1 Corinthians 3:10-23
No one can lay any foundation other than the on already laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it us, because the day will bring it to light. It will be revealed by fire.If it is burn up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.
You are God's temple, here Paul means the whole church; later he refers to the individual.
No more boasting about men! All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future- all are yours, and you are of Christ, and Christ is of God.
Why?
There should be no place for pride among Christians and no looking down on others. The greatest Christians regard themselves as no more than God's slaves.
Paul and Apollos are not rivals but partners, sharing the work of building God's church.
All things are they had an interest,in all that could go to promote their welfare. They were common partners of the benefits of the talents and labors of the apostles; as they belongs to Christ, and all to God, it was improper to be split up into factions.
All of us build house on the foundation laid by Jesus Christ.
Using any material will be revealed on that Day by fire. All believers are saved but he will suffer loss, when his work is by hay or straw.
How?
I am one servant of the Lord, all other Christians are my partners, we are doing the same missions and all things are belong to the Lord, all our talents and all out have are belong to Christ. No more boasting about men!
