Psalm 148:1-14
Praise the Lord from the heaven. He set them in place for ever and ever; he gave a decree that will never pass away.
Praise the Lord from the earth, young men and maidens, old men and children.
Let them praise the name of the lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
He has raised up for his people a horn, the praise of all his saints, of Israel, the people close to his heart.
This psalm calls on everything there is to praise its Creator: the angels in heaven' sun, moon and stars; the earth and its creatures; the elements; the wild and the tame; kings and all people everywhere. And who should praise him like his own.
Horn: Meaning God has given them strength and power.
Why?
All creatures should praise the creator, the Lord.
God's decree that is never pass away, so we should meditate God's word.
God has raised up for his people a horn, the strength and power to honor name of the Lord.
How?
