Unacceptable Sacrifices

 Leviticus 22:1-22

If a descendant of Aaron has a defiling skin disease or a bodily discharge, he may not eat the sacred offerings until he is cleansed. He will also be unclean if he touches something defiled by a corpse or by anyone who has an emission of semen, or if he touches any crawling thing that makes him unclean, or any person who makes him unclean, whatever the uncleanness may be. 

No one outside a priest’s family may eat the sacred offering, nor may the guest of a priest or his hired worker eat it. But if a priest buys a slave with money, or if slaves are born in his household, they may eat his food. 

If any of you—whether an Israelite or a foreigner residing in Israel—presents a gift for a burnt offering to the Lord, either to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering, you must present a male without defect from the cattle, sheep or goats in order that it may be accepted on your behalf.

The Lord said to Moses,  “When a calf, a lamb or a goat is born, it is to remain with its mother for seven days. From the eighth day on, it will be acceptable as a food offering presented to the Lord. Do not slaughter a cow or a sheep and its young on the same day.

When you sacrifice a thank offering to the Lord, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf.  It must be eaten that same day; leave none of it till morning. I am the Lord.

 I am the Lord, who made you holy!

Only the very best we can give- whether in the priesthood or sacrificial offering - is in any measure worthy of God.

Why?

Because God is holy and who made us holy, so when we make an offering to the Lord, it has to be clean and with our heart. Fear the Lord and honor the name of the Lord.

Burnt offering need male without defect from the cattle, sheep, or goats in order that it may be accepted on your behalf. It has to follow the way or the rule of the Lord, it is not on our way to serve the Lord.

祭司所吃的食物：謹慎處理神歸給他的東西。

遠離即拿細耳人，及分別為聖。要用慎重尊敬的態度處理

能吃的人：外人不能吃。祭司的買來僕人可以吃，只要是祭司的家人可以吃。我們在教會是否儒家人，是否想來就來，不想來就辭職不做。僕人是不能辭職的。家人不領薪水的，如果服事神還計較報酬就不是家人，不是僕人而是雇工。不可吃的人誤吃了就要賠償。神要 賞賜的絕對回會保守。

不可獻上有瑕疵的祭物，只有平安祭，還願時可以有瑕疵，卻不容悅納。我們剩下的拿來奉獻也可以，卻不蒙悅納。

11～22章的結束：願我們都成為神的家人，僕人，不是雇工。
