Matthew 19:1-30
God created male and female at beginning. For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
Some one has marriage, someone does have marriage. The one who can accept this should accept it.
The kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these , the little children come to Jesus.
How to get eternal life?
1) obey the commandments. 2) If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven. 3)Then come, follow me.
Who then can be saved? Jesus said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
But many who are first will be last, and man who are last will be first.
The rabbis disagreed about divorce. some allowed it for anything that displeased the husband; others oly for unfaithfulness. Jesus goes back to God's purpose for man and woman at the very beginning. That is how god meant it to be. Moses, dealing with a situation that fell far short of the ideal, placed a restriction on divorce. Jesus says that adultery is the only legitimate reason.
Why?
God has joined together, so we have to obey God's word, do not separate, no divorce to Christian.
The standard seems too high to Jesus' followers and he recognizes this: it is too hard without God's help.
Even so celibacy(獨身) is not the answer for most people(it was very unusual for Jews). Jesus is one of those who forgo(放棄) marriage to carry out a special commission from God.
How?
Love my wife with God's love and help. So as get the eternal life need God's help.

Love others with unlimited forgiveness.
Matthew 18:12-35
Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.
Your brother sins and could won your brother over or he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector. Personal. take two brothers along then tell it to the church, Three steps to won our brother over.
Where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.
How many time shall I forgive my brother? Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times."
The parable of the unmerciful servant: God forgive us huge debt of sins, so we should treat others with mercy when others own me.
This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart.
Why?
In the new community wrongdoing matters; every effort must be made to set the defaulter right.
Unlimited forgiveness is expected of those who enjoy the limitless forgiveness of God.
The point is the immeasurable extent of our 'debt' to God, compared to anything we may have to forgive out fellow human beings.
Here are the lesson to us that how to treat brother sin against us and how to love others with unlimited forgiveness. Even he did something wrong, but we should forgive him for God loves us, I am not perfect.
How?
Love others with unlimited forgiveness.

Whoever humbles himself like child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven
Matthew 18:1-11
Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
Anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin. Woe to the the world because of the things that cause people to sin!
See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. Angles will see and report to the Lord.
This is Matthew's fourth teaching section, on relationships in the new community.
God's kingdom operates by totally different standards from the world's.
Status-seeking is out. So is the policy of 'the weakest to the wall', On the contrary, the spiritually weak are the special responsibility of the strong.
Why?
Humble is the basic requirement to a Christian. Then welcomes a little one, do not look down any one, love others with love, for Jesus loves us and die for our sin.
Look down other is lift up myself.
Life in God's community: Humble, pure heart like a little child, live others with compassion.
How?

Faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you
Matthew 17:14-27
Why couldn't we drive it out? Jesus replied, "Because you have so little faith. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, nothing will be impossible for you"
About pay tax, Jesus said "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes - from their won sons or from others? "From others," Peter answered." But so that we may not offend them go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours."
The Roman silver denarius was a day's pay for laborers in Jesus' time. In his story of the 'Good Samaritan', the innkeeper was given two denarii to look after the injured man.
Why?
If we have faith there is nothing impossible to us. God will help us to complete it. Things in God's will!
Everyone need to pay the tax to the government, so Jesus pay the tax either, but he has his way to make it, because Jesus is Son of God and he is stayed on the earth a while.

Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid
Matthew 17:1-13
Jesus was transfigured before before them, Peter , James and John.
A bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!
Get up,” Jesus said. “Don’t be afraid.
Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?
Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.
Why?
Peter, James and John saw the transfiguration of Jesus, they met the Lord on the hill. It is the evidence of Jesus is came from the heaven.
And the voice from cloud is same when Jesus was baptized by John.
Jesus is one more time reveal he will be suffering by men as John the Baptist.
Jesus knew he is on the way to be crucified. But He told his disciples do not be afraid.
Facing the miracle or anything, get up don't be afraid Jesus is with me!
How?
Get up don't be afraid, when I walking on the way of God, I will be blessed. Get up face the future, face my everyday. Be rejoice!

Take up my cross and follow Jesus.
Matthew 16:13-28
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.
Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
And I tell you that you are Peter,and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.
Jesus beginning to prepare his disciples for the suffering that lies ahead.
But the recent promise has gone to Peter's head. The rock becomes an obstacle. God's spokesman turns devil's advocate.
Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.
Why?
Peter has the vision of heaven and from the flesh both. Peter is blessed for he followed Jesus way after Jesus was risen.
Peter is the rock, and he hold the key of the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God, this is the real identity of the Jesus Christ.
Simon speaks for all the apostles in asserting his belief that Jesus is the Messiah. And Jesus sees in him the man of rock he will become after the shattering experience of denial and forgiveness.
It is Peter, the natural spokesman, who will be responsible more than any other for the formation of the church at Pentecost.
The authority given to Peter is given equally to the others. The idea of the keys echos Isaiah 22:22. God is no bound by whatever Peter may say. But anything done by the disciple in accordance with Christ's will is to have permanent validity.
How?
Take up my cross and follow Jesus.

Guard againt yeast of Pharisees and Sudducees
Matthew 16:1-12
The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven. Jesus said none will be given it except the sign of Jonah. You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.
Guard against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. Working of the yeast is underground, could not be seen.
Jesus will rise from the death three days later like Jonah. There is none sign could be seen.
The Pharisees had demanded a sign once before. Now the Sadducees, the ultra-conservatives, join them in putting Jesus to the test. But his answer is still the same.
Why?
The yeast is like to see the evidence from the miracles, but it is the faith to Jesus. If teaching like Pharisees and Sadducees, they are following the law can not find the eternal life, but lost the heart of kingdom of heaven. Try to find the truth will be lost.
Yeast/leaven : An evil force, working unseen. The disciples must not be like those Pharisees and Sadduccees whose hostility(敵意) prevents them from recognizing the work of God.
How?
Don't let any evil mind came into our heart, evil fruits could be growing up.
