My people are fools; they do not know me

Jeremiah 4:19-31
How long must I see the battle standard and hear the sound of the trumpet? The battle and the disaster follows disaster; the whole land lies ruins.
"My people are fools; they do not know me. They are senseless children; they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil; they know not how to do good."
I looked at the earth and it was formless and empty; and at the heaves, and their light was gone.
This is what the Lord says:"The whole land will ruined, though I will not destroy it completely. Therefor the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will no relent, I have decided and will not turn back."
What are you doing, O devastated one? Why dress yourself in scarlet and put on jewels of gold? Why shade your eyes with paint? your adorn yourself in vain. Your lovers despise you.
A picture of Jerusalem, unrepentant still; still seeking foreign aid.
Why?
Jeremiah is given a preview of the nation's collapse before the Babylonian army which fills him with unspeakable horror.
Knowing the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
For the wicked people of Israel, the Lord has decided to destroy all land so there were mourn and ruined feature. The earth was formless and empty, even at the heaven the light was gone. No hope and living one is existing there.
Even though the Lord did not destroy the land completely. The Lord gave chance to his people come back again to this promised land.
How?
Remember the mercy of the Lord, don't be a fool, know the Lord, my savior is the most important thing in my life. My portion is within Him.
