I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts

Jeremiah 31:23-40

When I bring them back from captivity, the people in the land of Judah and in its towns will once again use these words: ‘The Lord bless you, you prosperous city, you sacred mountain. People will live together in Judah and all its towns—farmers and those who move about with their flocks. I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.

At this I awoke and looked around. My sleep had been pleasant to me.

In those days people will no longer say, ‘The parents have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.’ Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes—their own teeth will be set on edge.

The days are coming,” declares the Lordwhen I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.

I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my peopleNo longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’  because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.

Why?
The people in the New Testament need a new retrieve from the Law. The Lord will make a new covenant with his people. Put God's law in our hearts and our minds.

Everyone has to take responsibility for their deeds, everyone will die for their own sins, no relate to their father or family.

The Lord makes a new covenant with us. This covenant is built through the blood of Jesus. For no one could be a perfect man.

How?

Even if I am failed in my daily life, return to the Lord and ask for his love and repent before the Lord. God's love is higher than we thought. Obey God's word in my daily life.
