James 1:9-18
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when ha has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, ot does he tempt anyone' but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire.
Every good and perfect gift is from above, He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of first fruits of all he created.
James' comments in this chapter provide us with a fair idea of what Christians should be like. They have a positive attitude to the difficulties of life, knowing their value.
They do not blame God when things go wrong.
Why?
When tempted is caused by our own evil desire, that let us know what evil had in me, get rid of this one, could make me more pure and be holy before the Lord.
God is good and perfect, who gives these to us.
When tempted do not complain, no excuse. For God is good, God loves us. God is with us.
How?
Under trial knowing the Lord who is good and perfect, God is always with me.
