They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony

 Revelation 12:7-17

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury because he knows that his time is short.

Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent. But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

The dragon bent on destruction is Satan himself. V7-12 is a reminder that the struggle Christians are caught up in is part of a much greater conflict.

The main message is clear. Although Satan is strong and powerful, and his attack fierce, his time is short. He has been overpowered by Christ; he can be overcome by Christ's followers. He is destined for destruction, the church for triumph. God's people are at all times and everywhere under his sovereign protection.

Why?

There is a fierce war on heaven, and the dragon is hurled down into the world. 

No matter how powerful of the dragon, the Satan, he could not overcome the Christian, the rest of her offspring, the rest of the offspring - those who keep God's commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

1.天上的戰爭： 撒旦雖然有能力 ，卻被天使迦勒重重的摔在地上。

2.得勝的宣告： 神的國、救恩，勝負已決定了。教會也要與基督同得勝。自己見證的道： 基督徒在行為上的見證，不是講台、不是唱詩，是在生活中見證神的道。

3.在逼迫中神賜給教會力量，鷹的翅膀，代表教會可以以優美的姿態飛到曠野，不是倉促的逃走。水本來是否好的，但是若是水來自撒旦，則會淹死，淹死在世界的洪流中。撒旦不論如何出招，神都可以化解，如耶穌在曠野接受魔鬼的三個試探，爭戰，都可以勝過。

How?

Keep God's commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus. God is my shepherd and savior. God is the fountain of wisdom, joy, freedom, love.
