Genesis 29:1-35
As soon as Laban heard the news about Jacob, his sister’s son, he hurried to meet him. He embraced him and kissed him and brought him to his home, and there Jacob told him all these things. Then Laban said to him, “You are my own flesh and blood.”
After Jacob had stayed with him for a whole month, Laban said to him, “Just because you are a relative of mine, should you work for me for nothing? Tell me what your wages should be.”
Jacob was in love with Rachel and said, “I’ll work for you seven years in return for your younger daughter Rachel.”
When morning came, there was Leah! So Jacob said to Laban, “What is this you have done to me? I served you for Rachel, didn’t I? Why have you deceived me?” Laban replied, “It is not our custom here to give the younger daughter in marriage before the older one. Finish this daughter’s bridal week; then we will give you the younger one also, in return for another seven years of work.”
These three chapters cover the 20 years of Jacob's exile: 14 years' service for his two wives, six for locks of his own. The years hold little joy for Jacob, who meets a crooked dealer after his own kind in his uncle Laban. The deceit over Leah leads to intolerable home life.
Why?
Crooked man meets crooked men and worse than he does. Jacob deceived his father Isaac, but he met his uncle Laban cheated him 20 years and worked for Laban.
Even be cheated Jacob got wives and many properties.
God's blessing is coming with labor and hard works.

神的祝福臨到雅各
1.雅各祈求的是吃穿喝一切順利，雅各許的願已經順利達成，平安抵達母親娘家。其實在讓雅各有12個兒子
2.雅各棋逢對手：拉班似乎對雅各很好，其實在講條件，要娶我女兒，一定要付代價，要雅各來服侍他。其實拉班設的計謀，讓姊姊先嫁出去。用騙的最方便，雅各從頭到尾完全不知道，如同當初以撒為雅各祝福，卻完全不知道是以掃。神用同樣手法，透過拉班來管教雅各。神常用人的罪來管教人。
3.神的管教與導正修剪。真正的祝福是帶著管教，神常常也藉著我們同樣的缺點的人來管教我們。表示竟是這樣子的人
4.神祝福依永恆的計劃。
神的作為不是照人的想法，雅各喜歡拉結，卻是利亞連續生四子，且拉結不生育，管教雅各，不是按照你的意思，這是按照神的計劃。利亞的孩子的名字剛好是神的計劃，

The dream
Genesis 28:1-22
Taking one of the stones，He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. There above it stood the LORD, and he said: “I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying. Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth.

When Jacob awoke from his sleep, he thought, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I was not aware of it.” He was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God; this is the gate of heaven.”Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it. He called that place Bethel, though the city used to be called Luz.
Jacob made a vow, saying, “If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear so that I return safely to my father’s household, then the LORD will be my God.
Isaac's parting blessing, this time genuinely given, recognizes Jacob at last as the true ha=eir, recognized Jacob at last as the true heir to God's promise. Jacob leaves, and at Bethel, as darkness falls, in a moment of unutterable loneliness, God stands beside him. God repeats to this unpromising man the promise made to Abraham and Isaac, adding personal guarantee: 'I shall be with you to protect you... and I shall bring you back.' Scarcely daring to believe, Jacobs responds with a promise of his own.
Why?
God shows himself to Jacob through the dream. God said the promise to Abraham and will be done in his descendent. So Jacob will be blessed on his journey. For God's promise have to be done.
Jacob knew this is the Lord talk with him, so he make a pillar as a symbol and honor the name of the Lord.
Jacob made a vow between God and himself.

God had made a vow among us when we accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. God's promise never fail.
Be lord over your brothers, and may the sons of your mother bow down to you
Genesis 27:18-46
May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness— an abundance of grain and new wine. May nations serve you and peoples bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may the sons of your mother bow down to you. May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed.”Isaac trembled violently and said, “Who was it, then, that hunted game and brought it to me? I ate it just before you came and I blessed him—and indeed he will be blessed!”
Esau said, “Isn’t he rightly named Jacob? This is the second time he has taken advantage of me: He took my birthright, and now he’s taken my blessing!” Then he asked, “Haven’t you reserved any blessing for me?”
His father Isaac answered Esau, Your dwelling will be away from the earth’s richness, away from the dew of heaven above. You will live by the sword and you will serve your brother. But when you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck.”
Now then, my son, do what I say: Flee at once to my brother Laban in Harran. Stay with him for a while until your brother’s fury subsides. When your brother is no longer angry with you and forgets what you did to him, I’ll send word for you to come back from there. Why should I lose both of you in one day?”
Why?
Jacob got the blessing from his father Isaac by cheating and helped by his mother. For his mother loves Jacob. So she cried why should I lose both of you in one day. She urged Jacob to go away to live with his uncle Laban in Harran a while until his brother's fury subsides.
Issac's blessing became true for his two sons Jacob and Esau. their inheritances became two nations and fight each other.
This war continue many years and disaster always existing in the world until Jesus comes again to the world.
Blessing is the power to blesses one who faces his life way. Something we do not know that is under the authority of the Lord.

以撒知道神檢選了雅各，難道他不知道嗎？這不是靠人的方法可改變。應該是知道的。以撒愛以掃，因為常吃他的野味。所以想將祝福給以掃。似乎已被野味控制了。且以掃本來就是長子。為他祝福是沒有問題的。以撒因著自己的喜好，社會風俗，壓力而忽略了神的話。基督徒的作法常不和社會的期待的。
就算人不知不覺忽略神的話。以撒一直以為按照自己的期待而行。直到以掃出現。我們一直以為按照自己的計畫進行中，其實我們不知不覺中已經成就神的旨意，卻不是我所喜好的。最難的是我在4己的想法，跨越過去
利百加喜愛雅各因為常在帳篷，但是為了愛雅各卻去害以掃得不6到的祝福。那本來就是我的，為什麽要去強？那本來就是我的，神本來就要給我們的東西。我很在意別人對我們的看法。人想盡辦法要得到，結果反而得罪神。神的祝福有其時間。撒拉與亞伯拉罕也是如此與人的方法想得應許。以掃後來知道是媽媽媽的計謀，證明他不愛以掃，所以失去了以掃。雅各得到祝福，卻失去家庭，失去父母，流浪在外，後來的子女也相爭。利百加這4個家庭很聰明，各個拉班也是最後也是吃虧，嚐苦果。
How?
Jesus Chris is the fountain of the blessing to everyone in the world if we turn to the Lord and accept Jesus Christ as my savior. God gives us the right to choose our way.
May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness— an abundance of grain and new wine. May nations serve you and peoples bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and may the sons of your mother bow down to you. 變調的伊甸園

如同耶和華的園子，也像埃及地
眼看見。心選擇 遷道路 所多瑪 憂傷
2. 羅得選擇約旦河全平原，往東遷移…直到所多瑪

1.神在伊甸離了一個園子，把所造的人安置在那裡。
2. 神使各樣悅人的樹長出…其上的果子好作食物
園子當中又有生命樹和分別善惡的樹
3. 園子當中，分別善惡樹上的果子，…你不可吃！
分別善惡本身是好的，只是現在還不屬於我的，還沒有資格有此權力。眼睛明亮，常常是我們有了私心，行為開始偏差，高傲。以致現今的魔鬼，小鬼。不要想當頭。
伊甸園比喻好像我們今天獲准進入一家福利非常好的公司，如Google,環境好同仁素質告別，待遇好，每天供餐，自助餐，咖啡，點心隨意吃…生活好到每天有點無聊。有一天公司表示總經理因為年紀將離職。忽然人生有新目標。平日的同仁似乎沒有那麽好，公司政策開始有自己的想法。漸漸看不起同仁的看法。常常做與公司相違的事。後來被公司開除。忽然醒悟我在幹什麼？
罵人說獸性大發，當人失去齡靈，與野獸一樣。
人沒有靈魂，人就死了。
烏西雅王，他既強盛，就心高氣傲，以致行事乖僻，干犯耶和華…
重返伊甸園？？
我如今把一件奧秘的事告訴你們，我們不是都要睡覺，乃時是要改變

Bless my daughters
Genesis 26:34-27:17
He called for Esau his older son and said to him, Now then, get your equipment—your quiver and bow—and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me. Prepare me the kind of tasty food I like and bring it to me to eat, so that I may give you my blessing before I die.”
Now Rebekah was listening as Isaac spoke to his son Esau. When Esau left for the open country to hunt game and bring it back, 6 Rebekah said to her son Jacob, “Look, I overheard your father say to your brother Esau, ‘Bring me some game and prepare me some tasty food to eat, so that I may give you my blessing in the presence of the Lord before I die.’ Now, my son, listen carefully and do what I tell you.
His mother said to him, “My son, let the curse fall on me. Just do what I say; go and get them for me.”
Why?
Father's blessing is important than prosperity. So Rebekah asked Jacob to make this cheating to get the blessing from Isaac.
Isaac likes Esau, but his wife Rebekah likes Jacob so this story happened.
Even though this event and the destination is arranged by the Lord when they were born.
To be a father I have the power to bless my daughters.
How?
We are the people under the plan of the Lord, we can not do anything beyond the plan of the Lord. It seems our decision but all are the plans of the Lord.

Faith and fear
Genesis 26:1-33
Now there was a famine in the land, The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live. 3 Stay in this land for a while, and I will be with you and will bless you. So Isaac stayed in Gerar.
When the men of that place asked him about his wife, he said, “She is my sister,” because he was afraid to say, “She is my wife.” He thought, “The men of this place might kill me on account of Rebekah, because she is beautiful.”
Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.
From there he went up to Beersheba. That night the Lord appeared to him and said, “I am the God of your father Abraham. Do not be afraid, for I am with you; I will bless you and will increase the number of your descendants for the sake of my servant Abraham.”
Isaac built an altar there and called on the name of the Lord. There he pitched his tent, and there his servants dug a well.
That day Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well they had dug. They said, “We’ve found water!” He called it Shibah, and to this day the name of the town has been Beersheba.
The story in chapter 26 parallels incidents in Abraham's life, yet is distinct and different from the earlier accounts. Famine uproots Isaac from the Negeb, but he goes north to Gerar, not south to Egypt. He adopts the same ruse over Rebecca that his father had done with Sarah: but Rebecca is not taken from him. Like most of us. Isaac vacillates between faith and fear, needing God's repeated reassurance: 'I am with you.. do not be afraid, I shall bless you.'
Abimelech offers peace with honor.
Why?
Between faith and fear, Issac did the same thing as his father Abraham. For God's blessing this time Rebecca does not take away from him.
The same challenge came, famine, for the warning of the Lord, Isaac did not move to the south, Egypt, but move to the north, Geraa. For the Lord is with him he became rich and very wealthy.
Isaac gave up three well and occupied by Philistine, for God's blessing his servant dug a new well and belong to him in Beersheba.

1.一樣遇到飢荒。因為飢荒向南遷，迦南地沒有準時下雨就易有飢荒，因埃及沒有這個問題很容易往南遷。神要賜福的條件是順服神的話。
2.說謊。住在非力士人那裏，比較難的是利百加可能使他有生命危險，這個事情比較難倚靠神。其實這個危險並不是非利士人的企圖，而且是自己因為軟弱而想像的。人信心因為軟弱很容易把問題放大，把神的保護、應許縮小了。後來亞米比勒反而下令保護以撒和利百加。
3.爭水井，以撒挖井都在讓，最後神賜他寬闊之地。地為以撒效力，挑戰和祝福同時來。選擇策略是讓，比爭有效，免於生命危險。即使爭也不見得爭得到。當我們不爭的時候，神會替我們爭。

Esau despised his birthright
Genesis 25:1-34
Abraham had taken another wife, whose name was Keturah.
Abraham left everything he owned to Isaac. But while he was still living, he gave gifts to the sons of his concubines and sent them away from his son Isaac to the land of the east.
Abraham lived a hundred and seventy-five years. His sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah near Mamre, in the field of Ephron son of Zohar the Hittite.
These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers according to their settlements and camps. Ishmael lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. He breathed his last and died, and he was gathered to his people.
Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau. After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau’s heel; so he was named Jacob. Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.
But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright.
Once again the line is continued by the direct action of God. After 20 years waiting. Esau and Jacob are born. Never waiting. Esau and Jacob are born. Never were twins less alike in character.
Why?
After Sarah died, Abraham had taken another wife, so he has many sons but only his son Isaac got all his inheritance and property.
Ishmael has twelve tribal rulers and many peoples it is the blessing of the Lord!
Isaac prayed to the Lord so he has two sons, Esau and Jacob.
Esau despised his birthright for he loves the world and something good to eat!

亞伯拉罕其他兒子，米殿。亞伯拉罕還在世的時候，安排他死後的事。向東走是阿拉伯，阿拉伯人也是亞伯拉罕的後代。排除障礙，使以撒可以繼續走在神的道路。教會中選召，培養、營造環境，帶領年輕人在教會中可以走在主的道路中。在自然環境中，人有罪性，不喜歡親近神，不喜歡讀經。
亞伯拉罕要交棒，沒有任何一個人不能被取代的，即使像亞伯拉罕受神重用，還是有壽終正寢的時候。
以撒和利百加結婚後20年沒有小孩。亞伯拉罕的應許等25年，以撒等20年。要生下繼承盟約也需要神的恩典，他們血統純正而且是神的揀選。每個夫妻生下孩子都在神的保守與計劃當中。
以掃只顧眼前需要，好像個粗人，每天忙碌在外。不在乎名份。雅各比較安靜，很有思想，心機。看到以掃的弱點，潛伏很深，知道規劃未來。
營造環境，排除障礙，讓他得到更永久的福份。我們是否也營造環境，排除障礙，迷失在我們的需要當中。
