If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins

1 Corinthians 15:1-19

By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. Whether, then, it is I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed.

And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.  If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.

Most Jews believed in the resurrection of the body the same body that had died. To the Greeks, it was the soul that was immortal. The very idea of resurrection seemed ridiculous to them.

Paul begins with his gospel message and the evidence for Chris's resurrection. This is of the first importance. On it, the Christian faith stands or falls. What is more, it is a well-attested face. Most of those who saw the risen Lord are still alive.

Why?

What we believe is Jesus has been raised from the dead and raised to heaven. one day He will come back again. If Jesus has not been raised, our faith is futile, and we are of all people most to be pitied. Not only written in the Bible, but I have experienced the love and grace of Jesus Christ. So I believed in Jesus Christ and believe in His resurrection.

I know under the grace and guidance and protection of the Lord, I can stand firm until today.

談復活的問題，因為教會有人懷疑復活的問題！基督的死與復活是我們信仰的基礎，耶穌的死我們罪得赦免，耶穌的復活，我們有盼望！

福音是保羅領受的，不是他創立的。基督的死與復活是聖經記載的，基督復活是千真萬確的，許多使徒也都看到的。保羅也看到，他不應該出生的，本來不信的而是被迫的相信。本來最不可能相信的保羅都不得信了。神要透過保羅來建立教會，這是神的使命。保羅的勞苦，保羅視為神的恩典，把勞苦當作恩典！我們的盼望來生，又在乎目前、教會中的評價，頭銜呢?
