Acts 24:17-23
Or these who are here should state what crime they found in me when I stood before the Sanhedrin— unless it was this one thing I shouted as I stood in their presence: ‘It is concerning the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial before you today.’
Then Felix, who was well acquainted with the Way, adjourned the proceedings. He ordered the centurion to keep Paul under guard but to give him some freedom and permit his friends to take care of his needs.
His only 'crime' concerns his belief in resurrection. Felix adjourns(休會,順延) the case, giving Paul limited freedom.
Why?
The kernel of the gospel is the resurrection of the dead, so Paul focused on this issue when he was being charged. Actually Paul did not disturb any violent or stir any crowd publicly.
Talk the gospel with courage in right places.
Because Paul talked about the resurrection of the dead so he could not be released but under control of governor.
How?
Let learn from Paul to preach gospel at anywhere and anytime.
