Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!

 Matthew 20:29-34

Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked. Lord,” they answered, “we want our sight.” Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.

Mark and Luke mention only one blind man - perhaps because Peter, who probably supplied the information, knew Bartimaeus personally.

Why:

These two blind men trust in Jesus and do not care about the crowd's criticism. They cried to Jesus Christ to help them. And Jesus has mercy to them and gave them sight.

Cry to Jesus means has faith in Jesus.

Walking on the way of Jesus Christ sometimes is hard and lonely, but be encouraged for God is with us.

-------------

How?

Can we have faith like these two blind men, even the situation was bad and alone?
