It is blessing for one who fears the Lord

Jeremiah 35:1-19
The Lord let Jeremiah invited the Recabite family to come to one of the side rooms of the house of  the Lord and gave them wine to drink, but they refused to drink wine for they have obeyed everything their forefather commanded them.
This examples the Lord asked Jeremiah tell the men of Judah and the people of Jerusalem, the difference between Joadab son of Recab and people of Judah. One  obeyed their forefather's commands, another did not obey the command of  the Lord and their forefather's teaching.
Jonadab son of Recab will never fail to have a man to serve the Lord.
Chapter 35 and 36 take us back 10 years to the earlier siege of Jerusalem in the reign of King Johoiakim (609-598)
The Recabites, pledged to abstain from wine and to a nomadic游牧 lifestyle, were descendants of Jehonadab, who took God's part against the Baal-worshipper in 2 Kings 10:15-23 and 1 Chronicles 2:55
Why?
Fear of the invading army brings them to the city, where their obedience to a pledge made 200 years before puts the people of God to shame.
Follow the commands of the Lord is not difficult as the Rechabites obeyed the pledge their forefather has done. The factor is fear the Lord in heart.
How?
Fear the enemy instead of fear the Lord, bring people suffer distress. I'd rather fear the Lord, and bring blessing to me.
