I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me
Isaiah 65:1-16
I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’
A people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick;
“See, it stands written before me: I will not keep silent but will pay back in full; I will pay it back into their laps— both your sins and the sins of your ancestors,” says the Lord. “Because they burned sacrifices on the mountains and defied me on the hills, I will measure into their laps the full payment for their former deeds.”
As when juice is still found in a cluster of grapes and people say, ‘Don’t destroy it, there is still a blessing in it,’ so will I do in behalf of my servants; I will not destroy them all. I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and from Judah those who will possess my mountains; my chosen people will inherit them, and there will my servants live.
But as for you who forsake the Lord and forget my holy mountain, who spread a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny, I will destine you for the sword, and all of you will fall in the slaughter; for I called but you did not answer, I spoke but you did not listen. You did evil in my sight and chose what displeases me.”
God responds to the prophet. He has always been ready to help, but his people never sought him. He will answer the prayer for his people in a way which exceeds their wildest dreams. But the answer will be two edged: for those who align themselves against him, total destruction, the sweeping away of every vestige of evil; for his faithful ones, life, joy, peace beyond imagining, in a heaven and earth made new.
Why?
God is always ready to help those who seek the Lord.
There is clear that those who seek the Lord may have the peace and prosper, but those those who continue provoke to God's very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick; God will pay it back into their laps.
Do not spread a table for fortune, do not fill bowls of mixed wine for destiny, God will destine them for the sword, and fall in the slaughter. There is quite difference consequences between seeking for the Lord and forsake the Lord,

How?
I am be blessed for I am seeking the Lord, I know that Jesus Christ is son of the Lord, no one can come to the Lord except through Jesus.

Will you keep silent and punish us beyond measure?
Isaiah 64:1-12
You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember your ways. But when we continued to sin against them, you were angry. How then can we be saved?
All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy(污穢) rags(碎布); we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away. No one calls on your name or strives to lay hold of you; for you have hidden your face from us and have given us over to our sins.
Yet you, Lord are out Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.
After all this, Lord, will you hold yourself back? Will you keep silent and punish us beyond measure?
Why does he not tear the heavens apart to come and rescue his people in their crying need? Is God unmoved? Will he do nothing?
Why?
God is not keep silent, God has his plan, but we do not know. We are the clay, and God is the potter, we are all the work of God's hand.
God knows what we have done, God is our father, sometimes God keep silent.
Prophet cry to praying and hoping God's salvation come upon them.
How?
Keep praying to the Lord, may salvation and help come up this land.

But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us
Isaiah 63:10-19
This is how you guided your people to make for yourself a glorious name.
Look down from heaven and see, from your lofty throne, holy and glorious. Where are your zeal and your might? Your tenderness and compassion are withheld from us.
But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.
For a little while your people possessed your holy place, but now our enemies have trampled down your sanctuary. We are yours from of old; but you have not ruled over them, they have not been called by your name.
The prophet's prayer is very like a psalm. Recalling all God's past goodness and faithfulness, his acts of power in the days of Moses, leads to an impassioned appeal. Where is God's concern his power now? Why does he not tear the heavens apart to come and rescue his people in their crying need? Is God unmoved? Will he do nothing?
Why?
Prophet prayed to the Lord, why God forsakes them, they were their children, God is their father , their redeemer from of old.
They were looked like not ruled over by the Lord, so prophet prayed to the Lord, may God's mercy and compassion come upon them.
Isaiah not only deliver God's message but also pray for his people for they are God's people, and he cared about them.
Isaiah criticized sins of his people but also he loves his people, like God has righteousness and love.
How?
Learn from Isiah, walk on the way of righteousness and tenderness and compassion to our neighbor.

Mighty to save.
Isaiah 63:01-09
“It is I, proclaiming victory, mighty to save.”
It was for me the day of vengeance; the year for me to redeem had come.
He has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses.
It was for me the day of vengeance; the year for me to redeem had come.
I trampled the nations in my anger; in my wrath I made them drunk and poured their blood on the ground.
He said, “Surely they are my people, children who will be true to me”; and so he became their Savior. In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
Edom (which means red) with its capital, Bozrah, represents all the enemies of God's people. This is an appalling picture; but until the enemy is defeated. God's people cannot be set free.
Why?
God is the one mighty to save!
God make vengeance and redeem his people.
In God's anger and wrath, he made enemies drunk and poured their blood on the ground.
God is the Lord with compassion and many kindness. God is the redeemer to his people,
God was distressed in all their distress, God was sad when he punished those people.
In the day of God's vengeance is the year of God to redeem had come. No too long for the coming of salvation and redeemer.
How?
God is the Lord of righteousness and love with deep compassion.

Zion’s New Name
Isaiah 62:01-12
The nations will see your vindication(表白), and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will bestow.
But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married.
Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations.
They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the Lord; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted.
The day is coming when God will be able to rejoice and delight in his people; a day to long for, pray for prepare for.
Why?
God will erase all blame and sins and shame on Zion and bestow them glory, a new name.
God will take delight in you and your land will be married, like married couple rejoice together.

In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them
Isaiah 61:01-11
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion--to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them.
I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
The unnamed voice in 61:1 is that of the Servant. The passage is sometime seen as a fifth Servant Song. Jesus announces his mission by reading these words. In 61:5-9 God's people become the nation of priests he always intended them to be, breaking into a song of praise.
Why?
Jesus Christ is the servant of the Lord, who proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.
This is character of the Lord who love justice and hate robbery and wrongdoing. In God's faithfulness he will reward his people and makes an everlasting covenant with them.
God gives us a position like bridegroom adorns his head like a priest. To serve the Lord forever.
How?
