But Peter and John replied, “Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges!  As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.
It is the reaching, centring on the risen Chris, which annoys the Sadducees - naturally enough, since they denied the possibility of resurrection. The resurrection was at the heart of the Christian message from the beginning. Despite the arrest of Peter and John, numbers continue. The Council may warn, but the apostles cannot stop speaking.
Why?
Jesus is the stone of builders but was rejected by Israelites, Jesus Christ has become the cornerstone of church and the truth.
Salvation is found in no one else,  for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind except Jesus Christ.
Peter and John is ordinary men but they could say word to encourage people and let 5000 people repent and praise the Lord. It is the power of Holy Spirit with them and proved Jesus Christ is the Lord.
How?
Trust in Jesus Christ, salvation is found in no other name. Jesus Chris is my salvation and my hope , my way. Be courage!
