Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it

Proverb 1:8-19

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They are a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.

My son, if sinful men entice you, do not give in to them. If they say, “Come along with us; let’s lie in wait for innocent blood, let’s ambush some harmless soul.

my son, do not go along with them, do not set foot on their paths; for their feet rush into evil, they are swift to shed blood. How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it! These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves! Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it.

Why?

Knowledge is not wisdom, these are two different things. Only the Lord can give us real wisdom.

Parents affect us, so how I be a good father to teach my daughters? Be a sample before them do what is right and love them like God loves us.

Maybe we won't go to rub or kill someone, but most of us may water to get more money and more profit. These are gifts from the Lord.

要聽你父親的訓誨，不可離棄你母親的法則!父母在家中是神的代表，使孩子走在神的道路中。

要作你頭上的華冠，你項上的金鍊：都是裝飾品，華冠指的是做官的，可以使人充滿神的榮耀。

惡人若引誘你，你不可隨從……我兒，不要與他們同行一道。即這是貪戀之心，會害一個人。十誡的最後一句：表示不可貪戀是十誡的總結。亞當就是不滿足神量給人的，不信神給我是最好的。

敬畏耶和華是知識的開端：這是信心的表現。完全信靠神的確妙安排。

埋伏；蹲伏：想要害人，最後是自己落入自己設的計謀中、網羅中。

How?

My life is not pursuing money but pursuing the target the Lord arranged for me. And honor his Holy Name. My action is more closer to the Lord, listen to his word.
