Psalm 70:1-5
Hasten, O God, to save me; O Lord, come quickly to help me.
May those who seek my life be put to shame and confusion.
May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you;
Yet I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help an my deliverer.
Why?
For David knew that only God can help him, so he prayed to the Lord even it was urgent.
No matter what happened pray to the Lord is the best solution.
Be humble before the Lord is our altitude.
How?
God is my help and my deliverer, seek to the Lord, pray to the God!

We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God
Acts 14:19-28
"We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God." Paul and Barnabas said to them strengthening the disciples and encouraging to remain true to the faith.
On arriving Antioch, they reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.
Further trouble from the Jews of Antioch takes them on to Derbe, the furthest point of this first mission, where the response is good.
Returning by the same route they encourage the new believers, appointing leaders for each church.
Why?
Under the hardship environment, Paul could continue preaching gospel for he has passion and faith to the Lord. Paul has commitment to the mission from the Lord.
How about my passion to the gospel, why it seems cold down?
Each of us need go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God.
Even under troubles, there were many gentile turned to the Lord. So the Lord opened the door of faith to the Gentile through Paul's team.
How?
Oh, Lord! Please return my passion of the gospel, and catch each opportunity to preach gospel and honor your name.

Be humble and give honor to the Lord
Acts 14:8-18
In Lystra and Derbe, Paul healed a man crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked. The crowd wanted to offer sacrifices to them.
Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed and called out, "Stand up on your feet!"
Paul shouting: Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God. who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them..."
Following an attempted stoning, they escape to Lystra, where the healing of a cripple leads the people to acclaim(歡呼) Barnabas and Paul as Hermes (the messenger-god), despite their protests.
Why?
Because Paul and Barnabas don't want people make mistake that they are human beings, they bring good news to them, let them know that Jesus is the Lord. Don't do the worthless things; worship them and other gods.
They refused the honor from people, for they can not got the honor of God.

Mistrust and suspicion poison the minds against the brothers.
Acts 14:1-7
Paul and Barnabas went as usual into the Jewish synagogue at Iconium.
The unbelieving Jews worked up a whispering campaign against Paul and Barnabas, showing mistrust and suspicion in the minds of the people in the street.
They spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to do miraculous signs and wonders. The people of the city were divided; some sided with the Jews, others with the apostles.
When they found out their plot they fled to the Lycaonian cities of Lystra and Derbe.
Driven out of Antioch, they go to Iconium, where the pattern is repeated.
Why?
For the Lord working with Paul and Barnabas so they speaking boldly for the Lord, miraculous signs and wonders with them.
Facing difficult and challenge Paul and Barnabas did not fear but speaking boldly for the Lord. Until danger is closing then they fled away for their safety.
Mistrust and suspicion may destroy the relationship among people. Be aware of it.
How?
Trust in the Lord and working with the Lord. Committed to the mission of the gospel.

God is great who can obscure God's glory and grace
Acts 13:40-52
Look at the nations and watch and be utterly amazed.(Hab.1:5) Look, you scoffers, wonder and perish, for I am going to do something in your days that you would never believe, even if someone told you.
I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.(Isaiah 49:6) Paul said to the Jews who filled with jealousy and talked abusively against what Paul was saying.
Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.
Opposition from the Jews sends Paul and Barnabas to the Gentiles.
Why?
Even there were persecution, the Gospel is growing up. For it expressing the truth of God, and accepted men increasing. And opposition from evil increasing also.
Follow the truth and love of the Lord, no one can against God's plan.
Preaching Gospel to Buddhist is most difficult, but with the Holy Spirit will be done through the hands of the Lord.
Man have to make decision to the Lord or away from the Lord, and he will accept the consequence of his decision.
How?

Everlasting salvation to those who trust in Jesus Christ
Acts 13:28-39
My son! My very own Son! Today I celebrate you!
I'll give to all of you David's guaranteed blessings.
You'll never let your Holy One see death's not and decay.
David, of course, having complete the work God set out for him, has been in the grave. But the One God raised up - no dust and ashes for him!
Paul said, "Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Through him everyone who believes is justified from everything you could not be justified from by the law of Moses."
Good News: What God promised our fathers he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus.
A brief resume of Jewish history is given to show that Jesus is God's promised Savior.
Why?

Let my life be part of the salvation history of the Lord!

Paul made a speech to men of Israel and Gentiles who worship God, said about the Jesus Christ is savior of Israel and God-fearing Gentiles. And Jesus fulfilled the words of the Prophets that are read every Sabbath.
Jesus is descendants of David, God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as he promised.
Paul's first reported sermon, at Antioch in Pisidia, is given to a mixed audience of Jews, Gentile converts(皈依) and sympathizers. A brief resume of Jewish history is given to show that Jesus is God's promised Savior.
Why?
Paul talked history of Israel from out of Egypt.
It is the work of God not by men, so all of his talk are God's work. It is not only the history of Israel but the history of God with Israel.
All mankind are following the plan of God, include Jesus is the promised Savior. God the the sovereign Lord.
All my experience and my life is under the leading of the Lord.

Risk and difficulty could be a good opportunity for those who trust in the Lord
Acts 13:4-15
The two of them sent on their way by the Holy Spirit.
Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Eymas and said, "You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right ! you are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You will be unable to see the light of the sun.
When the proconsul saw what had happened, he believed, for he was amazed at the teaching about the Lord.
Barnabas and Saul, with young John Mark to help them, go first to Cyprus, where they confound magician Elymas and make a notable convert, the proconsul Sergius Paulus.
Saul adopts the Roman version of his own name: Paul.
From now on it is 'Paul and company', as he takes the lead.
Why?
With the Holy Spirit, Paul let the magician blind and let him can not do any deceit and trickery, because he is an enemy of everything that is right.
On their way of mission Paul work with the Holy Spirit so the proconsul believed Jesus for he amazing what Paul did and the teaching about the Lord. Do not fear when work with the Holy Spirit.
Facing the difficulty and troubles pray to the Lord and work with the Holy Spirit, God will do the wonderful things.
Before Paul knew the Lord, God let Paul saw a light and he can not see anything for three days, now Paul let the sorcerer from light to blind. As Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness. (Isaiah 5:20)

Worshiping the Lord and fasting
Acts 13:1-13:3
While there were prophets and teachers, they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."
So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
From this point on in Acts, Saul/Paul is the center figure.
The church at Antioch, directed by the Holy Spirit, selects its best men for pioneer work.
Why?
Herod who persecuted church and dead by a worm. Meanwhile, the ministry of God's word grew by leaps and bounds. Here is the turn of the kingdom of God, the authority of political seems stronger, but failed.
Although obey to the God is not be focused by the world, but we can see the authority of God changing this world.

Expect great things from God

When Peter returned people didn't believe the servant girl said, they said to the servant ,"You are out of mind."
Peter asked them be quiet and moved to another place.
On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people. They shouted,"This is the voice of a god, not of a man." Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, and angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.
But the word of God continued to increase and spread.
Why?
They had prayed for the Peter but when Peter returned they did not believe, because it is impossible under so worse situation no one can make it on the world. But God can make it.
We are praying but still focusing on the problem of environment so we do not believe.
I believe and expect from God do great thing.
If it is not the permission of the Lord apostle won't die, so before we made the mission of God done, we won't die either.
The justice and fair are in the hands of God, those people against the Lord will be punished by God instead of us.
How?

Acts 12:13-19
When Peter returned people didn't believe the servant girl said, they said to the servant ,"You are out of mind."
Peter asked them be quiet and moved to another place.
On the appointed day Herod, wearing his royal robes, sat on his throne and delivered a public address to the people. They shouted,"This is the voice of a god, not of a man." Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, and angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.
But the word of God continued to increase and spread.
Why?
They had prayed for the Peter but when Peter returned they did not believe, because it is impossible under so worse situation no one can make it on the world. But God can make it.
We are praying but still focusing on the problem of environment so we do not believe.
I believe and expect from God do great thing.
If it is not the permission of the Lord apostle won't die, so before we made the mission of God done, we won't die either.
The justice and fair are in the hands of God, those people against the Lord will be punished by God instead of us.
How?
Trust in the God and expect great things from God!

A maximum security prison presents no problems to God!
Acts 12:1-12
King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, include James, put to death with the sword. When he saw that this pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also.
The night before Herod was to bring him to trial, The angel of the Lord rescued him from Herod's clutches(爪子) and from everything the Jewish people were anticipating.
While Paul an Barnabas are in Jerusalem, handing over Antioch's donation for the famine relief, King Herod instigates (鼓動) a new wave of persecution. James, one of the three apostles closest to Jesus, dies. But Peter is rescued, even as the Christians gather to pray. A maximum security prison presents no problems to God! And there is more for Peter to do.
King Herod: Herod Agrippa I, grandson of Herod the Great. The kingdom was given to him by his friend, the Emperor Caligula and extended by Claudius.
Unleavened Bread: The seven-day feast immediately following Passover, ad regarded as part of the festival.
Four squads of soldiers: One squad(隊) of four soldiers for each watch of the night, two with Peter, two at the door.
Why?
Apostles were praying for they trust in the Lord can rescue Peter.
God can do anything impossible, so pray to the Lord, there may have miraculous things happen.

How?

Full of the Holy Spirit and faith
Acts 11:19-30
Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number were brought to the Lord.
Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great number of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch.
At about the same time as the events in Caesarea, thing are moving in the north, at Antioch, third largest city in the world (after Rome and Alexandria), busy commercial center and capital of the Roman province of Syria.
The warm response of the Greeks to the Christian message leads the Jerusalem church to dispatch Barnabas to Antioch. He in turn tracks Saul down at his home city of Tarsus. And the stage is set for the next great advance, described from chapter 13 onward.
Lord: A more suitable title for Jesus in the Roman world than the Jewish 'Messiah'. As the Romans declared 'Caesar is Lord' so the Christians declared 'Jesus is Lord'.
A severe famine: in the days of Claudius: Claudius was emperor AD 41-54, The famine hit Palestine about AD 46.
Why?
Barnabas was dispatched to Antioch, he needs someone to help him to teach people, so he went to invite Saul to work with him. He had the vision that God will use Saul.
To improve the work of the Lord, we should find proper coworker and work together.
God wants us build church with others, no one can build church by himself, find a team with faith and Holy Spirit to build church.
Full of Holy Spirit and faith is the requirement to be a good servant of the Lord.
How?
May I could be full of the Holy Spirit and faith to be a good coworker to build other's life.

John baptized with water, you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Peter remembered Jesus words.
If God gave them the same gift as he gave us, who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to think that I could oppose God?
When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying,"So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life."
Luke makes it clear that the apostles and leaders fully approves Peter's action, the hand of God was so evident in it all.
Why?
Peter wanted to prove that all these phenomenon were given by the Lord, and proved it with Jesus word.
Experience with God's word may assure that it is the truth.
How?
We may meet new matters or new experience, with God's word we may know more about the Lord.

The altitude under opposition and criticizing
Acts 10:44-11:10
The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.
When Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him and said, "you went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them."
Peter explained everything to them precisely as it had happened.
No one can now deny baptism to those who have received such an obvious mark of God's favor.
The recounting of the events at Caesarea underlines their significance. The criticism Peter faces from a particularly narrow faction of Jewish Christians in Jerusalem will do every stage of Paul's missionary work.
Why?
It is the truth that God gave Holy Spirit on the gentiles in Caesarea, can anyone higher than God? No, We have to obey the authority of the Lord.
Peter explained it clearly to Jews Christian in Jerusalem. It is not Peter's power or his high position in church but it is the truth.
Under opposition and criticizing we have to calm down and explain it clearly without flesh word and mind but the experience and the truth, let others know the truth.
How?
Pray to the Lord give me the love and wisdom to love my enemy and those who oppose to me.

God does not she favoritism and do what is right
Acts 10:34-43
Peter realized that God does not show favoritism and do what is right.
The message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen - by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.
Why?
The way to be forgiveness: everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through Jesus name.
Peter said the word of good news is same as he said first time for he said to gentiles.
Knew the word of God and trust in the word of God is quite different. Thank God teaching me and leading my way forward.
Not all people may be witness of God but by the chosen on. I am blessed for I am one of those chosen.

Honor name of the Lord
Acts 10:24-33
You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him. But God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean.
Peter said "Stand up, I am only a man myself."
We are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us, Cornelius said to Peter.
Why?
Peter came because the Lord called him come, there is not call any man impure or unclean.
Everyone is equal before the Lord, so we should not call any man impure.
Even those people showed reverence to Peter, but Peter humbled himself for he know all these are the power and work of the Lord. I am a man like you.
Give honor to the Lord! Even People may focus on Peter and their experience with the Lord.
How?
Give honor to the Lord and humble myself!

Obey and follow the instruction of Holy Spirit
Acts 10:17-23
The Spirit said to Peter "Get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them."
Both Peter and Cornelius was instructed by the Lord.
God prepares the Roman officer, Cornelius, and he prepares Peter. Three times the vision and message come - apparently instructing Peter to break the Jewish food laws. But when the men from Cornelius arrive, he is quick to realized the far deeper, human implications(啟示) of his dream.
Why?
God wanted Peter preaches gospel to gentiles.
Peter suspected those men came from Cornelius, but when Peter realized that they were sent by the Holy Spirit so he invited them come in and as his guest one night.
How?

Obey God's word and do it, God is love
Acts 10:9-16
Peter save a vision that heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. It contained all kinds of four-foots animals. Then a voice tole him,"Get up, Peter, Kill and eat."
Peter replied,"Surely not, Lord.", "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." This happened three times.
It was midday when peter fell into his waking dream, and Cornelius' men were already nearing Joppa. Peter's hunger and perhaps the leather awning overhead, shape the images of a vision which God uses to convey his message.
Why?
Four-foot animal means unclean animal, that was prohibited by the Laws. It means the foreign cultures and their customs.
Three time Peter rejected Jesus, Peter said I love you Lord three times. This time God said to Peter eat it three time. It is encourage Peter go forward to the foreign culture for has made it.
God's word is more important than my personal opinion and my interesting matter. Obey and trust in the Lord is the rule to serve the Lord!
How?
Love others who do not like me and walk out to them, accept them. For God is love!

Memory offering: give generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly
Acts 9:43-10:8
Cornelius he and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.
God gave Cornelius a vision and called him to invite Peter to him. Angel answered, "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come p as a memorial offering before God."
Why?
Up to this point the gospel has been preached only to Jews, converts to Judaism and Samaritans(who observed the law of Moses). Now God steps in to make it plain that the message is for everyone, God prepares the Roman officer, Cornelius, and he prepares Peter.
Cornelius, a centurion: One of those who formed he backbone of the Roman army. The centurions stationed in Palestine appear in a very favorable light in the New Testament. Cornelius was an adherent to Jewish faith and worship, but not a circumcised convert.
God chose those who is devout and God-fearing. Who give generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly.
Do I have the passion to be a instrument of the Lord? Then be a devout and God-fearing one.

Do the same thing like Jesus did
Acts 9:31-42
Many people believed in the Lord because Peter healed a paralytic man Aeneas in Lydda. Making a good disciple named Tabitha (is Dorcas) from dead in Joppa.
Peter said to Aeneas, "Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and take care of your mat."
Peter got down on his knees and prayed, turning toward the dead woman, he said, "Tabitha, get up."
Now there is peace at last, Peter is free to visit the Christian groups. A healing at Lydda leads to a call from the port of Joppa, where Tabitha, a much-loved Christian woman, had died. Peter brings her back to life, and settles for a time at Joppa.
His host is a tanner, an 'unclean' occupation for the Jews because it involves handling dead animals. Is Peter already to some extent liberated from his Jewish religious taboos and ready for the next big challenge?
Why?
God wanted let Peter makes the Christian increase much more so gave Peter the power to heal man and brings Tabitha back to life
Miracle let many people turn to the Lord, my life's miracle could be a good witness to others.
Jesus is raising, but gives us the Holy Spirit so peter proved that the Holy Spirit is existing and can do the same works of Jesus.

Be changed by met Jesus
Acts 9:19~30
Saul pteached Jesus is son of God, Jesus is the Christ.
The Jews plotted to kill him. The disciples took him by night and let him down through the wall in a large basket.
Saul came to Jerusalem,b but apostles didn't believed in him.
But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles.
Why?
Saul will turned to Jesus Christ,so he changed. When I met Jesus,i I was changed either.
Only Barnabas accepted Saul,l listen to what he said then make decision? We are easily obscured by roumer or other's opinions.
How?
Let God change my mimd and my heart to more like Jesus.

上帝的禮物

經文：可10:17-22 路3:7-17
永生的要件：
1.受誡命
2.變賣所有，分給窮人
3.跟從耶穌
一，做善事得永生？誡命是善事嗎？誰給你永生，誰給好報？好事不是你定義的，是給你好處的人定的。若是好人住在深山中沒有意義，還不是一顆樹，它也不殺人害人，卻淨化空氣，不會製造污染。
二，少年人沒有愛人如己就沒有守誡命
可 3:1-5 守誡命，不變賣所有分給窮人
守誡命過於愛人，只看誡命不看病人需要
老虎與懷孕的母貓路上相遇，貓心中想怎麼有貓吃到這麼胖，老虎想怎麼這麼小就懷孕。都是以自己的觀點來看事情。
守誡命，變賣所有，分給窮人，不跟從耶穌。
沒人看見仍行善是本相。企業做善事，取好形象，他們已經拿到報酬了。
跟從耶穌，不守誡命，變賣所有分給窮人
是基督徒嗎？
約翰對那要受洗的人說：結出果子來，與悔改的心相稱。問的人有錢所以耶穌要他變賣所有的分給窮人，若問的人不是有錢人，耶穌不會這樣問。
有兩件衣服的要分給別人
承受永生的條件？
沒有資格，條件，時間限制
跟隨耶穌
結出果子與悔改的心相稱
不能承受永生的人，不能承受神的國
不能進去與進去後得不到是一樣的
沒有付出就得不到上帝的福。來教會，只是聽，點頭，只有得到人的讚美。

Totally obey and follow God's words
Acts 9:10-19a
The Lord called a disciple named Ananias to him in a vision.
Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tausus named Saul, for he is praying.
The Lord said to Ananias, "Go! this man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and their kings and before the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name."
Ananias placing his hands on Saul, said "The Lord - Jesus who sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit..."
By the time Ananias to do but think. Saul the persecutor has become 'Brother Saul' - a man who will suffer much for the cause he tried to stamp out. His immense energy is given at once to preaching Jesus as Son of God; and opposition begins.
Tarsus: A university city with a population of half a million; meeting-place of East and west, Greek and Oriental.
Why?
God chosen any kind of men as instrument for his mission to preaching gospel and be good witnesses.
Go is the action, obey God's command and go out, God is with us.
Ananias knew Saul had persecuted saints in Jerusalem but he call Brother Saul, he is fully obey God's way and instruction, for he is fear the Lord and had faith to the Lord. From world's perspective go to meet Saul is dangerous action.
I would subdue to the Lord rather to others, for God is good.
What will make me not obey God's word? My fresh desires.
How?
Follow and obey God's word is the best choice! Make right choice is better than any others.

Preach gospel without fear for God is with us
Acts 9:1-9
Saul on the way to Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him.
For three days he was blind and did not eat or drink anything.
Saul's confrontation with Jesus, on the road to the old Syrian capital, Damascus, marks a turning-point in the history of the early church. The story is told three times in Acts.
Never has any conversion brought a more radical change. The blinding light leaves Saul sightless for three days, with nothing to do but think.
The way: The church was known by this name before the people of Antioch invented the new name 'Christian'
Persecute me: Those who persecute his followers persecute Jesus himself.
Jesus told Saul," I want you to get up and enter the city. In the city you'll be told what to do next."
Why?
Jesus looked his follower be persecuted as himself be persecuted, so Jesus make judge on this.
Turn to the Lord is the work of the Lord, only Jesus Christ can make the stone heart become soft heart. Only Jesus Christ can save us from sin and dead.
Jesus wanted use Saul to preach gospel so Jesus told Saul enter the city and waited three days.
Saul was proud with his power and leader to persecute Jesus followers, now he found he can do nothing. he need others to lead his hand to the town. So he become humble and knew Jesus.
How?
Preach Jesus Christ and good news to others, no matter how worse he is, Jesus Christ is our savior to all of us. Do not afraid anyone only listen to the leading of Holy Spirit.

Remove any obstacle between me and Holy Spirit
Acts 8:35-40
Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.
They came to some water an the eunuch said,"Look, here is water, Why shouldn't I be baptized?"
When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away.
Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.
Caesarea: Philip seems to have settled at this sea-port and brought up a family.
Azotus: the old Philistine city of Ashdod.
Why?
Philip knew that preaching gospel is his mission from the Lord. And he has the power to do this mission. Holy Spirit is with Philip.
When the work is leading by the Holy Spirit I can preach gospel under any situation.
What is the obstacle makes me can not connect with the Holy Spirit? my selfish mind and personal thought.
How?
Obey God's word and follow Holy Spirit's leading to preach gospel. I am glad that I can led Annie turn to Jesus last night. Prayed for her and let her know that Jesus is her Lord.

God is the mater in my life and the master of missionary
Acts 8:26-34
An angel of the Lord said to Philip, "Go south to the road - the desert road - that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza." So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians.
Do you understand what you are reading? Book of Isaiah the prophet.
At the height of Philip's flourishing Samaritan campaign God calls him away to meet the need of an individual. Eunuchs were barred(禁止) from the Temple, but God know this foreigner is read to receive the Good News about Jesus.
An Ethiopian: The man, a Jewish convert, was treasurer of the old kingdom of Cush, in northern Sudan.
Candace: The title of the queen mother who ruled the country on behalf of her son. The king himself, defiled as the child of the sun-god, was considered too holy for such secular(世俗) functions.
Scripture: Isaiah 53:7-8 The quotation is from the Greek text which differs slightly from the Hebrew text on which out Old Testament is based.
Why?
Philip is obey the guiding of the Holy Spirit and angel. Even he was preaching Jesus in Samaritan well. God knows which mission is more important.
God led Philip to the desert, it might let us do not why? But God has his way and his work, Philip is join the work of God.
God is the master in all those good news preaching.
How?

Keep the right heart before the Lord
Acts 8:14-25
Simon offered money to Peter and John, and said,"give me also this ability so that everyone on whom I lay my hands may receive the Holy Spirit."
Peter answered:"May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money! You have no part or share in this ministry, because your heart is not right before God. Repent of this wickedness and pray o the Lord. Perhaps he will forgive you for having such a thought in your heart."
Simon asked Peter pray to the Lord for him.
Wherever the scattered believers went they took the message with them - in Philip's case with such marked success that two of the apostles come down to see what is happening. It is Philip's power which draws Simon, and he covets the power to convey the gift of the Spirit, needing Peter's stern words to set him right.
Why?
Every believer has the Spirit of God; But there is special significance sign of the coming of the Spirit - given when the apostles officially recognize these members of the despised enemy nation as equal citizens in Gods kingdom.
Keep the right heart is necessary before the Lord, God knows our heart rather than other man.
Simon looked Holy Spirit as an idol, as an religious sign. So Peter blamed Simon.
Holy Spirit comes from the Lord, it is the grace from the Lord, it is the authority of the Lord, so nothing can exchange to get it.
How?
Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, keep right heart before the Lord. Do not need to pursue the Holy Spirit but follow and obey God's word, trust in Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit will comes upon us in God's time.

Suffering become the opportunity of blessing
Acts 8:1-13
On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria.
Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Christ there.
So there was great joy in that city for with shrieks, evil spirits came out of many and many paralytics and cripples were healed.
Simon the sorcerer who followed Philip everywhere, astonished by the great signs and miracles he saw.
Te persecution that follows Stephen's dead leads to the first broadening of the church's outreach. The attack seems to have concentrated on Stephen's fellow-Hellenists(Greek-speaking Jews), leaving the apostles free to remain in Jerusalem.
Though hated by the Jews, the Samaritans, too, believed in coming Messiah. They were ready to hear, as Jesus had said and responded eagerly.
Why?
God let persecution happened for let the follower may preach the gospel to Samaritans and to the world.
Suffering has God's beautiful way for all of his follower. Suffering to the believer mean a blessing in the next steps.
How?
Look on the Jesus Christ and all the suffering will be great blessing from the Lord. So the suffering may become the opportunity of blessing.
