2Corinthians 11:16-33
Let no one take me for a fool.
Since many are boasting in the way the world does, I too will boast.
To my shame I admit that we were too weak for that! Whatever anyone else dares to boast about—I am speaking as a fool—I also dare to boast about.
Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently…
Besides everything else, I face daily the pressure of my concern for all the churches. Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn?
Apostleship does not consist in oratory and lording it over the church. Paul is not lacking in any of the qualities of true apostleship. As for his own living,he was concerned that no one should think him a sponge, and anxious not to burden them.
Why?
Paul is real apostle in that age. No one can compare with him. Paul is a real servant of Christ.
More harder is the pressure of his concern for all the churches.
Boasting for nothing except Jesus Christ. Boast Christ only.
Confess I am weak but God is stronger to me.
How?
Be humble for Jesus has shedding for me. What can I say, what can I boast about.
