Revelation 12:1-6
A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.” And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.
The star-crowned woman clothed with the sun stands for God's chosen people, from whom first the Messiah, and through him, the church was born.
Why?
This son means Jesus Christ will rule over the world, dragon means the anti-Christ, the devil fight to the Christ. Here John describes the war on heaven in the future. even it is severe, finally, Christ won and the devil, the dragon will fail and be controlled.
1260days=3.5 years

這婦人代表什麼? 如約瑟的夢境，婦人代表以色列。男孩可能代表指基督。約翰所看見的事現在的有指教會的事，異象是未來的事。基督做的，門徒也要做，廣義的說：婦人代表教會是男孩是信主，得救的人。十個頭十個角都代表地上的政權，來逼迫教會。撒旦帶著1/3的天使背叛神，所以1/3的星被摔在地上。主早已為婦人預備地方，好像神在曠野照顧以色列人。曠野好像什麼也沒有卻可以養活人。一無所有卻是樣樣都有，且早已預備好了。照顧1260日。
大紅龍是撒旦，雖然有能力，權柄，但是都是被限制的。雖然撒旦要吞吃教會的得勝者，神早已預備好，足以應付最困苦的情況。

Even there is a war between love and sins, the good news is Jesus Christ will be king forever.
