Give thanks to him and praise his name

 Psalm 100:1-5

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Why?

Praise the Lord with thanks and joy, for we are he made, we are his people, like the sheep of his pasture.

For the Lord is good and his love endures forever, even if we are not good, even if we sometimes made him disappointed when we turn back to the Lord, God's love is still with us.

I have to confess my sins that sometimes when I enter the church attending worship I didn't so joy to sing or pay attention to worship the Lord. But depends on the songs. May the Lord forgive me!

How?

May my heart and my mind and my strength focus on the Lord and do to delight the Lord.
