We are the sons of the Lord, so we should keep our treasured possession in our daily life

 Exodus 19-20

‘You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself. Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”

The people all responded together, “We will do everything the Lord has said.” So Moses brought their answer back to the Lord.

After Moses had gone down the mountain to the people, he consecrated them, and they washed their clothes. Then he said to the people, “Prepare yourselves for the third day. Abstain from sexual relations.”

Moses said to the Lord, “The people cannot come up Mount Sinai, because you yourself warned us, ‘Put limits around the mountain and set it apart as holy.’”

The Ten Commandments:

Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.”
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven: Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.
Why?
The Lord said the Ten Commandments for Israelite is God's treasured possession, they will be the kingdom of priests and a holy nation for the Lord.
How?
Be aware we, Christians, are the sons of the Lord keep our treasure possession in our daily life.
