• （大衛的詩。）耶和華啊，誰能寄居你的帳幕？誰能住在你的聖山？

• 就是行為正直、做事公義、心裡說實話的人。

• 他不以舌頭讒謗人，不惡待朋友，也不隨夥毀謗鄰里。

• 他眼中藐視匪類，卻尊重那敬畏耶和華的人。他發了誓，雖然自己吃虧也不更改。

• 他不放債取利，不受賄賂以害無辜。行這些事的人必永不動搖

這是義人，完全人

挪亞與神同行，只有他一人，這是神說的，不是玩的自己說的 創6:7

來11:7 挪亞因著信，既蒙神指示他未見的事，動了敬畏的心，預備了一隻方舟，使他全家得救。因此就定了那世代的罪，自己也承受了那從信而來的義。

路17:26 挪亞的日子怎樣，人子的日子也要怎樣。

耶和華啊！誰能寄居你的帳幕，誰能住在你的聖山?就是行為正直、做事公義、心裡說實話的人.這世代最能滿足人的是虛榮！

He whose walk is blameless,
    who does what is righteous,
    who speaks the truth from their heart;

A)心中(正向)的態度與道路... 自我約束

          1)無可指責   生命(明暗處)

          2)由心發出的真理（絕對感）

           3)他不以舌頭譏謗人，不惡待朋友也不隨夥譭謗鄰里

Murder by an unknown hand

Deuteronomy 21:1-9

If someone is found slain, lying in a field in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess, and it is not known who the killer was, your elders and judges shall go out and measure the distance from the body to the neighboring towns. Then the elders of the town nearest the body shall take a heifer that has never been worked and has never worn a yoke and lead it down to a valley that has not been plowed or planted and where there is a flowing stream. There in the valley they are to break the heifer’s neck. The Levitical priests shall step forward, for the Lord your God has chosen them to minister and to pronounce blessings in the name of the Lord and to decide all cases of dispute and assault. Then all the elders of the town nearest the body shall wash their hands over the heifer whose neck was broken in the valley, and they shall declare: “Our hands did not shed this blood, nor did our eyes see it done. Accept this atonement for your people Israel, whom you have redeemed, Lord, and do not hold your people guilty of the blood of an innocent person.” Then the bloodshed will be atoned for, and you will have purged from yourselves the guilt of shedding innocent blood, since you have done what is right in the eyes of the Lord.

God sets basic values and dignity on every human life. He is the advocate for those with no voice or power. The meaning of the ritual in 1-8 is uncertain, but corporate guilt and responsibility are real. The elders swear that their city is blameless.

Why?

The blood is life from the Lord. Anyone should respect life, so shed blood should investigate the murder, If could not find the murder, the heifer shed blood to erase the sins of people in the promised land.

Promised land belongs to the Lord so there is no guilt and sins could exist.

How?

We belong to the Lord so no sin or guilty may stay in us.

The rule to the war

Deuteronomy 20:1-20

When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the Lord your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you.  When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army.

Then the officers shall add, “Is anyone afraid or fainthearted? Let him go home so that his fellow soldiers will not become disheartened too.” When the officers have finished speaking to the army, they shall appoint commanders over it.

When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace. If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you. If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city. 

However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes. Completely destroy them—the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites—as the Lord your God has commanded you. Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the Lord your God.

When you lay siege to a city for a long time, fighting against it to capture it, do not destroy its trees by putting an ax to them, because you can eat their fruit. Do not cut them down. Are the trees people, that you should besiege them?

Rules for war. The text envisages a holy war. God does with the army and gives the victory.

Those who have built a new house or planted a new vineyard, the newly married, and the fainthearted are excused military service.

Make a distinction between the treatment of Canaanite nations and those further afield. Even under siege, the frit trees must not be cut down - they are not your enemies.

Why?

Victory belongs to the Lord and anyone who fainthearted are excused military service, who may discourage the whole army.

To the enemy of Canaanite and further afield is a different strategy. To the promised land Israelites have to destroy all of them. For they will affect them and turn them away from the Lord.

God has known the situation of Israelites will be, God was warning them before they enter the promised land, but they still forgot the word of the Lord and suffered the pain and loss in history.

得勝不提方法，是耶和華與他們同在，爭戰得勝在於神，不在乎敵人武器等。

參予戰爭就要專心，不要再為後方的事操心，如果放不下心就不要來。跟隨主也和參戰一樣。保羅說跟隨主要有同樣的心！

迦南地的宗教是非常可怕、道德敗壞的。所以不允許任何影響真理、不允許繼續存留。

要善用資源而不是掠奪的戰爭！善用恩典，而不是濫用恩典。我們的生活每天都是屬靈的爭戰。

How?

God's word is the rule and our salvation, obeying God's command, and keeping in our heart is the blessing in my life.

Cities of Refuge & life for life, eye for eye

Deuteronomy 19:1-21

Determine the distances involved and divide into three parts the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, so that a person who kills someone may flee for refuge to one of these cities.

Because you carefully follow all these laws I command you today—to love the Lord your God and to walk always in obedience to him—then you are to set aside three more cities. Do this so that innocent blood will not be shed in your land, which the Lord your God is giving you as your inheritance, and so that you will not be guilty of bloodshed.

But if out of hate someone lies in wait, assaults and kills a neighbor, and then flees to one of these cities, the killer shall be sent for by the town elders, be brought back from the city, and be handed over to the avenger of blood to die.

Do not move your neighbor’s boundary stone set up by your predecessors in the inheritance you receive in the land the Lord your God is giving you to possess.

One witness is not enough to convict anyone accused of any crime or offense they may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Cities of refuge; boundaries; witness/ Three cities of refuge in Canaan are added to the three east of the Jodan. Joshua 20 lists them as Kedesh, Shechem, Kiriath-arba. Bezer, Ramoth and Golan.

Why?

Cities of Refuge protects innocent people who kill others in accidents.

Do not let innocent bloodshed in your land is the main purpose of God's people.

Even in cities pf refuge, the elder has to judge the people do they really innocent or assaulted and kill other people.

Life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. This means the judge is righteousness.

Protect each one the boundaries of the inheritance land.

故意殺人，通常與個人貪心有關。不可挪移地界，即貪戀別人的土地，如亞哈王貪戀土地，大衛貪戀別人的妻子。逃城保護無辜殺人的，也是保護想報仇的人免於殺人。這也是神的公義。對於一心一意想要報仇的人，其實也是惡人。你眼不可顧惜他，不容流無辜人的血。逃城也是預表耶穌基督。

How?

Mercy and judgment is existing in God's people, so we should do the right things as the Lord commanded us.

How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?

Deuteronomy 18:9-22

When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.  You must be blameless before the Lord your God.

The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the Lord your God has not permitted you to do so. The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.

But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.

You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed.

The true prophet is one like Moses: his words are proved true by events.

Why?

God warning his people, enter the promised land do not learn to imitate the detestable way of the nation there. For it is connected to the dead and against the way of the Lord.

Keep away from sorcery or divination. There are many words said by some sorcery or medium in the world, to predict some tread or events, keep away from them.

How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord? If it is said by the Lord will come true.

How?

Do what the Lord has told us, and keep in mind. May the Holy Spirit remind me away from detestable things.

The Levites, shall live on the food offerings presented to the Lord, for that is their inheritance

Deuteronomy 18:1-8

The Levitical priests—indeed, the whole tribe of Levi—are to have no allotment or inheritance with Israel. They shall live on the food offerings presented to the Lord, for that is their inheritance. They shall have no inheritance among their fellow Israelites; the Lord is their inheritance, as he promised them.

This is the share due the priests from the people who sacrifice a bull or a sheep: the shoulder, the internal organs and the meat from the head. You are to give them the firstfruits of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the first wool from the shearing of your sheep,

If a Levite moves from one of your towns anywhere in Israel where he is living, and comes in all earnestness to the place the Lord will choose, he may minister in the name of the Lord his God like all his fellow Levites who serve there in the presence of the Lord. He is to share equally in their benefits, even though he has received money from the sale of family possessions.

Renounce for priests and Levites.

Why?

The Levitical priests are the servant of the Lord, so Israelites have to serve the food offering presented to the Lord, and it is their inheritance.

The Levite moves from other places to your town to serve the Lord should have the same right and equally in their benefits. This is the welfare of the Levite.

How?

Ministers or pastors have the right to be provided by fellows of the church. For they are the priest before the Lord.

God's law is the king's unfailing guide

 Deuteronomy 17:1-20

On the testimony of two or three witnesses a person is to be put to death, but no one is to be put to death on the testimony of only one witness. The hands of the witnesses must be the first in putting that person to death, and then the hands of all the people. You must purge the evil from among you.

Go to the Levitical priests and to the judge who is in office at that time. Inquire of them and they will give you the verdict. You must act according to the decisions they give you at the place the Lord will choose. Be careful to do everything they instruct you to do.  Act according to whatever they teach you and the decisions they give you. Do not turn aside from what they tell you, to the right or to the left. Anyone who shows contempt for the judge or for the priest who stands ministering there to the Lord your God is to be put to death. You must purge the evil from Israel.

He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold.

When he takes the throne of his kingdom, he is to write for himself on a scroll a copy of this law, taken from that of the Levitical priests. It is to be with him, and he is to read it all the days of his life so that he may learn to revere the Lord his God and follow carefully all the words of this law and these decrees and not consider himself better than his fellow Israelites and turn from the law to the right or to the left. Then he and his descendants will reign a long time over his kingdom in Israel.

God requires a just, fair, and impartial judiciary. No bribes are to be accepted. 'for fights blind the eyes even of wise and honest men'. Sacrifice is no a way to ger tid of defective animals. A death sentence may be carried out only on the clear testimony of two or more witnesses. Local judges must refer hard cases to higher authority at the nation's place of worship that judgment is final/

God permits the monarchy but does not set it up. The dangers are foreseen here - military aggression sensuality leading to idolatry - became an uncomfortable reality later in Israel's history. God's law is the king's unfailing guide.

Why?

God is righteousness so his people have to be just and do the right things. There is no partiality among people.

The Lord has warned Israelites must not take many wives, his heart will be led to astray.

To be a king read God's word every day and God's word is his guide to be a good king. So as to us, read God's word and obeying God's word is our guidance in our daily life and protection.

The bribe, women may lead our heart astray, so keep away from it.

God's word endure forever, even 2000 years ago God's word is working now. Parise to the Lord. 

Three festival a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God

Deuteronomy 16:1-22

Observe the month of Aviv and celebrate the Passover of the Lord your God, because in the month of Aviv he brought you out of Egypt by night.

Count off seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain. And rejoice before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, the Levites in your towns, and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows living among you.

Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress. And rejoice before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, the Levites in your towns, and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows living among you.

Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed: Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.

Appoint judges and officials for each of your tribes in every town the Lord your God is giving you, and they shall judge the people fairly. Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.

The three main fests. The great festivals, Three times each year - Passover, Weeks(Penticose_, Tabernacles- all Israelite men were required to come with a gift to the national place of worship. But these are not men-only festivals. They are to be enjoyed with your children, your servants, and the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows who live in your towns.

Why?

Celebrate three festivals to remember the Lord, who gives Israelite out from slavery in Egypt, and celebrate the festival of their achievements. These achievements are the blessing of the Lord.

Let the Lord live in our daily life, it is not only worshiping the Lord in the church but with good behavior in daily life.

Except for the Passover, other festivals are shared with family, foreigners, Levites fatherless and widows. The joy should be shared with others.

三大節日： 利未祭著重如何獻祭，申命記著重在分享。

逾越節要到聖所去獻祭、奉獻。不能只著重在吃。因為無法當天吃完，所以可以和其他人一起享用。無酵餅稱困苦餅，因為匆忙要走，記得在埃及是困苦的，不值得懷念的。我們常常太習慣主的恩典，以致容易忘記神的保守看顧。吃困苦餅，提醒我們。

七七節又稱五旬節，是收割節，住棚節是收藏節。七七節要獻甘心祭，即感恩，因此與人分享。住棚節時所有有收穫的人都要分享出來，特別是孤兒、寡婦、利未人等。

不可空手朝見主，就是要奉獻。

The year for canceling Dabts

Deuteronomy 15:1-23

At the end of every seven years you must cancel debts. This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite. They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the Lord’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed.

Rather, be openhanded and freely lend them whatever they need. Be careful not to harbor this wicked thought: “The seventh year, the year for canceling debts, is near,” so that you do not show ill will toward the needy among your fellow Israelites and give them nothing. They may then appeal to the Lord against you, and you will be found guilty of sin.

If a fellow Hebrews a man or a womam seeks himself to you and serves you six years, in the seventh year you must let him go free. And when you release him, do not send him away empty-handed. 

Set apart for the Lord your God every firstborn male of your herds and flocks. Do not put the firstborn of your oxen to work, and do not shear the firstborn of your sheep. Each year you and your family are to eat them in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose.

Seventh year. Every seven year the debts of fellow-Israelite must be cancelled and all fellow-Israelite slaves must be set free.

Why?

God make a fair well society of God’s kingdom. For God is love.

So these canceling debts and set free if the slaves good to the mercy of everyone in our neighbor.

How?

Love everyone with God’s love and righteousness. Love is includes in righteousness.

Do not neglect the Levites living in your towns

 Deuteronomy 14:1-29

You are children of the Lord your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your heads for the dead, fo your are a people holy to the Lord your God.

Clean and unclean food.

Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the Lord your God always.

Do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.

At the end of every three years, bring all the titles of that your’s produce and shore it in your towns, so that the Levites and the aliens, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Pagan mourning practices are forbidden.

As a reminder that all wealth is God’s gift a proportion is to be regularly set aside. Jewish writers generally see the tithe here as a ‘second tithe’, the first being given to the Levite. It provides an occasion for people to enjoy the results of their labor, and to share generously with others.

Why?

Sharing is good behavior for all I have is the grace of the Lord, generosity is our heart like to share the blessing of the Lord to other. When we give up and God will give us the power and the more blessing.

Do not shave or cut my body for I am belong to the Lord.

Take care the weakness and the servant of the Lord, the missionary for they are working for the Lord and us.

從信仰儀式進入生活中所需要注意的細節。

不要學習異教風俗：

飲食習慣規範：不完全是因為衛生關係，神的兒女與其他人不同，不是以喜好，文化來做標準。以神的吩咐為準則！

奉獻十一是以感恩的心來奉獻，不是以納稅的心態來奉獻，更不是交差了事！平安祭要與人分享，所以十一奉獻還要加上平安祭。

How?

Be  generosity to love the needed person. Help them!

None of the condemned things are to be found in your hands

Deuteronomy 13:1-18

If the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer.  The Lord your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. It is the Lord your God you must follow, and him you must revere. That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you from the way the Lord your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.

Then you must inquire, probe and investigate it thoroughly. And if it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done among you, you must certainly put to the sword all who live in that town. You must destroy it completely, both its people and its livestock.

None of the condemned things are to be found in your hands. Then the Lord will turn from his fierce anger, will show you mercy, and will have compassion on you. He will increase your numbers, as he promised on oath to your ancestors. 

The danger of being enticed away to false religions was very real. Anyone found on investigation to have encouraged this must be made an example of and destroyed. It would be fatal for God's people to adopt the religious practices which had brought destruction on Canaan.

Why?

We have to carefully keep the word of the Lord, even some prophets or dreamers speak wonder and take place. It is the Lord who tests us whether we love Him.

For there are many dangers are entice us away to the matter of the false religion. To be Christian have to keep away anything that could replace the upper position in our heart except the Lord.

三種人1)假先知 2)親友 3)無賴

1.假先知：看來有能力，但是教導內容是拜別的神。神試驗我們，即到底我們為了什麼跟隨主?我們跟從的不是行異能的人。神蹟異能不能大過神的話。一個人是否來自神?要看共其教導。

2.人至親的朋友或是骨肉之親，為了家人反對，為了親情而放棄信仰。我們要孝順，卻是要在主耶穌裏面。人與人的關係都沒有與神的關係重要。任何影響我們與神的關係的關係都要斬斷。不要因為親情與神的關係受影響。

3.匪類：來自別的城，要將全域都殺了。舊約比較重群體，新約比較重個人。

為什麼人會被勾引：因為有好處。有利可圖。認為神不好，別的神比較好，即對自己有利。面對勾引、試探要徹底掃除乾淨。

How?

There is no other way to be blessed except obey the command of the Lord and honor God's holy name.

But be sure you do not eat the blood, because the blood is the life

Deuteronomy 12:15-32

But you must not eat the blood; pour it out on the ground like water. You must not eat in your own towns the tithe of your grain and new wine and olive oil, or the firstborn of your herds and flocks, or whatever you have vowed to give, or your freewill offerings or special gifts. 

Be careful not to neglect the Levites as long as you live in your land.

But be sure you do not eat the blood, because the blood is the life, and you must not eat the life with the meat.

You must not worship the Lord your God in their way, because in worshiping their gods, they do all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to their gods.

See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.

The meat was not a staple good for the ordinary Israelite, but all enjoyed it at feasts and sacrifices. On the matter of the blood, it is prohibited to eat.

Why?

Do not eat the blood, for it is the life, we should respect it.

The Levites mean God's servant so we should take care of them, as the servant in church now.

God's command is the law of the Lord, so don't add or take away from it.

似乎神規定很多，限制很多，其實神是給人自由，走在神的心意中，耶穌裏就有自由。

分四段，ABAB的來講吃肉和吃祭肉的原則。都要按照神的吩咐。在教會和在生活中的原則。

隨心所欲而吃的原則！

在神面前歡樂是與人分享，分享的喜樂，分享的對象兒女、僕俾，這些不會忘記。但是利未人是神特別揀選出來的，是神特別在乎的人，即我們在乎神所在乎的人才是符合敬拜的意義。

刪減因為我不喜歡，加添是我喜歡的，所以是符合我的需要、喜好。遵行自己的喜好。不是以神為大的尊祟。

How?

God's word is applied to this world even it is announced two thousand years ago.

You are not to do as we do here today, everyone doing as they see fit

Deuteronomy 12:1-14

Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places.

There bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord your God has blessed you.

You are not to do as we do here today, everyone doing as they see fit.

And there rejoice before the Lord your God—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites from your towns who have no allotment or inheritance of their own.  Be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please. Offer them only at the place the Lord will choose in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you.

All the places where the Canaanites practiced their depraved rites are to be wiped out. Israel is not to use them. When the nation is settled GOd will select one specific place for the sacrifices. Shiloh was the nation's first religious center, under Eli and Samuel. From David and Solomon's time Jerusalem, with its Temple, was GOd's holy city, though after Solomon's death the breakaway tribes set up two rival shrines for the northern kingdom.

Why?

Even the Lord has said to Israelites before they entered the promised land, but a few generations later, all of the evil things God reminded happened. 

Do not leave any little seed of evil in our daily life. and keep the word of the Lord has to pay attention and careful follow. 

The prosper and proud always is the reason to fall down our heart.

摩西再一次對以色列民說明十誡！盡心、盡性，盡力的敬畏耶和華，總歸就是愛。

不可在異教的祭壇來獻祭，一定要在神規定的地方獻祭。照神的方法，不是按自己喜好，方便、時間、能力來獻祭。我這個人的主權也是屬於主的，敬拜就是把最高的價值獻給神！奉獻就是我所有一切都是神的。所以我的價值就低於神！一切都以神的喜好為主。不是求主祝福，配合我的計劃。

聖殿、會幕代表耶穌，代表回到神面前的那條路。耶穌基督就是我們唯一的道路。偶像就是自己的喜好，目標，任何可以取代神的都是偶像。

Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

The Lord your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— the blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today;  the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known. When the Lord your God has brought you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim on Mount Gerizim the blessings, and on Mount Ebal the curses.

Remember God's love, his power, his provision, his law, his judgments. ANd let that memory keep you humble, faithful, obedient.

Why?

Obey the word of the Lord in our daily life, wherever we go, we sit, we talk is the word of the Lord.

The blessing and the curse are clear and show to Israelites and us. God gives us the right to choose. 

There is no righteous man on the world, we have to humble ourselves, let the Holy Spirit help us walk on God's way.

5-11 摩西將律法的根本，向第二代以色列人說明，勸勉以色列人遵行神的話語，如此必可以打敗迦南地的人與城。

這裏要將這一大段話做個結束。在生活中無時無刻牢記、遵行神的話。存在心思意念中。教導兒女最好方式就是身體力行成為孩子的榜樣。

應許之地要付代價，腳要踏遍那個地方。只要我們把神的話成為我們的思想，行為。

總結：聽從就是蒙福，否則就是咒詛。這不是威脅，而是與福的泉源連結必蒙福。基利心山樹木茂盛，象徵祝福滿清，以巴路山光禿一遍，不神的話結果會像這個山一樣什麼東西也長不出來。

Circumcise your hearts and do not be stiff-necked any longer

Deuteronomy 10:12-11:17

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?

Yet the Lord set his affection on your ancestors and loved them, and he chose you, their descendants, above all the nations—as it is today. Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer. For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. 

Your ancestors who went down into Egypt were seventy in all, and now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky.

The land you are entering to take over is not like the land of Egypt, from which you have come, where you planted your seed and irrigated it by foot as in a vegetable garden. But the land you are crossing the Jordan to take possession of is a land of mountains and valleys that drinks rain from heaven. It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.

Remember God's love, his power, his provision, his law, his judgments. ANd let that memory keep you humble, faithful, obedient.

Why?

This generation of Israel did not experience the event in Egypt and in the wild desert. But circumcise your hearts. Keep our heart is more important than others.

The history of Israel has proved that the Lord is great and loves us. God is full of love and righteousness forever.

Fear the Lord and observed his decrees is the way to prosper and peace.

因為神愛他們，所以揀選以色列人。

你給別人是東西

神給你是權柄，是永恆

思想：

1.這不公平?  十個童女怎麼不一樣，不可以分享?

   本來就是神的。得勝本來就是神出手，不是我的功勞

2.論功行賞? 運動場賽跑，得獎的只有一個

   是人的互相需要的。先發與板凳球員之間是心結?還是互惠? 先發的做的工比較多，互惠是同一家人。論功行賞不是討論公平，是尊貴

3.同得獎賞?  生命要先給出去，才有空間收入神的恩典。

  永恆的尊貴，如建堂的功勞是神的，不是人做的，建堂完成，即使當初反對的人也應該歡迎他們來參加。

  看自己就好了，問題在於看人眼紅。講定了就不要再爭。如葡萄園的工價，捷運20元搭二站與搭五站價錢相同。拔牙醫生花了10分鐘，另外一個醫生花了30分鐘，去爭為什麼收費一樣。醫生說，令要我拔30分鐘也可以。

分享的是禮物，但是擁有的是權柄。

400人與200人是同一隊。先發與板凳是同一隊多如果分給敵人叫叛國。

分享榮耀

太19:21 耶穌說：你若願意作完全人，可去變賣你所有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；你還要來跟從我 。跟從是權柄。

我們常常要恩賜，恩賜是來造就別人。

馬利亞已經選擇那上好的福分，是不能奪去的

來跟從我！！不是禮物，也無法分享。這是權柄是上好的福分。

物質可以分享，但是(生命)建造的工程不能分享。

They may enter and possess the land I swore to their ancestors to give them

Deuteronomy 9:17-10:11

I feared the anger and wrath of the Lord, for he was angry enough with you to destroy you. But again the Lord listened to me. And the Lord was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I prayed for Aaron too.

You also made the Lord angry at Taberah, at Massah and at Kibroth Hattaavah.

So I made the ark out of acacia wood and chiseled out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I went up on the mountain with the two tablets in my hands. The Lord wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the Lord gave them to me. Then I came back down the mountain and put the tablets in the ark I had made, as the Lord commanded me, and they are there now.

That is why the Levites have no share or inheritance among their fellow Israelites; the Lord is their inheritance, as the Lord your God told them.) Now I had stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights, as I did the first time, and the Lord listened to me at this time also. It was not his will to destroy you.  “Go,” the Lord said to me, “and lead the people on their way, so that they may enter and possess the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.”

But if they will let it, the past can keep them on the right lines for the future.

Why?

Moses reminded them how they have done rebellion against the Lord.

For Moses pleased the Lord and the Lord remember the covenant with their ancestors so God allow them survived and asked Moses to bring them into the promised land on the way. 

How?

Great is the Lord, for his love and righteousness endure forever.

The Lord has brought me here to take possession of this land because of my righteousnes

Deuteronomy 9:1-16

You know about them and have heard it said: “Who can stand up against the Anakites?” But be assured today that the Lord your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the Lord has promised you.

Do not say to yourself, “The Lord has brought me here to take possession of this land because of my righteousness.”No, it is on account of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is going to drive them out before you.

Understand, then, that it is not because of your righteousness that the Lord your God is giving you this good land to possess, for you are a stiff-necked people.

At the end of the forty days and forty nights, the Lord gave me the two stone tablets, the tablets of the covenant. Then the Lord told me, “Go down from here at once, because your people whom you brought out of Egypt have become corrupt. They have turned away quickly from what I commanded them and have made an idol for themselves.”

And all these things bring dangers: the danger of losing their identity as God's people: the danger of false pride.

Why?

No because of my righteousness or my integrity or any good behavior, but because of the love of the Lord so I can be a son of the Lord.

So remember the command of the Lord in my heart and obey his word with all my strength, all my mind, and all my heart.

Great is the Lord Almighty!

How?

Give praise to the Lord and obey the word of the Lord. For God loves me.
