Ezra 7:1-10
During the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra came up from Babylon. He was teacher well versed in the Law of Moses, which had granted him everything he asked, for the hand of the Lord his God was on him.
For Ezra has devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching it decrees and laws in Israel.
The rest of the book focuses on Ezra, a priest who can trace his line right back to Aaron, the first high priest. Ezra is a scholar of God's law. He will teach it to the new community of God's people, so that the will not repeat past mistakes.
Why?
For the hand of the Lord was on Ezra, so he granted king of Persia everything he asked. First let God be my first priority then God will put me on his first priority.
Devoted? I devote myself to the Lord and devoted myself to study the Bible.
Observance the law of God is the way in my life.
Teaching God's word is my mission, let more people turn the Lord and Jesus Christ.
Above is the attitude to word of the Lord.
How?
Devote, study, observance and teaching God's word!
