Micah 4:1-13
In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as chief among the mountains.
Many nations will come and say, 'Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob.'
He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide, They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks.
All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the Lord our God for ever and ever.
Writhe in agony, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor, for now you must leave the city to camp in the open field. You will go to Babylon; there you will be rescued. There the Lord will redeem you out of the hand of your enemies.
Rise and thresh, O daughter of Zion, for I will give you horns of iron; I will give you hoofs of bronze and you will break to pieces many nations.
The doom of chapter 3 is followed by fresh hope. V 1-8 speak of a new Jerusalem, for which God's word goes out to all people, and to which the nations flock, in an era of peace and plenty.
God will being home a remnant of his people. Salvation - rescue and restoration - will come: but only on the other side of suffering, after the trauma of the Assyrian invasion and the exile in Babylon. Then God will judge, not his people alone, but all the nations massed against them.
Why?
Who knows God's plan? Actually God has told his plan through the prophets.
When you believe it it is the miracle.
God may judge between many peoples and settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. So do not afraid God's power and strength is beyond all the nations.
Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, will be the popular word among people, for God has ruled over all world.
How?
Under frustrated and pressure can I see the hope in the Lord. Raise and thresh, every son of God!
