Without God's blessing, I can do nothing

Acts 28:1-15
The people expected Paul to swell up or suddenly fall dead, after he was fastened by a snake. But waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god.
Paul makes an impacts on the people of the island, surviving a snakebite, and healing the father of the island chief.
So winter passes and the third phase of the voyage takes them safely to Puteoli, where Christian welcome awaits.
So Paul reaches Rome at last, though hardly in the way he imagined. He is allowed his own lodgings, with a single guard. And for two years he bears witness to Jesus at the heart of the Empire, as God has promised.
Why?
Suffering some bad events like Paul bited by snake, but the Lord blessed him, so it became the grace of God. The work of God worked on him.
Paul is really God's servant, where he has been there are healing and miracles with him. Paul honored the name of God, did wonderful good witness to the Jesus Christ.
How?
My food is follow Jesus' teaching and obey his commands. What can I do, I can do nothing unless under the blessing of the Lord.
