The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil

 Psalm 101:1-8

I will be careful to lead a blameless life— when will you come to me?

I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart. I will not look with approval on anything that is vile.

The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil.

I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it. The perverse of heart shall be far from me; I will have nothing to do with what is evil.

Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret, I will put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart, I will not tolerate.

My eyes will be on the faithful in the land, that they may dwell with me; the one whose walk is blameless will minister to me.

No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.

I will cut off every evildoer from the city of the Lord.

Why?

David did many right things, but he still has sins with other's wife. So David said I will be careful to lead a blameless life. This is a decision to do the right thing.

The perverse of heart shall be far from me, I will have nothing to do with what is evil. This is a perverb to all of us.

Doing the right thing and keeping my heart away from the evil mind.

Not only do the right things but also hate evil.

大衛知道自己做不到，所以心願是行神的道，存完全的心來行，即正直、單純的心，不是做給人看。行在我的家中，指的是他治理的國家中。也可以解釋自己的家中，最自然的地方，最不需要刻意討好人，怕犯錯的狀態。在自然的情形可以行神的道，其他地方亦然。

完全的道的內容在v3~5。彎曲的心思，不走正道，找律法的漏洞，好像律法沒有說的跑去做，律法有說的卻不熱心去做。暗中讒謗他鄰居的：表裏不一。使用表裏一致、心中誠實正直的人。樂意歌唱，本來就有殷切期盼、渴慕神的心。求神到他這裏來，即與神同在！
