Choice between blessing and curse

Deuteronomy 11:18-32
Fix these words of mine on your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads...      Remind Israelite don't forget it.
Teach them to your children in your living: sit at home and talking along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. It is early morning and late night, no other affairs. sit at home and walk along the road is not other person interrupt.
Moses set before them a blessing and  curse- the blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you not known.
Why?
People has the character of curiosity  to unknown things, so they might turn away to the gods they unknown. So the Lord warned them be careful.
The generation of Moses and Joshua saw and experienced the mighty of the Lord, but three generations later their offspring, descendant might forget it. So the education at home is very important, it is not only teaching bur also doing in their living.
People's curiosity is good for science, innovation... but sometimes might lead people to other gods for they try to know how about others; they don't believe their custom or lessons from home or society.
How?
Education at home is important and good witness of their parents are important also.
Blessing and curse are explained clear, then the Lord let people choose which one you prefer, depends on our choice. Of cause I choose blessing and obey the commands of the Lord.
