Luke 11:37-54
Justice and the love of God should have practiced. More important than follow the Laws.
Give what is inside (what you have) to the poor and everything will be clean. Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside are full of greed and wickedness.
Woe to you, Pharisees, experts in the law!
For you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.
Because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.
Jesus said, this generation will be held responsible for it all - the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary.
Why?
The hand-washing was a religious ritual, not a matter of hygiene(衛生). The teacher is expected to keep the rules.
Practice the justice and the love of God in my daily life. Sometimes we are easy to one of it, but not both. Both are needed and should keep balance.
Humble myself, check out inside, do have greed and wicked or not? Does it correspond to the word of God?
The generation who do not believe in Jesus will be held responsible for their own.
How?
Meditate what my eyes see? Does it full of justice or the love of God? What my knowledge used for? May the justice and the love of God could be practice in my daily life.
