Dry bones they came to life and stood up on their feet - a vast army

Ezekiel 37:1-14

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.

So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.

Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.

Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your owned land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’

Why?

The people of Israel said our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off. But the Lord let Ezekiel see the miracle that the dry bones may return fresh and become a vast army.

Only the Lord is the true God, there is no impossible in God's plan and God's way.

以西結書四個異象 chap1:神的異象  chap8:耶路撒冷拜偶像 chap37:枯骨復生 chap48：聖殿重建好的異象

與末世的情境相近，骸骨枯乾，表示死亡很久了，完全失去指望。人的想法是不可能的，所以以西結回答神你知道，以人來看不可能，但是神的作為我們不知道。人的骸骨，沒有生命，不能聽神的話。當我們沒有完全死透時，我們會用自己的想法來思考。完全沒有自己的想法才能復活，聽進神的證話。

主對我說：你向這些骸骨發預言說：枯乾的骸骨啊，要聽耶和華的話。以西結要去對骸骨說預言，不去擔心，完全順服的說。不料：在人想法以外的。

大衛要神建殿，反而神要為大衛建立家室。我們要先被建造，才能被神使用。

有能力可以打仗，有合一的軍隊，是順服的軍隊。骸骨代表以色列全家。復活、復興的重點是神的靈同在其中！
