Listen to God's word without my own concept and idea

Luke 4:14-30
The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovered of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.
Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.
All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. "Isn't this Joseph's son?" they asked.
No prophet is accepted in his hometown. I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah's time, when they sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land. Yet Elijjah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon.
All the people in the synagogue were furious when they heard this.
Luke chooses to start with Jesus' keynote 'sermon' at the synagogue back home in Nazareth, although this was not the first event in his ministry. Astonishment at Jesus' teaching quickly changes to hostility. And at the implication that because of their disbelief the gospel will be offered to non-Jews, the people are all set to lynch him.
Why?
The gospel is 1)to preach good news to the poor 2)to proclaim freedom for the prisoners 3)recovered of sight for the blind 4)release the oppressed 5)proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.
The Spirit of the Lord is on Jesus so he could proclaim gospel and explain the detail of God's word.
People were amazed at what Jesus said, but they didn't trust in him for they knew Jesus is son of Joseph. They don't think he is the Messiah.
Jesus mentioned Elijah and Elisha, both are great prophets, but they were accepted at other city not accepted at his home town, so as Jesus didn't accept in his hometown. People used their own idea to watch each one. So they could not see the truth.
How?
Before read the Bible or listen to the word of God, I should calm down and humble to read God's word.
