May God's Holy name be exalted in the world

Esther 8:9-14
They wrote out all Mordecai's orders to the Jews, and to the satraps, governors and nobles of the 127 provinces stretching from India to Cush.
The king's edict granted the Jews in every city the right to assemble and protect themselves; to destroy, kill and annihilate(殲滅) any armed force of an nationality or province that might attack them and their women and children; and to plunder the property of their enemies.
But in answer to Esther's further plea the king authorizes a second decree permitting the Jews to fight back.
The Jews were allowed to treat their enemies exactly as they were to have been treated themselves.
Why?
Because previous edict had been delivered to 127 provinces, so Mordecai's order has to send to all provinces either to protect Jews and their family.
It is the honor of the Jews, people of God. Honor the name of our mighty God!
