God's glory above all; Ezekiel

Ezekiel 1:15-28
Four wheels on the earth beside the living creatures. Their appearance an construction being as it were wheel within a wheel. The spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.
Over the heads of the living creatures there was the likeness of an expanse, shining like awe-inspiring crystal.
Above the expanse over their heads there was the likeness of a throne, in appearance like sapphire and seated above the likeness of a throne was a likeness with a human appearace. As it were gleaming metal, fire enclosed all around, like the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud on the day of rain.
Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.

Why?
Ezekiel saw the glory of the Lord, did not the image of the Lord.
It is hard to describe the Lord, but there were a few characters of throne, human, fire, cloud and the glory.
How?
The Lord is with us. God's glory beyond all of the earth and all creatures.
