Maintain justice and do what is right.

Isaiah 56:1-12
Maintain justice and do what is right.
Blessd is the man who does this, the Lord wll give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.
Foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to serve him, to love the name o the Lord, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant.
My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations!
I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered.
The wicked men, they are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack unerstanding they all turn to their own way, each seeks his own gain.
Chapter 56-66: we return to a restored Jerusalem, and life back home, after the exile. Scenes of sin and failure mingle with scenes of future glory.
Why?
THere is nothing eclusive about the love of God. There is a place among his people for all who will follow and obey him, even the most despised.
God's own Temple is meant to be a 'house of payer' for all the nations.
Maintain is keep doing, it is not only do once but as living style, do it anytime.
to keep in an appropriate condition, operation, or forcekeep unimpaired
Foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord may have the blessing as Israelites.
Church of God will be called "house of prayer for all nations", it is a prayer place, not only pray for ourselves but also pray for all nations- this world and the needy in God's perspective. It is not our own perspective.
Confess our sin, meditae in my heart "Do I seeks my own gain only?", Do I lack understanding?
How?
Church is not only for worship the Lord, but is a house of prayer. I am not Israelite, because of the love of Jesus Christ, through him I can be a child of the Lord and stand in present of God. What I have to do is maintain justice and do what is right.
