* For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.

 Psalm 11:1-7

In the Lord I take refuge.  How then can you say to me:   “Flee like a bird to your mountain. For look, the wicked bend their bows;  they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart.

When the foundations are being destroyed,  what can the righteous do?”

The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them. The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion. On the wicked he will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot.

For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.

Why?

The Lord does not promise us that those who love justice can get many benefits, but we will see his face. See God's face is better than getting anything in this world.

When the foundations are being destroyed nothing can the righteous do. Foundation simply means the starting point of origin. There is something about the starting point of a man, and if faulty, there has to be a rule of engagement to correct it in order to see the mighty hand of God.

Laying a spiritual foundation means teaching and training our children the truth about God and his love for us. A spiritual foundation recognizes that Jesus died and rose again to provide a way for us to receive forgiveness and eternal life.

How?

Pray to the Lord to help me make a solid foundation of faith with truth and love of God.
