Acts 27:25-37
Paul said 'we must run aground on some island.'
The sailors let the lifeboat down into the sea, pretending they were going to lower some anchors from the bow. Then Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, "Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be save."
Paul urged them all to eat, "For the last fourteen days, you have been in constant suspense and have gone without food - you haven't eaten anything. Now I urge you to take some food. You need it to survive. Not one of you will lose a single hair from his head." After he said this, he took some bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all.
Why?
Not only the centurion and solders listened to Paul, but all 276 people listened to Paul, for Paul had warning them, but they did not listen, and it is happened. Now they lost their way, but Paul gave them the instructions and hope.
God is the leader of the ship, and God let Paul be the represent of God before these 276 men.
How can I show the power of the Lord among my family and among my colleagues and among my churches. Say the truth and have good witness and encourage those who lost hope.
How?
O Lord! please me know how to do to honor your name in where I am.
