Samuel's farewell speech to Israelite: 1)Samuel have not done evil thing to his people, The Load is witness, so as all Israel witness. 2)There fathers forgot the Load their God, now they want a king to rule over them, you did evil thing in the eyes of the Load when you asked of a king. 3)Be sure to fear the Load and serve him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things he has done for you.
Now then stand here, Now then stand still and see this great thing the Load is about to do before your eyes! Samuel called upon the Load, and that same day the Load sent thunder and rain. So the people stood in awe of the Load and of Samuel.
For the sake of his great name the Load will not reject his people, because the Load was pleased to make you his own.
Samuel said " as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Load by failing to pray for you."
Farewell speech make the end of he rule of the judges.
Why?
Samuel is old, he could not serve Israelite longer, he loves his people, so talk to Israelite what evil thing they did and what they should do in the future, he asked God gave him the sign that what he spoke is come from the Load.
Serving the Load faithfully with all your heart, and consider what great things he has done for us; it is useful when we have distress or dismay.
How?
Serve the Load faithfully with all my heart and consider what he did great thing for me. Yes He have done. As for me, far be it from me that I will serve the Load with all my heart and remember, consider what great things he has done for me.
