Esther 5:9-14
After the dinner Haman was happy and in high spirit. But when he saw Mordecai at the king's gate, he was filled with rage against Mordecai. Nevertheless, Haman restrained himself and went home.
His wife and all his friends said to him, "Have a gallows built 75 feet high and ask the king in the morning to have Mordecai hanged on it. Then go with the king to the dinner and be happy. This suggestion delight Haman, and he had the gallows built.
Haman - suspecting nothing, knowing nothing of Esther's relationship to Mordecai - is greatly flatted. He goes home and builds a gallows topping the city wall, on which he intends to hang his enemy.
Why?
Haman saw there is one man do not give honor to him, so he was filled with rage against Mordecai.
Haman is proud in his wealth and power, so he looks down everyone.
How?
Even have power or reputation, be humble and tender to everyone, serve our neighbor with love and humble and courtesy.
