The Lord is justice and is full of mercy

Jeremiah 30:1-24
In days to come you will understand this- God's plan, his heart and his fierce anger.
The Lord promised he will bring his people Israel and Judah back from captivity ad restore them to the land He gave their forefather to posses. How awful that day will be! None will be like it. It ill be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be save out of it.
"I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.'
Why do you cry out over your wound, your pain that has no cure? Because of your great guilt and many sins I have done these things to you.
Why?
At the nation's darkest hour, comes a message of hope. When it looks like total extinction, God promises his people a future.
They will be saved ad restored. the exiles will return rejoicing to their homeland.
The words of Jeremiah here, like those of Isaiah, have a short-term and long-term future significance. He is talking of the actual return from exile, yet there is more to be fulfilled.
IN days to come we will understand, we need the hope and faith in God's word now.
All of the wound and pain of Judah came, because of there guilt and sin and God have to disciple them with His justice. God has mercy and justice both.
How?
Jesus has come and bring a hope and salvation to us. Holy Spirit is come to his believers. Let us could come close to the Lord, how great this mercy to us. Don't let Jesus worries for us again. Be strong and encourage to follow Jesus.
