Proverbs 3:21-35
My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight.
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.
Do not envy a violent man or choose an of his ways, for the Lord detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence.
He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble.
Wisdom was at work in creation and continues to be worked out in the dos and don'ts of everyday life and relationships.
The teacher passes on his own father's instruction. Wisdom is the thing to go for: it leads to life. Steer clear of wrong-doing and of bad company.
Why?
Wisdom is not just aware it or remember it, but do it when we can make it, our power to act now.
Do not envy or grumble to the mockers or violent men, for God detests a perverse man.
Be humble and do the good thing according to the word of the Lord!
How?
Be humble and do what I can do today!
