Acts 20:29:36-21:6
When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of them and prayed.
We landed at Tyre. We sought out the disciples there and stayed with them seven days. Through the Spirit they urged Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.
When it was time to leave, we left and continued on our way. All of them, including wives and children, accompanied us out of the city, and there on the beach we knelt to pray.
Paul is fully aware of the dangers ahead and does not expect to see these friends again. His words move them to tears as they put their arms around hi, in farewell.
Further voyaging takes Paul and company to Tyre, and another parting, then down to the coast to Ptolemais, and Caesaream where Philip is still living.
Nothing can shake Paul's determination to go to Jerusalem, not even a prophecy of his fate.
Why?
Elders of Ephesus said good bye to Paul with tears, Paul is not alone, his works are preyed with many brothers.
We should pray to the brothers in church when they are struggling for the mission. We are one in Spirit and one God, one believe.
How?
Pray to the Lord for our brothers and sisters for the missionary.
