Thanks giving

Ezekiel 4:1-17
Ezekiel do some actions to symbolize the siege of Jerusalem.
Lie on left side for 390 days and put the sine of the house of Israel upon himself. Lie down again on his right side, and bear the sin of the house of Judah 40 days, a day for each year.
Take wheat and barley, beans and lentils, millet and spelt; put them in a storage jar and use them to make bread for yourself. eat it during the 390 days.
Weight out 20 shekels (230gm/80oz) of food to eat each day and eat it at set times, And measure out a sixth of a hin (half a litre) of water and drink it at set times.
The people watch, and get the message. With growing horror they see him weigh out his meagre微薄 measure of mixed grain and eke out 勉強維持 his water ration. They see the prophet wasting away消瘦, as the population of Jerusalem will do under siege.
The Greek version has 190 days; from the fall of Samaria in 722/1 BC to the return of the exiles in 538 is 184 years. From the fall of Jerusalem in 587 to 538 is 49 years. 40 may represent a generation, rather than being an exact figure.
Why?
The Lord let Ezekiel live out the life of Israel and Judah will be before they waste away. Live out the situation of the Jerusalem has more impressive image to Israelites.
Ezekiel was living in exile but he had kept himself ritually clean, observing the food laws, as Daniel and his friends also did at the Babylonian court.
When we are living in this good environment life, don't forget it is the mercy of the Lord to us. Thanks giving to the Lord and many peoples have done for us.
How?
Nothing is naturally will be, but the grace of the Lord comes upon me. Fear the Lord is wisdom and praise to be the Lord.
