God only is my hope and my strength

Acts 27:12-24
When neither sun nor stars appeared for may days ad the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved. After the men had gone a long time without food, Paul stood up before them and said; Men, you should have taken my advice not to sail from Crete. But now I urge you to keep up your courage because not one of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed.
Last night and angel of the God whose I am and whom I serve stood beside me and said 'Do not be afraid, Paul, You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you."
They start late in the season (sailing eased for winter in mid-November) and by the time they reach Crete 'the Fast'; Atonement, September/October) is over.
As they seek a winter harbor, the favorable south wind changes to a dreaded 'north-easter'. For two weeks they run before the storm, with no means of knowing where they are: they fixed their position by sighting sun and stars).
Paul, the authority, giving hope and courage to all 276 souls aboard. God has promised them safety: Paul will appear before Caesar.
Why?
For they had not way to face this situation, they thought they will lost their life under such severer weather.
People lost their hope when they lost what they trusted, such as the sun and stars can give their position.
Only authority of the Lord beyond everything on the world. Only God can give us the hope and strength.
How?
O God! give me faith and sight like Paul, let me can face the difficulty and struggling on my way.
