He is full of compassion to us

Jeremiah 42:1-22
All the army officers came to Jeremiah asked Jeremiah hear their petition and pray to the Lord show their way and they promised they will obey the Lord, whether favorable or unfavorable, so that it will go well with them.
Ten days later the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, 'If you stay i this land, I will build you up and not tear you down; I will plant you and not uproot you for I am grieved over the disaster I have inflicted on you. Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, whom you now fear. I am with you ad will save you and deliver you from his hands. I will show you compassion so that he will have compassion on you and restore you to your land.'
If  you are determined to go to Egypt and your do go to settle there, then the sword you fear will overtake you there, and the famine you dread will follow you into Egypt, and there you will die.
Why?
The Lord has compassion, who has love and grieved over the disaster inflicted on  Judah. The Lord like those people came to Jeremiah to ask for petition to the Lord.
The Lord gave them answer ten days later, the Lord usually asks us waiting for his words.
All the people's declared willingness to obey God's word, when the message comes telling them to stay put, they disobey.
Listen to the word of God be saved, disobey the word of God will die.
How?
No matter under what situation, come to the Lord and pray to Him, He is full of compassion and love, wait for his word and answer, God save us and deliver us from the disaster or trouble.
