…門徒？…我？
3. 要努力進窄門…免得換人進入？
自我成就感！一位做偉大見證的人，問他屬於那個教會？卻說他不屬於什麼教會，屬於天國的！這是自大！
可見澆灌的，栽種的都不重要了！以利，掃羅！
揀選的失落…換別人被揀選！
挑戰：
1. 大衛與哥哥們的揀選差異性？神看內心
2. 約瑟與哥哥們的尊貴差異性？

For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.
At this point John digresses. First he speaks to the church. His 'children','fathers','young men', reflect three stages in spiritual growth or maturity.
From the church he turns to the world, which Christians must not love. What does this mean? John characterizes the world as humanity at loggerheads(相持不下) with God, self-centred, proud, acquisitive; the whole evil system. To love the world is to accept its values and attitudes. But this world is destined to end, and John says that end is near.
Why?
Think the stage of my church is stay in which position? children, young men or fathers?

Obeys his word and loves their brother and sister
1 John 2:1-11
Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.
This old command is the message you have heard. a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.
Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.
What we have Jesus - the one through whom we are forgiven - to plead our cause.
Why?
How can we be sure that we really know God? To know is to obey. So the first test is obedience. If we obey God's commands. If we live as Jesus did, we can be sure.
The second test is love. Living in God's light means keeping the old-and new command to love one another (the 'new command' Jesus gave his disciples which John knows these Christians have already been taught).
Claim and live out the truth are different matter. Many are obey in the mouth, but John taught us the we have to obey God's command, love for God is truly made complete in them.
Love is another symbol of Christian. with love people will know we are belong to the Jesus Christ. It is not the problem of Christ, but for our behavior did not show the love of Christ.
How?
Fully obey God's command and love one another in the church and love others as I can.
To know is to obey: To know the word of God and studying Bible is let us obey word of the Lord. To be a real Christian.

The word of life, first God is light ; 1 John
1 John 1:1-10
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.
We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete.
God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
John's theme is 'the Word of life'. At the beginning of his Gospel John spoke of the person who is God's Word of life: Jesus Christ, someone John actually knew, Here too he speaks of his own experience: this living embodiment(實施例) of God's Word could be seen and touched. The word is both a person and a message: the two are inseparable. John had seen God's message of eternal life in Chris, had heard it from him, and now he joyfully declares it with a confidence born of certainty.
What is this message? First, that 'God is light'.
Why?
Jesus Christ is the Lord, is the word of life. John and other apostles have seen, touched and heard him.
God is light there is not darkness, if anyone work in the darkness he is lie and do not live out the truth, same as claim to be without sin.
This is the light that generates life and dispels darkness. Anyone who claims 'fellowship' or communion with God yet lives 'in the dark' is telling a lie. But to say we never sin is equally false. If we live in the light we will recognize and confess out sins. God can be relied on to keep his promise of forgiveness and cleansing.
How?
Be joyful for God, Jesus Chris is the light and we may be forgiven from our sin when we confessed our sin.
