You don't know what you are asking

Mark 10:32-52
Their way to Jerusalem with Jesus leading the way, and the disciples were astonished, while those who followed were afraid.
James and John asked Jesus let them sit at his right and the other at his left in his glory. Jesus said, "You don't know what you are asking"
"You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with, but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared."
Rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them.
Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, an whoever wants to be first must be slave of all.
The blind Bartimaeus, his actions to Jesus: heard, shout, jump, want, and follow.
Your faith has healed you.
Why?
Jesus was leading the way, so disciples astonished and the followers were afraid, it is unusual as before, this time Jesus ahead forward to Jerusalem and predict his dead third time.
James and John asked for their position, it was their wrong mind and either for us.
Blind Bartimaeus cured this story can be seen as closing the 'frame' around this section, with the healing of another blind man at the beginning, and symbolic of the disciples blindness/enlightenment教化. The story is wonderfully vivid.
Our final destination are define by the Lord, the creator, and depends on what we have done.
To be great among Jesus followers is serve others like Jesus came to be serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
The authority in Christian is not from the position or title but comes from what your love are and what you have served for others. That is honor and reputation.
How?
When I pray to the Lord, do I know what I am asking? don't ask for my self but for the way of the Lord. Pray for the real needy in my life to glory name of the Lord.
