What are you looking for? It might in vain

Lamentations 4:1-22
Described the Nobles and people of Israelite became poor and pity homeless men.
This is the punishment of my people is greater than that of Sodom.
The Load has given full vent to his wrath; he has poured out his anger. He kindled a fire in Zion that consumed her foundations. It happened because of the sins of her prophets and the iniquities of her priests, who shed within her the blood of the righteous.
Moreover, our eyes failed, looking in vain for help; from our towers we watched for a nation that could not save us.
The cup of Israel has drunk will be passed to the people of Edom, the Load will expose their wickedness. Zion punishment will end; the Load will not prolong their exile.
Why?
All of the event described were happened when Israel was struck by the Load.
The Israelite looking for a tower or nation are the idles and foreign countries that could not help them.
Edom is the brother of Israel, they were joyful for the suffer of Israel, but this pain and disgrace would pass over to them also, and the punishment from the Load will end to Israel, they has hope of salvation.
How?
What I am looking for? It is the mercy of the Load. Did I looking at the wealth and men, I have to commit that I did, I realized that the hope and life is come from the Load almighty. I am looking for the truth and love of the Load, and following his command.
